Tim Meredith (Trexel Geistman, Gammon in Trice Forgotten), Ben Meredith (David Seven, Elias Bouchard, Zolph Smith), Jenny Haufek (Hartro Piltz, council speaker in Inexplicables), and Imogen Harris (I. M. O. G. E. N, Helen from Magnus) are crowd funding for G. O. B. L. I. N. S., an audio comedy about local government departments interacting with the fantasy realm. It's entirely independent, created and made by the cast, and they're looking for backers. The pilot is out now and is funny, and with money behind them they can do so much more. Find out more here:

Hello! I adore Trice Forgotten so very much and was wondering if there are any fun facts about the characters or the show that you've never gotten a chance to mention that you'd want to share? Have a great day!

My brain has such bad recall I genuinely cannot remember what fun facts I have/n't shared already ;;

I had a lot of thoughts about this show while on a trip with a friend... a couple of locations that really stuck in my brain were the Peradeniya Royal Botanic Gardens, the Galle Dutch Fort, Sri Dalada Maligawa and Kosgoda Sea Turtle sanctuary. And the humidity while walking around a botanical garden. Gammon's rant about the humidity was definitely based on real English feelings.

I have recently done a relisten to a number of podcasts, mostly Rusty Quill shows, specifically Magnus Archives a while back in preparation for Protocol, then Stellar Firma and now I'm in Trice Forgotten again. Last time I listened to all of these they were broken up by huge portions of time, listened to as days went by between other podcasts and finishing one before I even looked at the others.

So it is absolutely wild to be listening to this seafaring audio drama and hear the dastardly and cutthroat pirate captain of Trexel Geistman. Not an exact match mind you, Merideth does change his voice a bit, but the inflections and general tone are there and now I cannot hear anything but Trexel whenever Gammon speaks, which is making for some wild mental images.

This is just me shouting into the void to get the thoughts out of my head, i doubt anyone who sees this is going to care or be surprised by it at this point.

The whole show everyone talks about how vicious and cruel Anh is and how she likes to maim and torture but then she just walks up to gammon and slits his throat and doesn’t even spare him a second glance and if that doesn’t indicate the pure unbridled rage and hatred she feels towards him I don’t know what will. That method of murder was so simple and non flashy. She was telling him you mean so little to me torturing you is a waste

MASSIVE TRICE FORGOTTEN FINALE SPOILERS

I mean, on a serious note, I grew to somewhat like Gammon. He is a horrible piece of shit, but that moment at the end, where he was dying but the only thing he cared about is whether Alestes is still alive. I don't even know what to feel about that yet. He does care about her, she was extremely important to him, as it seems, but one moment of humanity does not excuse all the abuse towards multiple people, colonisation, murder, pillaging, etc. So he is horrible, but he is still my type of character to really like for Some Reason. A horrible miserable little worm of a man with delusions of grandeur. My blorbo <3

thank you for the question! though, because only Siva & Inez were brought up culturally Christian, I'm going to change it to be "what would the characters be excited to receive as a gift" 🌱

Baker - le crueset casserole in soleil or volcanic

Siva - a new pump for the aquarium, perhaps some big, old, outdated books about snails from a charity shop with some dude's notes written in biro in the margins

Alestes - £100 in gift cards. the kind where you can buy from pretty much any shop or restaurant.

Noor - onsen trip - I'm thinking the kind that's in the mountains, with great food (there are Buddhist ones which are vegan), a view of a magnificent lake, and tall forests

Inez - blacksmithing lessons. hit hot thing hard with heavy thing. but also skill and artistry. (they go because they need a highly specific tool that nobody has invented yet)

Anh - for some reason my first thought was surf board, so I'm sticking with that. 🤙🏼

Gabe - what he asks for is school supplies, which he gets, but someone also gifts him a beautiful blanket, warm and cozy, which he loves
