i think horror should be gushers candy because the inner liquid could look like blood to fit his theming. and dust should be sour patch kids or sour gummies because the citric acid can be the "dust" covering him!!! and killer,,,, i COULD be basic and just give him peppermint candy since that looks like his soul kinda but im also thinking like maybe a type of chocolate so he can have a vaguely dark colored liquid to take the DT's place. OMG HOT CHOCOLATE!!! that way i can have both the peppermint soul and the chocolate tears (*≧▽≦)

just reread the trickster virus wiki their infection probably wouldn't last long because they have FAR too much negativity in them for the virus to contain but hey since when has that ever stopped me,,,, all this candy talk is making me hungry for chocolate!!!!

Week 42.....

Hello all!

It's been a while, I know, and I'm sorry. I had a busy month and no motivation to write, though the ideas haven't stopped churning.

In fact, I thought to catch up, I'll post a WIP every day until next Wednesday cause I'm coming up nearly a year of these, and I want to keep that timeline!

So for today's wip, it's the start of a new story idea involving selkies and tricksters. Based on a dream I had last night.

Or basically Four Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons AU where they all exist in each other's universe.

How to Train Your Dragon AU: Hiccup entrusts his secret of Toothless with the only people on Berk he trusts; his friends: Rapunzel, daughter of the village healer. Merida, a training shieldmaiden and the only teen that doesn’t pick on Hiccup. And Jack Frost, a young shepherd boy that guards the flock, or what’s left of it.

•°♤°• Read a Zosan fic where every single male (Except for the male Strawhats; compliments here and there) is attracted to Sanji and I'm so here for that. But think, what would happen if this thing happened in the ASL x Sanji or God AU? That would be so fuking funny and hilarious that alot of men are down bad for this beautiful blond cook with blue eyes with muscular legs and a gable waist.

I would also like to add for the God au that before Sanji lost his godly status and life, he placed the inability to all DF users to be unable to swim. This is their punishment because of what the WG did to the gods (Ex: Sabo, Ace, and Luffy).

First: Yeah, Sanji was fucking pissed and absolutely told the Elders and the World Government to get fucked during the void century and wrapped his most prized creations, amalgamations with the god of life, taking the ability to swim away. If they want to fuck with the gods the gods will fuck right back. Sanji was more than giving, he gave far more than he was worshipped which led to his followers always singing their praises to the ocean, so after the void century his followers were distraught to find the fruits, now called devil fruits because if you eat one you have betrayed the ocean, betrayed him. He is a god who forgives easily, you just need to give it back, it only costs your life. His partners had never seen the god so enraged because he used to bestow fruits to those were so utterly devoted to him or his fellow gods. Now? It doesn't matter if all three of his husbands have eaten a fruit, Ace and Sabo were old enough to remember what happened, Luffy might not have been but it doesn't matter, they do not get leeway either. It's probably a really fucking dark joke he makes despite how often he does save them, just grins at them and says he could always get his fruits back if they want to swim so bad. Sabo didn't eat a fruit in this from what I can find so Sabo spears Sanji overboard quite a bit to avoid his brothers.

I did read that fic as well I think? But like could you imagine the crew are meeting the other gods for whatever reason(how much do you think it would fuck with the romance dawn trio if Buggy was a god? Or the Cross Guild and Shanks?) And a lot of the gods and others are just flirting with Sanji. Nothing new, he's a handsome guy. He is married though, he has the marks from his godly spouses claiming him just as they do from him. Buggy is ruffling their hair and avoiding Luffy because he can't play nice with the god of luck and travelers in this life. Buggy looks at Zoro and just goes 'oh no, poor baby' and does nothing to fix his sense of direction because Buggy is a trickster god, tell me otherwise. Sanji is of course used to striking deals with the clown in past lives for the wayward travelers but also Buggy redirects so many gods from Sanji and tells the blond to quit being born pretty and Sanji rolls his eyes.

There's gods left and right grabbing Sanji and Buggy is sending body parts whenever Zoro and Luffy are distracted by some other god of whatever as they plan their assault on the Elders. The crews are fucking weirded out by the sheer godly power in front of them and how close the gods are to each other. Also Mihawk has to be digging deep into himself to find out the weakling of the Roger pirates is the god of luck and travelers and distracting so many gods from his normal waiter from Baratie who is the god of the ocean. Also Buggy keeps riling up Luffy and splitting apart to escape the sun god. Also he distinctly remembers Ace showing off his godly body at Marineford and watches him shoot off with the blond a few times. Sabo, the chief of staff for the revolutionaries for heaven's sake straight up attacks several gods for getting too handsy with his husband. Mihawk calls Shanks later and asks if he knew Buggy was a god like Luffy or Ace and the silence from Shanks on the other end of the denden is very telling as Crocodile is screaming next to him about how many gods there are and the strawhat crew has. This is a true test of will for them.

(I just had to make buggy the god of luck and travelers it's so him I'm not sorry)

Oh yea also in the Bad End Trio AU would Bowser and the Shadow Queen know that Doopliss took Mario's place or are they just assuming he's acting weird? Because I know that the Paper Mario series likes to dumb down characters around doppelgangers or people who are in disguises. Obviously I'm sure Lux would know but what about the others?

I think enough time has passed where I can show the ghosts full name.

Like you mentioned, Bowser originally thinks that Mario is acting weird due to wanting to appeal to Peach, whos also now acting different, however he does eventually find out that this is not the case (as much as that information pisses him off).

The Queen knows as she was specifically told thats the case pretty early on (I'm not sure whether by Beldam or the trickster himself yet, probably Beldam).

I don't really remember myself when the series dumbs down characters like that, the biggest offender I can come up with is Mimi disguising as Merlon at the end of SPM and asking obviously suspicious questions/asking you to hit a suspicious button (i dont 100% remember).

As for the main cast from what I've seen Bowser in these games seems to be slower in catching on than the others but he does eventually get informed on everything.

I don't really want to dumb down characters in my writing but sometime it could be a must.

So yeah, at the beginning not really but with time eventually everyone has an idea of what's the deal with Distra (aka "Mario"), whether it's rough or not.

goro confronts akira who looks smug as always. “ok, kurusu. ive had enough of your bullshit, why do you insist on being such a piece of shit towards sumire and i when we’re all fighting for the same thing? your life is on the life too, and your reality.” like are you stupid or just dumb

akira’s smile, ofc, doesn’t falter. “well, i don’t have ulterior motives for everything, you understand. what you see is what you get with me, isn’t that -“ fist slams into the wall next to him. “cut the crap, kurusu. do you care about winning or not?”

his eyes follow goro’s. “not,” he says w emphasis, “really.” then, “does that surprise you? remember:” voice drops to a whisper, “i’m a dead man either way.”

goro’s head spins. this infuriating guy - what the hell, so he’s basically on maruki’s side? “i saw you in leblanc,” goro says. “i saw your wish. what was it now.... to be a normal, well adjusted student? kind, considerate, honest?” with emphasis. “everything you’re not?”

akira looks angry for a second, and it disappears. he clears his throat. “that must have just,” his voice is noticeably less smooth. “been a lapse in. my judgement.”

“so that’s what you’re after?” goro’s voice rises. “that life? you want his reality?”

“what’s in it for me if i fight for this one?” akira screams. “i was conned out of a good life and, and my plan to save myself failed. this-“ pointing at goro, sumire, their surroundings, “this is just cruel. wont even let me rest, yet bringing me back to show me…” voice lowers, “what… maybe, i could have been.”

goro’s quiet. sumire says from the back, “so dr maruki’s using you.”

“what?”

it clicks. “the same way shido did,” goro says.

akira’s face turns cold. “don’t bring that up.” (he'd thought highly of himself, that he and shido were partners and equals in their arrangement, but ofc he was anything but: just a high school kid that shido could pin his crimes on.)

“it’s true, isn’t it?” goro sneers. “maruki is using you to get under our skin… it's sickening, really, turning our friends against us, just to actualize his horrific reality.”

akira doesn’t say anythjng. goro steps back. “you’re stupid,” akira says coldly, “if you really think we were friends at all.”

as he storms off, sumire says, “i told you it’d be a stupid idea.”

goro grits his teeth. “he’s insufferable.” then, “and unfortunately, a perfect pawn.”

i think it’d be interesting since (canon) goro fights for the true reality bc he doesn’t want to allow himself to be puppeted any longer. meanwhile (swap) akira, the trickster, lets the ends justify the means: since he’s a dead man walking, well, fuck it why not let some version of himself be happy for once.

it also drives a harder wedge in royal trio bc now they have to deal w akira third impostoring before they can get thru the palace. maybe in this au they actually start rescuing the thieves before akira comes around (and we get akira boss fight yayyyyy instead of sumire)

also in this au this means sumire knows that akira died in the engine room which is interesting. will have to thjnk on that more later

Personal skills for the awakening kids

i wish awakening had personal skills SO BAD it's not even funny.

anyway. i thought up some personal skills for the 2nd gen. these are all made within the context of 3h as that's the au that's been swimming about in my head for several weeks hence any reference to those mechanics but pls enjoy :) :)

gee, lucina, how come mum lets YOU bring the overpowered game mechanic to other games--

basically just the engage chain attack feature as lucina there is The Chain Attack Emblem. killassisting killstealing left and right. would serve really well with 3h's love of chunky hp monsters. the weapon durability aspect is kind of incentive to always have her equip falchion (3h regalia should NOT have limited durability and in THIS essay i will--) or a forged training weapon as the damage is fixed.

this probably could transfer to fateswakening where this would proc on top of normal dual strikes, but another option i thought up for her would be the ability to dual strike for anyone as long as the targeted enemy is within her movement range (i.e. she can dual strike without being adjacent to an ally)

owain

i wanted to make the fateswakening trio's skills distinct from their fates counterparts... though i wouldn't be able to use aching blood in a 3h setting anyway as it has no weapon naming feature. truly tragic.

this is probably self-explanatory: owain does extra damage when using any attack that has a name bc He Gets Excited. it would apply to each individual strike rather than the total damage number, and part of me wonders if this would make 3h-astra actually viable.

also, rip to like half the crests in 3h which have this exact effect but separate and worse since they're a non-guaranteed proc. we honour your sacrifice so owain could rise

inigo

3h's authority makes rally skills pretty easy to get, but the fact they only affect one unit means i barely use them and it makes me sad. inigo deserves his funky little rallies and he will GET his funky little rallies.

this skill would also apply to the stat boost from special dance (though not the dance effect itself).

not much else to say. i just think this skill is neat

brady

this is basically the skill stealth, which is otherwise exclusive to the thief/assassin/trickster classes in 3h. it puts the unit at the bottom of the priority list for enemy attacks so they will only be attacked if there are NO other viable targets.

great for a healing brady. i always put him in a support role so this is perfect for me. less great if you want brady to be a combatant as it limits what you can do on enemy phase, but you could still use it to your advantage

i just have this image of enemies seeing a healer on the battlefield, going to attack them, and then being hit by this Stare of Promised Violence that makes them back off and decide to attack,, idk. fucking dedue instead. and brady is sitting here confused bc he didn't do anything (it's just his normal face)

She Will Not Be Knocked Over. armour too strong. 10/10. truly a GET DOWN MR PRESIDENT skill of all time, as she has earned

this skill means she takes the damage but doesn't get movement sealed or debuffed or anything after being hit by a gambit. Not Even The Force Of Ten Dozen Men Charging Will Faze You.

a fateswakening equivalent i considered would be preventing specifically armour-effective damage i.e. from hammers or armourslayers, so they just deal normal damage instead (or, in fates' case, the weapons get hit with the non-effective target debuff).

cynthia

basically a stronger but more situational variant of elise's and flayn's lily's poise. all about protecting the vulnerable, plays into her more sensible (read: comparative to owain) idea of heroism.

i personally like this a lot bc i always always go falcon knight cynthia (it feels better) and cynthia with a healer flavour... mwah.

i'm generally a massive fan of aura skills (i.e. buffs to allies within a certain range of a unit) and this is the type of skill that could definitely save your units after an unfortunate mistake

THE COUNTERPART TO BERUKA'S PERSONAL THAT SELENA SHOULD HAVE HAD. NO I WILL NOT TAKE CRITICISM they did her SOOO dirty with her fates personal--

aside from being perfect personality-wise (she WILL prove she is better than others--), this also syncs well with most classes severa will find herself in. swords are pretty much wholly 1-range weapons, so are usually facing a counterattack, except the levin sword...but nobody is rushing to give her that. (she has a 10% MAG growth in awakening, which is quite literally the lowest available...)

i wanted to name this competitive but apparently that's takumi's personal skill name. so rude of him

local teenager fixates on dragons, more at 6

he's studied dragons + minervikins so hard he knows how to fight beside them in a way that lets them fight to the fullest. also he gets so secretly happy (and it is secret do not tell a soul) to be next to a dragon that he too fights better.

this would apply equally to wyvern units and units that are dragons in non-dragon classes e.g. a mage nah.

the original name of this skill was sudden brevity until i realised brevity does not mean what i clearly thought it did when i wrote it.

an improved version of strong riposte from fates. poor yarne spends so much time wanting to hide on player phase that any damage he is directed to deal is only mediocre, but when enemies attack HIM on ENEMY phase, he's like oh shit gotta survive--

3h's limits on spell learning means this basically has a cap of +10 in the late game, but even that is still mega broken. this skill would serve as a really strong incentive to train his reason/faith in the early game and the extra power you get from learning spells would scale well as you progress further.

now that the meta is out the way, this skill is like when a character (not necessarily a fe one) gets a new skill in a game and there's this super exaggerated powerup sound effect and a victory quote, and you're just like... 'all you learned was how to wear heavier armour' but with THIS skill it's actually VALID

knowledge = power and also justification for laurent joining the cast of fodlan characters found near exclusively in the library

noire

it's a little criminal that awakening wasn't able to give us something that reflects noire's blood and thunder state in combat aside from her crit quotes, so this is what i came up with.

the more she fights, the more BLOOD AND THUNDER she gets.

it makes the most sense that her offense would be the one boosted, and even though she's an archer she can fill a good role as a mixed attacker (i WISH awakening had a shining bow), hence STR/MAG being boosted. i briefly considered SPD, but noire has one of the best base speed growths in the game anyway (before growth inheritance; she's on par with lon'qu and a speed-boon robin, and weirdly only beat out by PANNE with 55 base speed for some reason) so it'd be a little redundant when she already doubles everything

this is based off that odd quirk of nah's where she always forgets she can turn into a dragon. i think of her support with f!morgan all the time, where she spends ages trying to learn how to catch a wyrmslayer and in the end realises it was a wasted effort bc she doesn't even fight in her human form and her dragon arms are too small to do what she learned.

"until engaging in combat" applies to combat initiated with nah on either player OR enemy phase. you'd have to have her avoid combat completely for this skill to build up. it would apply to offensive non-damaging magic e.g. silence, but wouldn't apply to healing, so nah could spend her time doing that.

this is a skill you need to dedicate yourself to using yourself, but in the hypothetical scenario where she's a boss, this skill is absolutely terrifying. especially if you took all the limiters off. it would actually make for a very fun map i think--the best fe maps are those that make you go on the offensive IMO, but that's not exactly what this post is about, so i'll move on.

f!morgan

i've made separate skills for the morgans because their supports are different enough that they feel like different characters to me, even if just slightly. it's why i always like them as twins.

what i wanted with the morgans is a skill that hints at what they were before losing their memory and joining the shepherds. for this one, though she is a wyvern lord in future past 2 she is a malig knight in my heart. they just hadn't yet invented malig knights when they made her. this skill is based on its lvl15 skill, savage blow. (to be clear, the 5 extra damage would also apply after combat).

this is a fun one that's good for crowd control and mopping up large groups of enemies, especially with the existence of 3h canto where you can just swoop out of enemy range after obliterating their movement.

it's a very fitting skill if you have morgan in, say, a wyvern class or even dark flier. but if you put her in a dainty little base pegasus knight class... the image of a fragile little pegasus that will fall to like two axes hunting people down is kind of hilarious. sorry morgy

m!morgan

last but not least, the son himself... likewise to f!morgan, i wanted this skill to reflect who he was before the shepherds. he's a sorcerer in the future past 1, which is why i wanted this skill to be dark magic based. both morgans having skills that debuff enemies is another intentional choice.

it's loosely based upon the -taker skills. this skill isn't as powerful as them (you get less stat per proc and the cap is smaller) but you can gain the boosts without delivering the killing blow and you have more variety in what boosts you can get. morgan tends to be a jack-of-all-trades like robin, so an all-round boost is good for him.

past morgan was probably pretty scary with this, but present morgan without a hint of memory now just goes around Yoinking enemy stats. Morgan Says Teehee Mine Now. as he should :)

Hi, Anon! First of all, thank you very much for enjoying that artwork and for being inspired by it. I really mean it: it means a lot, and I am very happy that you felt vibes from it that got you into a creative mode, so to speak.

I’ll be very honest with you; I am a bit conflicted on this one. Technically, it isn’t a proper AU yet, and with no story attached to it yet I can’t really say that it’s not allowed. However, it’s a very personal piece to us since it’s our anniversary drawing from last year, so I am hesitant to say yes. There is just too much personal meaning put into it, even if it is just a drawing of the boys being creeps.

I don’t like refusing stuff like that and restricting others from creating art, on a lot of levels it feels wrong, but with some drawings I can’t help but feel this way. I hope you don’t take it personally because I really appreciate you even asking me about it. I am very sorry.

Second of all, this is such a good ship! EXACTLY because Ace is like a fox puppy that could get coerced by Fellow to join and help. He would definitely be very useful to him, and the idea of Ace choosing Fellow instead of NRC and his friends is so wrong in a good way! Because the first thought is like, how could you, Ace? But with Fellow’s unique magic and overall, and Ace being prone to breaking rules and easily buying the lifestyle that Fellow is presenting to him, it’s so easy to imagine.

The Fellow + Gidel duo would become a trio, and Ace’s signature card tricks would invite the attention of a lot of fools whose money they would steal… isn’t it romantic?

But also of course, Fellow being a way older partner and Ace being a sly little brat makes their dynamic even more fun. It’s so easy to picture flirtations interactions and even more.

Hmmm, I think it was something similar to cuteness aggression. For some reason, she really really really felt like squeezing it at that exact moment, and lost the interest just as quickly. It happens from time to time, partially because she has less filter around Azul. Idia is not super obsessed with her boobs, but since she herself is pretty flat, big and heavy ones are pretty unusual and spark her interest!

In some rare situations, despite the obvious contradiction to our usual principles, the dom could be penetrated; you know the pose when the guy lies down missionary-style and has his legs lifted up despite his peen penetrating the lady, and the lady basically fucks him like that? Something among those lines. But once again, it’s very hit-or-miss, and I can’t quite explain logically when it works and when it doesn’t. 🤔

I feel like I just made it more confusing that it was before lol so let me say things that I am 100% sure of: boy Riddle would absolutely get destroyed by fem!Floyd, and his entire world would filled with nonsensical ideas about girls needing to be ladies and virgins and wives would be brutally shattered by her acting crudely, suffocating him with her tits, playing with his butt, overstimulating him, and marking him with her fluids. WOOO!! Alright more designs regarding what I’m now going to call the Inkweaver AU, I’ll get into more details about it later on but for now I’m just establishing character designs, story beats, and all that story telling nitty gritty.

For now I leave you all with my latest designs for Bendy, Boris and Alice! Now I know they aren’t technically real “cartoons” considering they’re parodies of irl toons but they’re still getting included because besides the satanic rituals Joey Drew Studios had the a similar fall to that of Fleischer Studios sooo tomato- tomato for the sake of consistency in the story they’ll be considered a real studio.

Anywho, this is Bendy’s design, him Boris and Alice work at a news bureau, “The Daily Drip”, Bendy’s the main editor for the news and runs the shop. Kind of a snappy, snarky, small little business man. He clocks in early and stays in late, he practically lives in his office. He’s not typically well mannered but he means well, just brutally honest.

However be sure to not push his buttons cause he has a very short fuse and an even shorter line of restraint once angered.

This is Boris! He’s the golden heart of the trio and always looking for the latest scoop…of ice cream but also info on any sort of important or jaw dropping mysteries. He presents himself as dimwitted by nature but don’t let this act of naivety fool you, he’s a trickster and uses any source of weakness of his opponents to his advantage. At the end of the day of deceiving people to get the info he needs he’ll slide right back into the studio and drop his notepad of information on Bendy’s desk, head straight to the break room and plop himself onto the couch for some long deserved rest.

Last but certainly not least is our heavenly interviewer Alice, though her halo is no where to be seen her sharp tongue and quick witts will be sure to get you to confess your sins…secrets that is. She’s tasked with going out and interviewing the people affiliated with the latest scandal, and no matter how hard you try to deflect her questions she always manages to ask just the right ones to secure your downfall. How does she do it ? A girl has her ways I suppose…

about your disharmonized heaven au, uh, do you have any details for the megamix story characters? like trey, dieter, eglantine, the gatekeeper trio or the hevven world ones i just find this au very interesent and i will like to see more of it x)

The Gatekeeper Trio are Harmony's (Tibby's Mom) right hand men!

Or well.. sort of. They're actually not allowed to cross the gate that leads to her palace anymore. (Saltwater and Paprika don't have any ill will towards her.) They stalk Joe and Tibby, being the only people who have been able to travel freely between Heaven World and Earth (secrets!!!) They are constantly getting in their way! But.. at least they don't tell Harmony everything :]

I would also like to add they used to babysit Tibby before they got on Harmony's ill side. (Tibby.. doesn't really remember them :[ ) They're concerned about what's going with Harmony, but would, never, counter her.

Trey is an immortal tree that Harmony and Broken Record abandoned long ago, he still guards the entryway to Heaven World despite forgetting a lot of his duties.

He helps fallen Tibby solely due to the fact he has vague memory of his mother! He admits of being a little jealous of Tibby and Yuka (Tap Girl) and expresses a want for change. Tibby promises to take him to Heaven World, and talk to his mom.. even if it makes him nervous.

Egglantine is a hermit who's abandoned society.

Her main role in this AU is being the person willing to take care of "the monster" (my OC the Lost Girl, who is an idol, but was banished) and well.. being a mortal with LOTS of knowledge on Heaven World.

She's obsessed with the Hue Birds, and sort of was "blessed with forbidden knowledge" of Heaven World. She is a unhinged woman, but still just a mortal. She's a total nut, and isolates herself for "the better of other people."

Dieter, Hairold, Donna, and Shep(?) are every day folk! eccentric ones anyway. (Mortals)

These four are just regular ol folk! Their lives have gotten catastrophic since the flow of the world went void! (Pssst, Shep used to live in Heaven World, but he left a long time ago.)

Dieter is the one who helps Tibby and Yuka the most, having.. a car.

Marshal, Cam, and Miss Ribbon

Marshal and Miss Ribbon are twins, and the big siblings to the Chorus Kids (Triplets). Cam is their best friend!!!

Also, spoiler. Crackship territory: Tibby and Marshal both think the other is SUPA COOL.. too cool!!!

Phillip, Betty, Colin, and Bertram

Tibby's friends! They are species RELATED to Harmony and Tibby, but they are not "gods" like they are. (In fact, they're not quite "real", Harmony created them.)

Phillip and Betty are Tibby's age. Colin and Bertram are older than the other three, but Bertram is a "late bloomer". || Bertram treats Tibby like his little brother, which annoys him.

They also all work for Harmony, but they mostly keep this secret from Tibby, until they can't keep quiet anymore.

Boondog

A talking dog pretending to be a magical habitant of Heaven World :] (related to Barista, but they don't talk publicly, as if not to blow Boondog's cover.)

Barista

A wise talking dog! He's always willing to lend a paw, but he's a little trickster for his own amusement. He still runs the Cafe, it's like a secret joint to hang out, and relax from Heaven World's dreariness. :] He does not belong in Heaven World, but he is a beloved old scamp.

He keeps a close eye on Joe, and offers help, but doesn't always announce himself. He doesn't want to do things, for, Joe. If that makes sense.

Also.. he totally stole his wonderful goat :]
