i have a really good memory of a night last year, sitting with my sister at the table in the living room and putting ribbon on gifts while we watched GREMLINS. Also, my mom had left a bunch of gifts that she wrapped, but she can't be bothered to do anything with ribbons anymore. She will usually just give gifts without them, so my sister and I both put ribbons on her stuff too. It was such a fun time to have the hands busy with something productive and creative and to have a good movie on too.

I was hoping it would happen again this year. I didn't really want to ask my sister if she'd join me because she so often declines most things I invite her to do. I started by myself and put on BLACK CHRISTMAS, and she eventually came in and joined me with some stuff she wrapped. After BLACK CHRISTMAS I asked her if she wanted EDWARD SCISSORHANDS or SCROOGED, and she picked SCROOGED. We both ended up finishing right around the time it ended.
