My toxic trait is coming across this crochet pattern for super adorable Husk and Angel crochet plushies that require advanced crocheting skills to make and thinking that I, a person who has never crocheted anything in her life, could totally do this.

So I went out to buy supplies. (So I can put them on my never-ending pile of unfinished diy-projects.)

I mean, you can learn how to do anything from Youtube nowadays, right? How hard can it be? (Apparently very hard because I've been practicing and trying all night yesterday and so far it's not going well.)

Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it.

Look at my new favourite room in my home! 

A few weeks ago I finally gathered enough motivation to clear out the unused guest bedroom, or rather the supposed guest bedroom that was used as the “junkroom” for all the unused and unneeded stuff. 

After completely renovating it with new wallpaper and new Laminat flooring as well as furnishing it with brand new Ikea furniture, including as many Billy shelves as I could fit, this is the end result. My new Manga Room!

I wish I could put all my other books in there as well and call it my private library, but I’m afraid the capacity is already exhausted with my ever growing Manga collection. 

My hundreds of non-Manga-books are still on the main bookcase in my bedroom. I’ve just relocated the ones I’ve had to put in second row already to the now empty living room shelves where my Manga used to be crammed. At least I have lots of new free shelf space for future purchases now! 

As you can see, my cat has made himself at home already too, after scrutinizing every corner of the new room that is.

My latest obsession with Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss has motivated me enough to pick up a pencil again and try my hand at drawing fanart for a hot minute.

This was my attempt at freehand copying from screenshots. I didn't really like the result. Then I decided to turn my pencil sketch into line-art on my old iPad. Now I think it's halfway decent.

I probably won't turn into an artist anytime soon though. 😅

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my beloved cat after 13 wonderful years. I am beyond devastated.

This is still my all-time favourite picture of him, so I thought I'd share it here again to keep his memory alive.

I’m slowly, very slowly, making my way through Pride and Prejudice for the first time ever. And it’s a challenge.

I don’t have a problem with the vocabulary, but damn, Austen’s sentences are so fricking convoluted it gives me a headache. And it’s all tell and no show.

At least this particular hardcover edition is gorgeous.

Not part of my September haul since I ordered the box set from Bookdepository back in late June, the moment it came back in stock. Luckily, this time my order didn’t get cancelled. But the parcel got stuck at customs clearance for almost two months and finally arrived in late August. Now I have all three box sets.

The cookbook I got on a whim this month. Already tabbed all the recipes I wanna try and probably won’t ever actually cook because I suck.

So, I completed my Rainbow High series 2 collection last week. I’m still not a doll collector in general but I just love these.

I’m probably gonna stop there now though. News have been going around about MGA’s plans for upcoming doll releases and I just don’t have the room for more. That windowsill in the picture above is all the display space I have available. Not to mention the amount of €€€ spent on this already...
