looking at the mirror and seeing that it's still you except it's horrifying. you have gone through so much. endured hardship after hardship. been tossed around by the fates like a toy. and yet you look the same. you have the same eyes. the same face. you are still you. if anyone saw you they wouldn't think anything happened to you at all. there is no noticeable change in anything. so you have to suffer in silence because no one will believe you and even if they did they wouldn't understand how awful it is because they cannot fathom it without evidence. maybe it didn't happen. maybe you are just crazy. it should've changed you, right? you would be someone completely different. but you're not. you are still you it is horrifying.
