he's balancing playing the comic relief, the heart, and delivering truths bombs left and right.

the way he spoke to fearne, trying to speak her language of mischief as form of comfort and letting out steam though he may not completely understand why she said no to the shard. and when that didn't work giving her space to work it out but asking her to come back.

vs talking to ashton. breaking the image of the fool and talking to him in THAT tone. it's the fucking disappointment, you can hear the rage on behalf of fearne ("you could have HURT fearne!"). telling him to work his shit out but to not bring everyone down with them and if they couldn't do that, then leave.

So much about that damn kiss was great, but I love the way you can see Laura, Matt, Ashley, Talisen, and sorta Travis all brace when Laudna starts with “Obviously I care for you an immense deal…” They were all preparing for the friendzone and you can see visible relief when Laudna instead kisses Imogen again

i still can't help how insane i am over this, like i know, i know, this is the bare minimum, but for dermott to be the one who did it is just sooooooajkslfdjsaklfjaksljkl to me

this is a guy who grew up like 5 min away from me. who didn't take hockey seriously until he was like 14 cause he didn't think he was good enough to make it. who regularly does fundraisers in our hometown, specifically to help out the hosptial because his sister and mom are nurses.

the guy who won the calder cup, just to become a healthy scratch with the leafs and fight tooth and nail to get playing time, the guy who had to deal with not one but two concussions with the canucks last season and play just 11 games, the guy who finally, finally, got the playing time he deserves with the coyotes and then goes out with a big fuck you to the league

I'm just.....gonna be insane about this forever. He wore it almost every game before the ban and i'm so fucking happy he's gonna continue to do so after

If a guy making $800 000 on the fucking yotes can do it, i think the faces of the league can do the same
