Trollfully United
@kristanna-days
I originally intended this to be for the “first time” prompt from Pearl but it went beyond the drabble or double drabble I originally had in mind, and it also fits in with “royalty” from Amethyst, so here it is... This is based on an idea I originally had in 2019 before Frozen II even came out, and it’s basically some backstory to The Young Diplomat, but it doesn’t require knowing anything about that.
This takes place immediately after everyone gets back to Arendelle following the mist lifting...
Anna had expected the enthusiastic greeting from the entire town and, of course, the trolls, when they returned from the Enchanted Forest, but somehow, despite her previous experience with the trolls, she hadn’t been expecting their response to seeing her ring.
“Kristoff!” Bulda gasped, “did she say yes?”
Kristoff nodded, his eyes gone wide.
“Well, of course we can take care of that right now!”
“Wait-” he tried to protest. “Anna?”
“Take care of what?” Anna asked innocently.
“Why, the wedding, of course!” Bulda replied. The other trolls came forward, and a few people from town had begun noticing the commotion.
“I suppose everyone is here,” Anna said, glancing over at Elsa, along with a few others who had joined them on the journey home.
“Are you sure, Anna?” Kristoff asked.
The trolls were staring at her, blinking.
“Of course!” she declared, grabbing Kristoff’s hand, looking up at him. “If you are, I mean…”
“As long as you’re sure about this,” he promised, squeezing her hand.
The trolls got to work, pulling Anna and Kristoff in different directions.  Anna remembered everything before, though it felt much different knowing ahead of time what they were planning.  As the trolls were dressing the two of them, a crowd was beginning to gather.  Elsa came over.
“What’s going on, Anna?” she asked.
“Um…” Anna hemmed. “Elsa, do you remember what I told you about the trolls, you know, before?”
“Yes?” Elsa asked more than answered.
“They, um, saw the ring, and asked if they could, you know, take care of it?”
“You’re getting married right now?” Elsa asked.
“It looks like it, yes,” Anna admitted, smiling. She was starting to feel rather nervous, but she wasn’t second guessing herself. “But, Elsa, you’re here, and, well, practically everyone is here!”
“You’re sure?” Elsa asked, grasping Anna’s hands.
“Very sure! I know maybe I’m a bit nervous, but I’m sure about this.”
Elsa smiled. Then cleared her throat and stepped back a little.
“Well, Anna, I already gave Kristoff my blessing a while ago, I don’t know if he told you that. And I did quietly bring it up with the council members, and they’re fine with Kristoff, too.”
Anna let out a giggle, looking over at the group of Arendellian nobles standing off to the side, eying the trolls suspiciously. “Maybe we should find some wine to serve them. That usually cheers them up.”
“Good idea,” Elsa whispered. “Maybe Halima or Oaken have something handy for a celebration, I’ll go talk with them. You finish getting ready.”
Anna watched Elsa run off to talk to the townspeople.  The trolls had finished decking her out in their traditional wedding costume, and she could see Kristoff over on the other side of the clearing being similarly dressed. Elsa seemed satisfied with whatever arrangements she had made, and the trolls seemed to have noticed this, too, and began singing.
Everyone’s attention was now on the hole that had suddenly been dug in the center.  They got to the point in the ceremony when, a few years before, they had quickly put a stop to things. It was very different now, and she and Kristoff both quickly said “yes” when they were asked. Anna had been a little worried, since Kristoff seemed to be hesitant, but perhaps it really was that he didn’t want to rush her.
Then, the crowd cheered. They were married. Anna could see Oaken and Halima each handing out food and drink to the people around.  Suddenly, the trolls began building rocks over the pit.
“What’s happening?” Anna asked.
Kristoff looked up. “Oh, right, they’re building a hut.”
“With us inside?”
“Did I never tell you about that part?”
Anna shook her head.  “When do we get out?”
“In the morning.”
“Wait, what?”  Anna exclaimed. “I was hoping to at least get something to eat.”
“Don’t worry, there’s food!” Kristoff said, reaching over to a basket Anna hadn’t noticed.
“Not a stew, please tell me it’s not a stew..” Anna muttered.
“Take a look!” Kristoff said, grabbing a roll for himself.
Anna looked. There were various breads, some chocolates, some fruit, and some other things.
“Nice!” she exclaimed.
After eating, she looked around. There were soft moss blankets all around, and crystals creating the soft glow of light inside that she hadn’t thought to question when she had been so hungry.
They were alone.  Anna looked over at Kristoff, who was sitting looking back at her.
“So, we’re alone, aren’t we?” she said, scooting a little closer.
Kristoff felt along the moss on the ceiling, as if he were inspecting something for purchase.
“Yes,” he smiled, bringing Anna in for a kiss.
“Do you think everyone is still outside?” she asked a moment later.
“I expect they are,” he replied. “But I wouldn’t think too hard about that. In some of the outlying towns they still tuck the couple into bed on their wedding night, you know.”
Anna giggled at this. “Really?”
“It’s your kingdom, you should know,” Kristoff smirked.
“Oh,” Anna groaned, giving him a joking shove. One of the leaves decorating his head fell off.  She realized they were both still wearing the crowns and capes the trolls had dressed them in.
“We should get these off,” Kristoff suggested, removing Anna’s crown first.
She proceeded to take off his crown and then his cape, pausing as she reached around his back.
“There,” she said, dropping the cape behind him. She kissed him, and he pulled her in tight.
After a moment, Anna sat back and began unbuttoning the buttons on the cuffs of her sleeves. She watched Kristoff looking at her, and as she was about to unbutton the back of her dress, she stopped.
“Kristoff?”
“Yes?” he asked, his voice strained.
“How are you?” She placed her hand on his knee, not sure what she should actually be saying now.  Novels always seemed to gloss over the wedding night.
“Fine, fine,” he answered, his breathing shaky.
“Would you rather I leave this on for now?”
“Yes- I mean no! I mean…” he let out a frustrated sigh.  “Whatever you want?”
“I think,” she began, then turned around with her back to him, “I need some help with these buttons. They’re a bit hard for me to reach.”
It was sort of a lie, she had managed them on her own plenty of times.
She pulled her hair out of the way, and felt Kristoff’s fingers gingerly touching the button between her shoulders at the base of her neck.  It took him a moment to undo the first one, then he seemed a bit more sure of himself as his hands made the way down her back.
He stopped at her waist, resting his hands on her hips, reaching around. Anna took in a breath. She had felt his hands on her waist before, but now it felt a little more exciting. He traced around the top of the sash around the dress, deftly untying it.
“Here,” he said, handing it over her shoulder, stopping to kiss the spot on the side of her neck that was exposed.
She let the sash crumble into her lap, and he finished with the rest of the buttons. She was beginning to feel impatient, and started slipping the top of her dress off, turning around to see Kristoff.
“I can get the rest of this,” she said, looking at him. “Do you need any help?”
“I think I’ve got this,” he said, swiftly pulling off his shirt.
She finished getting off the rest of her clothes, and moved over  in the few inches remaining between them. He was warm, and she could feel his heartbeat racing. He hadn’t finished undressing, but took a moment to kiss her now that she was in his lap.
“You know I haven’t…” he trailed off.
“That’s fine,” she assured him, kissing him again.
She sat back as he finished getting his trousers off, looking somewhat impatient himself. The two of them sat on the soft moss for a few moments which felt like an eternity. This was it.

I’m sorry but it’s absolutely hilarious and yet adorable how the series handles Broppy’s relationship. First we get them traveling together as rivals (which was a bit more one- sided on Branch’s part) before slowing learning how to work together and to change for the other. Also it’s heavily implied Branch has an underline crush on Poppy. Then we get True Colors, and everyone thinks “okay they’re in love now”.
Tumblr media
Some people/audience members are on board, others not so much. BUT THEN it turns out that the “I love you” they say to each other was a PLATONIC love confession. Like “you’re my friend, and I value you.” Which is still sweet, but was unexpected. (Though it does explain why the writers decided to put another platonic love confession scene between Bridget and Poppy. Yeah, I get it now)
Tumblr media
So they just go through the journey as bffs who have feelings for each other but won’t say anything. And again, they learn how to work and grow together as a team and make the necessary changes to benefit the other. And then FINALLY we get the romantic love confession.
Tumblr media
But it doesn’t stop there, oh no. Now we get adventure #3, this time with them as a full on couple. And they are actually really cute. Actually the film doesn’t focus that much on their relationship but we see hints of how they are as a couple.
Tumblr media
Poppy is still all over the place but she’s much less in her own head and far more open to listening and being a good girlfriend.
Tumblr media
Branch on the other hand is still occasionally getting exasperated by her energy but this time also has an appreciation for it. Also he learns to open up to her a little more and she’s there to listen and accept him with open arms. (Bonus points to their flirty dynamic because wow. They were adorable here.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And it’s ONLY THEN (7 years after the first film) when they get their first on screen kiss.
Tumblr media
Anyway. In conclusion: Trolls is the slowest slow burn I have ever seen in a Dreamworks trilogy.

New reference for Yunan, child of Tivur!
In their trollish village of origin, Yunan grew up in times post Killahead. Skilled in archery, wildly sarcastic (borderline unsociable with peers), and deeply connected to her mother.

If you're feeling heroes
Infinite Realms: Danny Phantom x DC x Marvel AU
Ok Background set-up:
Tim Drake, convinced that Bruce Wayne is still alive, leaves Gotham to search for him, following the path of what he believes are key "historical events." His journey takes him to the desert, where he and his friends discover mysterious runes.
But instead of death befalling his team, the runes turn out to be a veil between dimensions, and they are accidentally sucked into the Infinite Realms—a multiversal space where ghosts, spirits, and lost souls wander.
>>> The Infinite Realms:
The Infinite Realms are vast, uncharted, and connected to every universe, spanning an infinite number of realities.
It's a place of eternal unrest for souls who can not settle, their energy scattered across the realms.
Ghost King Danny phantom oversees this expanse, helping souls who are unable to find peace. His primary task is to evaluate and guide the dead, but things get complicated when some souls have unstable or underdeveloped cores, making them restless or dangerous.
Meanwhile, Vlad Masters (Plasmius) has been secretly aiding Ra’s al Ghul in the mortal world, providing ectoplasm (which functions as Lazarus water in this universe) to Ra’s, in exchange for the loyalty of Ra’s dead assassins. Vlad’s ultimate goal? To usurp Danny and take the throne of the Infinite Realms for himself.
On the other side of the multiverse, thanos snaps his fingers and 50% of the people turns to dust , Peter Parker and half of humanity has been sucked into the soul stone, they dont die though,It just causes a ripple in the fabric of the multiverse, their souls arrive in the Infinite Realms.
but Peter’s left deeply resentful, confused, and struggling with an unstable core
Someone, either Frostbite or Clockwork, takes notice of Peter’s arrival and brings him to Danny for evaluation. As usual, Danny’s focus is on making sure the new arrivals don’t cause trouble, which is complicated by his deep dislike of paperwork (he’s great at physics and biochem, but don’t ask him about statistics).
Danny is swamped with the paperwork for new arrivals when Peter walks in. His appearance is unexpected—he looks like someone who should have settled, but instead, his core is unsteady and kn the verge of chattering.
Peter’s unhelpful attitude only complicates things further. Danny is immediately concerned.
Peter, a genius by nature, peeks at Danny's paperwork and recognises the problem with Danny's administrative mess and offers a solution. Danny, impressed and possibly a bit desperate, hires Peter on the spot to help with the duties of the Ghost Zone.
As things progress, Peter grows more comfortable in the Ghost Zone, though he’s reluctant to fully settle.
Danny starts offering him more and more outrageous jobs in an attempt to keep Peter nearby and help with his unstable core.
What starts as offering him a simple assistant job escalates into more absurd roles—secretary, concubine, king regent, you name it.
Danny will do anything to keep Peter around because he feels Peter’s the key to fixing the realms—and his heart.
Peter, while impressed by Danny's devotion, is wary of the increasingly bizarre proposals. His love language, however, is acts of service, and he appreciates the lengths Danny is willing to go to help him.
Meanwhile, Tim Drake is trying to blend in with the League of Assassins' ghosts in order to track down clues about Bruce.
He quickly learns that Vlad is controlling the assassins, and, much to his disbelief, Plasmius wants to dethrone Danny.
Tim has access to Danny’s historical records, and after sneaking into the archives (probably under Clockwork’s watchful eye), he realizes that Danny is by far the best leader the Infinite Realms have seen in millennia.
Tim starts to believe in Danny’s leadership—and in his own chance to make a difference.
Tim's plan is an easy two steps:
1. Break the assassins free from Vlad’s control.
2. Go to Danny and explain Vlad’s plans, hoping Danny will be indebted and help him return home to Gotham. But, Tim, ever the tactician, also knows that if he takes down Vlad, he could demand Bruce’s return as part of the bargain.
Tim’s plan goes awry when he’s blasted with ectoplasm during an altercation, which leaves him vulnerable to the strange aura of the realms. His life force begins to drain, and he’s rushed to Frostbite’s domain for care. Panic sets in because his plan isn’t completed, and the pressure causes him to blurt out that he’s come to propose a deal to Danny. But he fumbles the words, not realizing what he’s implying.
The misunderstanding spirals out of control. Tim believes he’s asking Danny for an alliance, but Danny’s court interprets this as Tim proposing marriage. In a frantic attempt to clarify things, Danny blurts out that he’s already in a courtship—with Peter.
Tim, confused but intrigued, takes one look at Peter (the “pretty boy” in question) and casually says, “I don’t mind sharing.”
In the Infinite Realms, relationships of this nature are binding—and the realms themselves interpret Tim’s words as consent to begin the courtship process. Now, Danny is trapped in a situation where, if he doesn't follow through with the courtship (and marriage), his core could shatter, causing the Realms to collapse.
Danny, now trying to keep his new “court” intact, is caught in an increasingly complicated political and personal web. He has to decide his feelings for both Peter and Tim while also trying to maintain control of the Infinite Realms. The Ghost Zone’s stability is at stake, and there’s the looming threat of Vlad’s power grab.
As the stakes get higher, Tim, Peter, and Danny form an unlikely alliance. Tim continues to investigate Vlad’s manipulation of the assassins, and Peter starts to use his genius to help stabilize Danny’s leadership—and potentially help them figure out a way to stop Vlad. And danny? Danny falls hard

When each of his brothers got married (or when Bruce renewed his vows) John Dory dances with each of them for the mother son dance, because they don’t have a mom and he was the closest thing they had to a parent along with Rosiepuff
He never told them he was going to, he just did. He first did it during Bruce’s re-wedding, then with Branch, after that they expected he would do it when Clay or Floyd got married next and he did.
On his own wedding day, he was fully prepared and okay with not doing a mother son dance. But When it came time, Bruce walked up to him and danced with him-Then Branch took over, then Clay, and Floyd. Each of them danced with John Dory just like he did for them (it was VERY emotional)

When I was thinking about the beautiful Broppy Wedding that is hopefully in the near future for us, it made me think of that beautiful drawing of Tamaki and Haruhi in the OHSHC manga. So I decided to take a crack at combining both of them and this is the result.
Tumblr media
Gosh, both of these adorable couples live in my soul rent free 😅😂. I get so giddy when I see cute art of them.
