Unpopular opinion: When Trevor proposed to Floyd and Debra he was actually thinking about Michael and Amenda.

So if you play tennis with Amenda as Trevor. The taunts are gonna be like: “The winner gets to keep Michael” “The winner gets to be Michael’s best friend”.

Why can’t Michael secretly go play darts with Ron and they can talk about “The winner gets to keep Trevor” ?

Imagine visiting strip club with Michael as Trevor then ditching him to go home with a girl, so that he would know how it feels.

Before reunion with his family, Michael would probably just stay there because he doesn’t have better places to go anyway. Then the next day when Trevor returns to the strip club for personal entertainment, he would be surprised to see Michael still leaning over the rail, staring dully at the empty stage.

Trevor: “Why the fxxk are you still here?”

Michael: “Why the fxxk do you bother to come back?”

Also imagine Michael visiting the club after Trevor lives there.

Trevor: “Woah what are you doing sniffing around my home, are you stalking me bro?”

Michael: “Bullshit I’m just here for the show.”

Trevor: “Do you really miss me that much? I mean we only hanged out yesterday, Mr.stalker.”

So after a few exchanges like this, Michael finally gave up the habit and stayed loyal with his wife. Amenda finally got the model husband she wants. All thanks to Trevor. ✅

Also Michael is the only friend Trevor would be bullying like this when he sees them at the club cause Michael really shouldn’t be at the club and Trevor openly hates his hypocrisy of constantly stating how much he loves his family and then going to the strip club while his wife is fxxking a yoga or tennis coach at home. In a way, they are attempting to change each other into a better healthier man and that’s what best friends are for.

I was bored the other day so I had this scenario in my head where Michael thought Trev and Amenda are secretly dating each other (cuz I ship them why else would I be doing this) but in fact they were just playing tennis the whole time. And in my mind they had this arguement while Franklin and Lamar accidentally step in and they sorta start chiming in on this mess as well.

Michael: NOT funny, T! What sort of sick joke is that? You think this is funny? Is my wife on this too? The fuck?

Franklin: Man I always thought you boiz are weird but even I ain’t expecting this shit. Are you guys sharing a wife now?

Lamar: What? Your two old men are sharing a wife now?

Franklin: No Lamar I don’t know if they are sharing a wife and I’ve told you already they ain’t my old men. Seriously though, shit, Trevor, man, what’s this all about?

Trevor: No, it ain’t like that! What’s with all these stupid questions! Can’t you all just take my side for once? Can’t you see that we are finally happy now?

Michael: Take your side? My wife is cheating on me ALL the time, and now she’s having an affair right under my nose, with my old running buddy, who is a freaking psychopath that may or may not kill me one day, and apparently he’s thinking about abducting my family too! How about my side, pal!

Amenda: Oh my god, you are such a hypocrite Michael. I AM the one who’s cheating all the time. You know what, good for you. I guess paying hookers and fucking strippers aren’t considered cheating these days.

Trevor: Stop whining Mikey. I’m starting to think you just don’t want to see me happy at all. We ain’t even doing anything wrong. Just playing tennis together that’s all. That and some other stuffs. I liked her when she was fatter. She’s just too skinny for me now. Ain’t that right Mandy?

Michael: What other stuffs? What the fuck is this? Fuck I’m gonna go grab a shot and when I’m back I’m not sure who I’m gonna kill first, you, myself, or my darling wife. Fuck this shit.

Amenda: That’s right pumpkin. You happy now? Michael? I told you it wasn’t like that you stupid jerk! Screw both of you I’m late for my yoga.

Jimmy: Mom, is Uncle T going to be our new dad?

Amenda: What? No!

Trevor: I wish, kid. You need a real father figure.

Michael: Hello? T? I’m still here? Who let Jimmy in? Is Tracey here too? This is great. Fucking great.

Trevor: What the fuck is wrong with you Michael? You are just jealous cause I can get along with your family now. Mind you, much better than you ever did, sugar tits.

Michael: Stay away from my family, Trevor! Why do you always have to ruin everything? Sure I’ve made mistakes, honest mistakes, then you just have to torture me over it for the fucking eternity don’t you? My god, you are SUCH a sadist!

Trevor: There is nothing honest about your fucking mistakes. I’m the sadist? For real? You left me there alone for ten years. I thought every single person I loved is dead while you are probably out there sipping on some fucking cocktail on a fucking beach and you are calling me the sadist now? God I really wanna rip your fucking heart out right now to see just how dark it can get. Fuck you Michael. Fuck you you treacherous spineless self-absorbed piece of shit!

Michael: I did what I had to do! Do you think I actually have a choice? I’ve got a family to provide! Not that you would understand, cause you are so busy killing people and shoveling them down the drain all the time! Fuck you!

Then they just bicker at each other for as long as they can until they got bored and left for bars to drink themselves to oblivion and put this all behind. Most importantly I got bored and my brain just stopped the simulation.

Trevor x Amenda is realer than real man. She didn’t even deny they slept together. And M and T don’t even have another friend she’s just in denial and shitting over her ex at that point.

About this peyote thing, one thing I’ve observed is whenever Trevor turns into a dog his dialogue centers around how loyalty matters and how well he can fit in a family and he can be an ideal pet and how he can now bite someone(?)

If Michael turns into a dog all he ever talks about is how obsessed he is with testicles (and how Amenda is right about him being a dog).

Just exactly how deep you are in the closet, Mikey?

Trevor is a better fit for female characters with strong confidence while not afraid to embrace their femine sides like Ursula and Patricia. His unruly nature and pursuit of dominance would scare off characters such as Mary-Ann and Amenda who are using dominance as a way of alleviating their insecurities.

（I hadn’t written anything serious for Michael’s character design but I am in a love/hate state with him right now lol. So here is some love and appreciation for Michael De Santa)

Surprisingly even though I consider Michael to be a bad person (uniquely hateable just like every other character in this game), I still appreciate his character design and find him charming in his own way and even will sympathize him in some sense. (I’m sure a lot of ppl feel the same way given that he is a beloved character for the developers and in the fandom) Michael is in constant denial with himself, his life and the world around him. He is living in the clouds, a different era, a glamorized past that ended a long time ago. He wanted to do something for his life but all he get is this mud he dragged himself into. As a result, he is constantly seeking a way out, which is the foundation and drive for all his actions.

He shows genuine care for people close to him, part of it might be an act but there are some undeniably true feelings behind all that. The paradox he is in is that he can sacrifice any relationship for a higher purpose if he finds one. Michael has little attachment to the real world besides his family (he even implied in the family therapy that he will silence Amenda as well if she poses as a threat), such that he can easily sacrifice others even though he did enjoy their company. Ironically, he was designed as the ego, in contrast to Trevor being the id. Because he was too realistic with his motives, sometimes it just appears that there is nothing more than being realistic for the sake of being realistic. His life just lacks purpose, a silhouette drifting in a new world completely alienated to him. Which is why I actually enjoyed the Solomon missions where he finds the meaning of life in making movies, even though it is an outdated dream that is destined to be shattered in the harsh reality of fast food culture and the dehumanization of capitalism.

There is poetry behind Michael’s character, just like Trevor and Franklin. Hating his actions does not mean one cannot be obsessed with him as a person (guilty as charged). Like Trevor said, Michael is uniquely hateable and in this case it’s a genuine compliment.
