I have a question for your au PrimesSparklingsAU, how do you think Starscream, Soundwave, and Shockwave would find out about Alpha and the babies? Well if the three find out at all.

Cause all I can image is, Starscream sneaking in to get blackmail on Sentinel. Then Starscream somehow ends up in Alpha room and Starscream finds, Alpha and the babies.

Imagine. TFP but there was an ancient spirit/deity living in the Star Sabre.

Bee, after the fight at the Omega Lock, can't remember anything that happened after picking up the Star Sabre for the first time. His memories only set back in once he pulls Optimus back up onto the platform.

None of the Autobots discuss it either. The only thing they told him is that he killed Megatron. But they refuse to elaborate beyond "you grabbed the star sabre, jumped down, stabbed Megatron & saved Optimus".

Bee himself is not even aware of the hole in his memories at first. But then Raf starts asking questions about the fight and Bee always answers with the same sentence. "You know... it was a real doozie, but I got... lucky, I guess."

The first time Ratchet hears Bee say that, he flinches violently and then pretends like that is absolutely normal behaviour. No, you did not just see him crunch his incredibly fragile medical equipment. It's always looked like this.

Optimus also starts acting odd towards Bee. He can't quite look him in the eye but keeps observing him from a distance. They've also stopped their philosophical discussions (yes; I'm going to insert my headcanon that Optimus and Bee watch ATLA together and then use it as a jumping off point to discuss Cybertronian philosophy and culture into everything).

None of the bots would admit it, but all of them are doing their best to keep Bee confined to the base. He is barely out on patrol anymore. It gets even worse once they are back on Cybertron because now he doesn't even get out to pick up Raf anymore. He's always kept busy indoors. Not even Smokescreen wants to sneak out with him.

Still, no one wants to answer his questions about what happened at the OmegaLock. He tries to corner Smokescreen and Bulkhead about it because they are the weakest link when it comes to resisting Bee, his shenanigans and questions, but neither of them budge.

And then Bee starts noticing other signs of change. Sometimes, his optics will suddenly just burn brighter. Bright enough to illuminate dark rooms or reflect on metal surfaces around him. Sometimes he is no longer sure that they're really blue.

Then, one night, he has a dream. He is lying somewhere, prone on his belly, unable to move and incredibly tired. It's hard to comprehend anything that's going on. His surroundings are bathed in blue (?) light and he can't see him, but he can feel Optimus being there, incredibly tense as he stands in between Bee and something that's so old it should have dissolved into dust eons ago. Optimus and the thing are talking but he can only gauge snippets of their conversations before something soothes him back into deep recharge. Last thing he hears is Optimus' yelling his name.

Then he wakes up at the entrance of their base, Optimus and Ratchet waiting for him as he returns from a drive. He has no clue where he went. Or why they look at him as if he was a ghost. Until he checks his internal chronometer and realises that the equivalent of a week has passed.

And when he asks what's going on, Optimus just pulls him into a hug and holds him for a long time, not saying anything.

The Doctor should take his companion(s) to Trion at some point in the new series. And they should meet up with an older Turlough. It would be neat I think.

Trying to make a transformers time travel fic and I thought “hmm, I need to learn their units of time.”

Only for that to be inconsistent and I can’t figure out if a Vorn is 1 cybertronian year (83 human years) or something else

And apparently Cycles are referred to as days but has at some point been used to refer to years??? (Does this mean that Transformers One Orion and D16 are only about 50 days old or 50 years old???)

I got another chaotic idea. What if Orion Pax was a Predacon instead? A very impossible statistic that came to life in the wastes and Alpha Trion basically had to disguise the feral Sparkling as a normal Cybertronian. This feat being done with a particular relic belonging to Amalgamous Prime.

Very few know about Orion's true form such as Ratchet who became the Predacon's secret assigned doctor. When it comes to 13 Prime based relics, I can imagine a normal Cybertronian body won't handle more than one. Ensue a near spark attack for Ratchet when a weak freshly Primed Orion passed out on the medic's habsuite floor.

The archivist's Predacon nature handled the strain but it takes quite awhile for Optimus to fully recover. Even more so to handle what sounds like other people in his head. Some are aggressive, some are kind, a few crazy, but overall a sorta friendly peanut gallery. Talking to him or comment about the situation at hand whenever.

It seems stuff is slowly easing up only for the civil war to break out, Team Prime crash lands on Earth and comes into contact with Fowler. Optimus has been doing his best to hide his Predacon nature. Too bad children tend to stir up 'Carrier Cyberbear'/Mama Bear behavior in him.

A trio of human kids definitely gonna make his facade crack.

Predacon!Orion/Optimus is something I've thought about recently (is it because of lovely anons such as yourself and [Not Down On Any Map]? Yes. But also this one Predacon transformation fic I read with a beautiful design for him)

And hey if anyone has thought about ways to introduce one of the original Predacons into the post cataclysm life it's me

Hmm interesting to see how being a prime but also a Predacon this time makes the experience ~funky~ (I wonder if this means he's able to relate more to Onyx Prime rather than being a reincarnation of the mysterious Thirteenth Prime?)

Oh how I've exactly thought about that scenario (the him hiding that Optimus is a bit more different than other cybertronians besides the prime stuff)

This makes me remember how I call him Adoptimus and how much "worse" (read: hilarious and adorable) this habit is now that he's a Predacon.

Trying to do the math of how much time Turlough skipped forward and I'm laughing because it means Planet of Fire would be happening circa 1998ish.

(Malkon was a baby at the end of the war (which TARDIS wiki puts in the 70s) which tracks with Mawdryn Undead taking place in 1983. Malkon's actor was 23ish at the time of filming)

Basically Turlough has to be old enough to be a seen as a vaguely culpable child soldier (although I'm of the camp he was an adult by the time he gets picked up by the doctor, being trapped in a school is just a convenient spot to have him imprisoned) and he's been on earth long enough to be desperate to leave. So that puts the end of the war in the late 70s. There's only so much wiggle room with old enough to be seen as culpable and still young enough looking to pass as a school boy and been passing for several years.

So it's a good thing big finish implies Turlough travels for a long time because he's legitimately going to be 20 years younger than he should be. It would probably work better to have Malkon be 17ish in Planet of Fire and have Turlough be 19ish in Mawdryn Undead and then add lots of TARDIS travel to bridge the gap.

Cartoon: Transformers Prime / Robots in Disguise 2015

Characters: Smokescreen, Knock Out, and Bumblebee, with appearances from numerous other characters (even ones not featured in the cartoons)

Synopsis: An Autobot Elite Guard rookie, a Decepticon medic turned Autobot, and an Autobot scout turned warrior turned street cop - three very different bots with a wide range of stories to tell. And we are going to spend the next year exploring said stories through daily-written drabbles, be they angsty, humorous, gut-punching, or just plain odd! Who doesn’t love a challenge? (2016 to 2017)

Alpha Trion knew that his bodyguard was unhappy in Iacon, and after some time, he decided to ask why.

At first, the young bot was silent, glaring at the ground. But finally he cracked.

He started ranting about how badly he'd wanted to become a warrior and fight for the Autobot cause. About how unimportant he felt to the war effort, being stuck in an old library. When he said this, the young bot's frustration died quickly. Clearly embarrassed, he excused himself.

The old bot left behind sighed. "You are more important than you may think, young one," he murmured.

Still a Youngling

Being born into a world at war, many young bots had been forced to grow up faster than they should've. Smokescreen was no exception. Still, he had yet to lose his youthful exuberance. Plus he had an energetic presence that drove Ratchet up the slagging wall.

And Ratchet wouldn't have had it any other way.

Yes, he was still hard on Smokescreen - the youngling needed some sense to accompany that energy of his. Because if he were to end up dying, or worse, as the result of some rash action... That youthful spirit would be lost forever. And Ratchet would never forgive himself.

Overlooked

"Captain!" one of the Decepticon soldiers called. "We've another Autobot here! He's out, but alive."

"Who is he?" the Decepticon captain demanded, glaring at Alpha Trion.

The old Autobot glanced at the unconscious mech. "…My bodyguard."

"What do you want us to do with him, captain?" the soldier asked.

The captain jerked his firearm impassively. "Toss him with the rest of the prisoners. We have who we need." He smirked at Alpha Trion. "He's not important."

Alpha Trion watched as his young bodyguard was dragged from the Hall of Records. "Never assume what is and is not important."

"Whatever you say, old bot."

i want to watch transformers one again but i feel bad about pirating it cuz i want them to get a next film. but like. i know i'm not gonna buy it on whatever paid for service it's on so my not watching it also doesn't help them right, so pirating would make no difference
