Summary: Wei Wuxian has not been having an easy time of it since his mate left to reclaim his home and now he's beginning to wonder if the promise to return had all the substance of seafoam. Kay's comments: Mermay is once again gifting us the best of the best merxian and merji stories and I'm enjoying the hell out of it! Poor Wei Wuxian is really going through it in this story. Got knocked up by Lan Wangji who had to leave soon afterwards to fight against the Wens and ended up kicked out by the Jiangs. The angst is strong in this one, but luckily, Wei Wuxian also gets pampered a lot to make up for it. Also really loved the intersex mer biology in this one! Excerpt: Wei Wuxian felt his pup squirming in his belly and curled up tighter. He'd been unable to make a nesting chamber. Not enough solid coral to manage. How was he going to give birth? How could he protect his pup once he birthed them if he couldn't even protect himself before the birth? He hated this. Hated being vulnerable and afraid, hated not knowing what to do, hated being alone. He should have gone with Lan Zhan. Even without a secure territory he'd have had a pod. Would have had others to help protect him and the pup. Unless...unless Lan Zhan had lied. What if Lan Zhan hadn't really wanted a mate and a pup? Or not wanted him as a mate and mother of his pups. What if Lan Zhan had just wanted sex and nothing more? What if he'd lied so he didn't have to deal with a strange, clingy mer making stupid demands of him? It made sense to Wei Wuxian's pregnancy and stress addled brain.

the only thing i still remember is that wen qing does a surgery to bring back wei wuxian's core, and the new core is from a wen prisoner who is set to be executed. the prisoner turns out to be wen yuan's bio dad, and he's willing.

A) I think this one might have appeared in your blog and that's how I learned about it the first time. Modern AU Wangxian where they're retired/considering retiring figure skaters, and the fic is a series of them trying to have sex but something going wrong. At the end LWJ breaks/hurts his ankle really badly on the way to a cabin to have sex in Olympics gear, and then they get married.

B) WWX comes back in a random cultivator's body while LWJ is recovering from the discipline whip, and he sneaks into the Cloud Recesses to learn about A-Yuan. I think the cultivator gave his body up to WWX to punish him, and the curse mark on his arm becomes activated when he's happy, and it activates so badly it nearly cuts his arm off.

I'm looking for match-making fic where Jin Zixuan (tired of wwx constantly interrupting family time with his wife and newly born son) decides the best way to get him out of the way is to matchmake him with someone. I think he tries Nie Mingjue mainly, because they have similar interests, etc.

Jiang Cheng also gets roped in, but he thinks Jin Zixuan is nuts the whole time. NMJ thinks Wei wuxian is definitely flirting with him at some point because his muscles get complimented? Lan Xichen has to reassure him that "no, he is just like that".

It's a comedy of errors mainly, because LWJ and WWX definitely have something going on between them, and it ends with them running off with horses to elope into the sunset or smth. Jiang Yanli doesn't know her husband's matchmaking scheme, but she does know about wwx and lwj and helps them elope at the end.

Pretty sure it was a short fic, ignores canon and occurs in a what-if scenario where the whole burial mounds situation didn't happen.

Hi, this is the same person who sent an ask requesting fics where some misunderstanding happens and people and up thinking Lwj raped Wwx or thinking Wwx raped Lwj. I forgot to add on the ask that I don't want the ones where the misunderstanding happens because Lwj was drunk and Wwx wasn't, Lwj freaks out when he wakes up thinking he took advantage of Wwx while drunk, Wwx (who didn't know Lwj was drunk) freaks out thinking Lwj regrets what happened and there goes people thinking Wwx is freaking out because Lwj abused him. So, for the first one I kinda answered that already over here but short answer is Pokemon.

How old was I when I encountered a fandom? Let's see, the first fanfiction I ever read was when I was 11 (I can even recall what it was) though I never actually joined a fandom and participated in fandom things online until about 12. But I did have a friend between this time that I talked to extensively about things like Naruto (my first anime).

There are a ton of fics and drawings that I really like (especially when it comes to fics), so I'll narrow it down to one art and fic that stands out above all others.

So, first off, there's a TON of Madatobi fics that are my favorite but surprisingly there isn't a competition on which one sticks out the most, which is chapter one of "101 Ways to Find a Soulmate" by Trulywicked. I think about it almost every day.

As for the art, nothing has hit me more, and stuck with me everyday, than the first picture in @curdledmilkk 's Tobirama post right here. I loved it so much I have had it (and still have it) as my phone wallpaper for over a year, and I got a blanket made (with permission) with the image on it.

After watching his husband; his son; nephew; brother and little radishes dying in front of him one by one because of a source of resentful energy; Wei WuXian dies too as he destroys it.

But instead of darkness; he finds himself back in the past when he had just gotten kicked out of the cloud recess and everything looks so peaceful he can’t stand it. No…no no no he really can’t go through this hell again. Not again. Not after everything was supposed to be over.

Not knowing that Lan WangJi has been thrown back in time as well; he tries; and fails at taking his own life by slitting his throat open in the middle of lotus pier and so; he decides to show everyone the future.

If he’s going to live this hell again; he’s going to change it and if these people are suddenly so determined to keep him alive; then he’s not going to let them die either.

It doesn’t matter if they end up hating him just as much as he hates himself.
