Listen I know I'm late to this trend but I debated sharing this to be honest. I honestly didn't it would even be considered for my Wrapped but it is such an underestimation of how many times this has entered my eardrums--not just this song, but this entire fucking album and show.

This musical is just too damn good to ignore; 4 cast members, all female, badass rock songs, badass rock outfits, badass symbolism, badass love arc. badass. Period. Everyone should give this album a listen.

Honestly this song and show just makes me lose my head in the best way possible, it's so fucking underrated.

Omaima Nelson

egyptian model that killed , castrated , and cooked her husband

“I did his ribs just like in a restaurant. It’s so sweet! It’s so delicious! I like mine tender!”

on thanksgiving day in 1991 , omaima nelson brutally murdered her husband of less than three weeks . she claimed the act was in response to the sexual and physical abuse she suffered at his hands .

following the murder , omaima dismembered her husband 's body in the kitchen . in an attempt to conceal evidence , she boiled his hands in oil to remove fingerprints , and froze his head , later removing his teeth . as an act of symbolic revenge omaima also castrated her husband .

omaima then disposed of the body parts by stuffing some into trash bags and feeding others into the garbage disposal . in the midst of these gruesome acts , omaima took a break to cook and eat her husband 's ribs with barbecue sauce , describing the flesh as " so sweet " .

over the next few days , omaima enlisted the help of two ex-boyfriends to dispose of the remaining body parts .

on december 1 , police received a tip about body parts being spotted in a parked car . those body parts belonged to bill nelson .

police visited omaima 's home to inform her of the discovery and found additional body parts wrapped in newspaper in the refrigerator . they promptly arrested omaima for first-degree murder .

omaima quickly claimed self-defense , stating that bill had subjected her to physical and sexual abuse , including rape . she alleged that bill had raped her on thanksgiving morning and that she feared for her life .

however , orange county deputy district attorney randy pawloski argued that omaima was a scam artist who preyed on men , using bondage sex games to rob them .

at the time of the murder , omaima faced three felony charges related to a 1990 incident in which she allegedly tied up an ex-boyfriend , assaulted him , and demanded money at gunpoint .

the trial revealed further disturbing details , including an interview with a psychiatrist in which omaima described cooking and eating bill 's ribs . according to the psychiatrist , omaima stated :

“I did his ribs just like in a restaurant. It’s so sweet! It’s so delicious! I like mine tender!”

as a child , omaima had been subjected to female genital mutilation (clitoral circumcision) and submitted herself to sexual humiliations in order to survive .

the defense portrayed bill nelson as a sick sadist who tortured his wife sexually , physically , and psychologically . when she adopted a kitten , bill allegedly pulled the animal from omaima’s lap in a moving car and tossed it out the window.

the courtroom walls were lined with photos of bill’s deep-fried hands, frozen head, and skinned torso.
