Years ago, media houses were aware that the business partners had a number of concerns ranging from financing to booking and appearance fees, as well as making important decisions about their performers, label houses, and label ownership. After feeling deceived by his boyfriend, Ubi, Iyanya departed the label in 2016. Remember how Iyanya and Ubi Franklin dragged one other on social media and radio stations in early 2019 about the events that led to their 2016 split? However, their feud was settled later in the year as they collaborated in the studio with Tekno for some song sessions in December. Iyanya and Ubi Franklin are reuniting today, Sept. 8, 2021, for proper business purposes, according to an official press announcement. RELEASE FROM THE OFFICIAL PRESS It's been 165.6 million seconds, 2.8 million minutes, 46 million hours, 1916 days, 274 weeks, 63 months, and 5 years since the contract binding two resilient and hardworking people that felt the need to give themselves time and flourish independently was resolved.
