Why does no one who works on Tron properties animating for either Uprising or the games know what Bruce looks like? THE MAN WORKS FOR YOU GO STARE AT HIM— or look up images of him when he was younger. Idk who that is but it’s not him 😭😭😭

The funniest thing is that the games that get him right are the Disney apps that have a billion and one characters. (It’s also interesting that they both get him right and include Tron at all)

Uprising is a stylized show but that is not- he’s - he voice acts for this - he’s right there you know what he looks like and they’ve also actively made Flynn LOOK LIKE JEFF 😭

Unrelated to his general appearance but they took away his floof™️ his hair shouldn’t be entirely perfect, that’s scary but also. Tron is serious but he’s also incredibly goofy at times it’s sort of? Representative. They clipped my man’s bangs and gave him a military cut.

Played through Mike Bithell's Tron Identity earlier this month. Started playing Tron 2.0 from Monolith for the first time this past weekend. Both have blown me away.

Cleaning up those corners of Tron I haven't touched yet. I think there was a comic published at one point I need to hunt down. The world of Tron really is peak

Tron dictionary: update

I just about have everything organized, the way I’m going to post is by category rather than alphabetical. It is designed to be editable so if there’s a term I haven’t included let me know at any time!

I still would like some video game related stuff, there’s a bunch of jobs and items that have somewhat been absorbed into the larger fandom. I have absolutely no clue of any of it, I haven’t played any game beyond the literal arcade cabinet (which is actually pretty hard)

Also video game terminology in general! I think people forget just how much arcades and game video game cabinets shaped the original film (like all the vehicles canonically being from games) so terms like ‘frame rate’ etc the more technical stuff would also be great to include alongside computing terms.

I never thought of it myself. But it actually makes sens to have Nine Inch Nails do the sountrack to the new Tron film at this point. Personally I've grown up fans of both things and NIN have had a long association with electronic music and video games even scoring some video games in the past!
