To All the Boys. . . Always and Forever: Film Adaptation

I was looking forward to this adaptation of the last book in the To All the Boys trilogy by Jenny Han. I did a marathon, watched the first two and then got into this last movie. I loved it! 

Yes, they do change the order of the events and there are subplots that are not fully explored, situations that are not tackled in the film adaptation, but the essence of the story is still there. I loved watching these characters grow. It’s like I’ve written before,  I see these films as separate from the books. I love both versions. I think it’s because I love all these characters so much and the films didn’t change them. The character film version are faithful to their original book version.

It was worth the wait. Now, I’m waiting for Amazon Prime’s series based on Jenny Han’s series The Summer I Turned Pretty. Let’s see how that one goes.
