Honestly, I haven’t a clue. No description on the submission, and I don’t know what they do in the movie. Troll (1986) is a fantasy horror movie.

I weirdly love Troll 1986. Like its not great or anything but I didn't hate it. The sequel however is a whole other can of worms that I'm not gonna get into-

Whenever I'm naming anything, I make sure to look up the name because I'm so scared I'm going to accidentally plagiarize.

obviously people steal things from other people it's one of the oldest tricks in the book but it still always surprises me to learn that people plagiarise because my introduction to the concept was basically being told that if i ever plagiarised anything i would be executed by firing squad and my head would be removed and displayed on a spike outside the walls of the hallowed academic institution i was attending as a warning to others

Troll (1986) would make for kind of an interesting monster catching rpg

it would be fun to see the world expanded on and learn a little more about the various fae creatures in its setting.

plus you would have the best possible reason for the game allowing you to name your character, name stolen by a wizard (this movie had a character named Harry Potter first)

maybe there could even be a vegetarian goblin as a nod to the unrelated Troll 2 piggybacking off its name, or even a man eating plant monster to reference "Troll 3"

January 17, 1986 - Troll is released theatrically in the US.

The horror comedy was directed by John Carl Buechler and produced by Charles Band. It starred Michael Moriarty, Shelley Hack, Sonny Bono, Gary Sandy, June Lockhart, Anne Lockhart, Noah Hathaway and Jenny Beck.

It was filmed at the Stabilimenti Cinematografici Pontini Studios near Rome, Italy. The budget was estimated to cost between $700,000 to $1.1 million and it ended up grossing $5.5 million at the US box office.
