I don't know why, but Gregory Maguire just decided to write the sweetest ending for Liir and Trism. Which is odd given how he usually treats his characters

I will never go not insane about Liir basically radicalizing himself, much like Elphaba did, with directly going (or better, flying) against the Emperor aka bitch ass Wizard replacement. And you know I#d go even more insane if there was any chance for an adaptation of "Son of a Witch" with Liir using the same war declaration as Elphaba, with Glinda standing right there and then with Trism and having the biggest flashback of her dear life 😔

I can’t imagine reading the wicked books in real time of publication and waiting 10 years to find out if rain and tip/ozma and 20 years to find out if liir and trism end up together…the slowest book romances to ever romance

#also apologies for tip/ozma naming it was really unclear to me what they even think about their gender at the end of out of oz #the only reason im holding out for a resolution to both of these is that I was a fool and looked at the wiki and #saw that tip/ozma and trism both appear in this series #which is motivating though because I would be distraught if out of oz was the end for both of them

Alright you guys, I need you to do me a favor.

If you've read SOAW or the other Wicked Years books or are going to (please do they're so good and you're missing out on so much) then please read and share some love for @shelltergod 's fic Dragonshell. She worked so hard on it and it's so good and so well written. Cherine writes almost EXACTLY like Gregory Maguire, you could almost mistake it for something he wrote but left out of his work. It's so unfair how this fic doesn't have enough kudos and comments. In my honest opinion I think Cherine is one of the best Wicked fanfic writers we have <3
