Jeff Van Drew must resign before the vote.
71 percent of his “Democratic primary voters — would be less likely to support his re-election if he opposed the charges against Mr. Trump.”
“The drop-off in support from party leaders also comes after Mr. Van Drew failed to deliver legislative victories in his district last month.“
Van Drew isn’t the first Democrat in Name Only — the #1 #DINO is West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin  #VotedForKavanaugh  — who will also vote against impeaching Trump
“At a White House meeting on Friday, Mr. Van Drew sought Mr. Trump’s blessing for the move” #TRE45ON
Mr. Van Drew has spoken with senior advisers to Mr. Trump about announcing his switch at an event at the White House either immediately before or just after the House votes on two articles of impeachment, which is expected to happen on Wednesday, according to Republicans and Democrats.
“Last month, Mr. Van Drew vowed in a two-hour teleconference that he would remain a Democrat.” #TwoFaced  #PutinRepublican
While there is little doubt that Democrats will have the votes to approve the charges against the president in a near party-line vote, a small number of their conservative-leaning members are deeply uncomfortable with the idea of taking part in a Democrat-only impeachment vote and are spending the weekend torn over how to proceed.
“I don’t see anything there worthy of actually taking a president out of office,” he said earlier in the week.
Mr. Van Drew was one of only two House Democrats who opposed the impeachment process when the party’s leaders brought the matter to a vote in October to lay out ground rules for the inquiry.

Should I be worried about Jared right now? He’s receiving tons of hate for a deportation joke he made. It’s more than I saw for his tweet promoting Mayor Adler and him interrupting the JenMish panel. I know you said Jared would only pay attention if it hurts his PR badly, but I do feel he is a sensitive person who cares about what his fans think as well. What are your thoughts?
Lol you’re new aren’t you.  Is this your first rodeo?
“tons of hate” is the usual handful of butthutt Destiel minons with a failed agenda from season 5.  Scroll through his mentions and you’ll know how unpopular their opinion-agenda is even among their own fellow shippers and stans.
What may be different this time around is the stars are aligning and all signs are that Misha has been replaced by the shiny new Alex.  Everybody, the Js and producers, are always saying that SPN is about the brothers, Sam and Dean.  the butthurt Destiel minions should be used to that tagline by now but held out sliver of hope that Cas will be acknowledged as a third honorary Winchester.  But that’s not happening and this convention isn’t helping, not with Misha saying Cas doesn’t feel loved by the Winchester or Jensen saying Kripke told him the show is about Sam and Dean.  So as usual the butthurt Destiel script calls for taking it out on Jared because in their sad, depressed state of mind, Jared is the big beautiful Trump wall stopping the entitled freeloaders from shithole fandoms from invading the established canon that made Supernatural great in the first place and thus preveting them changing the show to look like their shitty fanfictions.
Different day, same shit from Destiel minions.

My own brother was born with Down syndrome in 1996 and is severely handicapped. Like Rosemary, he struggles to speak for himself and has had to watch his seven siblings leave home one by one, while he is left behind. But because of Rosemary's legacy, his life is much easier than hers. Thanks to the passage of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in 1990, he is able to receive training at the local high school. He can go to museums and exercise at the YMCA because of the accessibility laws enforced as a result of the ADA. He has better healthcare and access to physical and occupational therapy that allows him to continue to be himself—my Minon-obsessed, Toy Story-loving brother—long past the age Rosemary underwent her lobotomy.
Over a decade after her death, examining Rosemary's legacy is more necessary than ever. Donald Trump, a man who mocked a disabled reporter on the campaign trail and whose properties have faced numerous lawsuits over ADA compliance, is the President. His Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, ruled in a case about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in 2009 that was recently overturned by the Supreme Court, which concluded unanimously that Gorsuch's decision prevented the Autistic child in the case from access to adequate education. Trump's Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos, is pushing a voucher's program; such programs are proven to disadvantage children with disabilities. In sum, "the Trump administration's policies are disastrous for people with disabilities and their families," explains disabilities advocate David M. Perry.
I spoke with Koehler-Pentacoff, who noted that despite the strides made by the Kennedy family in the decades following Rosemary's lobotomy, the job of advocating for people with disabilities is far from done. "We need to listen," she said. "Listen when people with disabilities speak, and make a place for their voices in your life."
In the shadow of Rosemary's legacy, it's up to us to prevent those voices from ever being silenced again.
