YEAH YEAH YEAH. I'm 100% with you on this!! I want to see Matthew show his growth and get some recognition from his brothers.

I *NEED* a scene where Matthew and Declan talk through their fight, then start interacting with each other differently. (Shout out to this phenomenal post by @clotpolesonly --which perfectly describes how I wish Matthew and Declan's conflict would've played out. 👏).

God, my heart breaks, thinking about Matthew walking all that way alone. 🥺

And when he gets back, it's so different.

Parents-but-not-his-parents and brothers who changed as much as he did.

Then, I think it would have been really REALLY cool for Bryde to survive!! He and Matthew could have a cool dynamic swap!!

As Matthew starts feeling a bit jaded and bitter, Bryde is learning that life can just be about living.

The two of them interacting and learning from each other fills me with painful and beautiful hope.

I am determined to something with this concept...Eventually. 😭
