In today's world we sometimes just need that little moment to breathe and let go. We are so busy with the hustle and bustle of daily life that we don't take a moment to stop, think, and breathe. We just keep working in a dangerous cycle. Around and around we go, where we stop no one will know - some don't even stop. I found the perfect location to unwind and relax with some of the most gorgeous views I've ever seen in Second Life. This location "Buddha Gardens" is one of the most Zen locations I've ever experienced and needless to say it was a very positive experience. I actually ended up visiting this location before bed this evening and just had to share it with all of you.

This is going to be a shorter post than typical because there is more to see than there is to discuss and I'm a firm believer in exploration. Especially on a virtual world platform, I feel exploration is key, immersing yourself in different environments and cultures is important for growth.

You begin at this little temple that almost looks Japanese, but it is centered perfectly in front of the most gorgeous waterfall I've seen on a sim. The water is so blue and one day I hope to experience water as clear as this in real life. This sim is bigger than you expect, it's a bunch of islands connected to each other by wooden stairs and bridges.

There are flights of stairs that lead you upward to a temple and an observation cliff which has an amazing view of the birds and volcano across the way. I feel this would be an amazing place for photography if you enjoy taking virtual world photographs on your adventures. A lot of people think that because something has a religious term in it like "Buddha" it's going to mean it's religious, but this isn't the case. I am not Buddhist but do accept what they believe in. However, this is honestly just a beautiful area with gorgeous views, a lot of places to meditate and do yoga, and just a place where you feel you can become grounded.

There is a lot to explore and interact with here and I highly recommend the visit to this sim. If you're feeling stressed or just need a new place to add to your exploration list within Second Life I firmly believe (in my opinion of course) that this is a must-see destination. Also, You can't go wrong with the nice placement of Trompe Loeil products throughout the sim (I'm a bit biased but I love this creator's work for furniture and outdoor interactive items).
