do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

I would definitely suggest watching it!!!!! However I think I may have gone into it with a slightly altered expectation!!!

(Some vague spoilers ahead)

I checked out the faux true-crime website they set up before the movie and I had thought that the movie would be much gorier than it was! It also didn’t take place in the same time period that I expected.

But!!! If you go into it with no expectations, it’s really neat!!!!

It’s nice and eerie and unsettling, with scary moments but without cheap jumpscares. It takes a slightly more supernatural vibe than I expected too but I like that!

The main character is…hot…in my humble (biased) opinion. But I wish there was MORE of him!!!

I also felt as though we were put in the middle of a story and didn’t see the beginning or end. It’s almost as if it was a Part One sort of film, like it ends just when you think Act 3 is going to begin. Still a good experience though!!!

I would recommend watching it! It’s an experience and it’s fun to figure things out. I’m curious if they’re ever gonna make a sequel; I feel like it would flesh out a lot and tie some loose plot-strings!!!

I want you to T-pose. Turn your right thumb up and your left thumb doen and look at your right thumb. Move your arms up and down a bit until you feel a nerve running from your armpit to your palm. Now turn your right thumb down and your left thumb up, and look at your left thumb. Keep your chest facing forward and your shoulders back. Move your arms again until you feel that nerve again. Keep alternating between these two for a minute, or look at each thumb thirty times each.

Now sit down. Put your left hand firmly under your left buttock, palm down. Keep your shoulders back and put your right hand over the crown of your head, very gently pulling it to the right. Do this for thirty seconds, then do it again but with your right hand under your right buttock.

These are stretches for the nerves in your arms, and are very good for people who sit behind a computer a lot, or fibre artists, or you name it. Do them daily. They will hurt in the beginning, but keep doing them, even after the pain has gone, or it will return and you'll have to start all over.

so, just for the record, staff's blatantly discriminatory rules enforcement practices are only half the story. like, if you ever find yourself wondering why trans women are always getting termed right after their posts about transmisogyny start getting numbers (and mysteriously start getting mature content flagged for seemingly no reason), its bc there are a couple of specific circles of people who mass report tgirls who talk about that sort of thing too loudly (or, y'know, they're just generally annoyed by). there's at least one discord server more or less dedicated to the practice to my knowledge and i wouldn't be surprised if there were more.

staff, of course, can perform the tied hands routine bc of this - they're just responding to reports! and now that the first ban is served, any subsequent attempts to rebuild one's social life are read as Ban Evasion. girls are left with the non-choice of permanent exile or starting over from scratch, trying to be quieter this time so they don't get found. this is the point, and its being done with purpose by people who, funnily enough, spend most of their time talking about the importance of Community. lol and lmao
