lyney: they probably just wanted to put pressure on you-
Traveler: oh yeah, that's also what the Fatui did in mondstadt.
Lyney: well-
Traveler: when they tried to kill dvalin.
Lyney:
Traveler: and then they kicked venti.
Lyney: ...is it just me or-
Traveler: i will never forgive them for kicking venti.
Lyney: -or is the traveler oddly obsessed with mondstadt?
Lynette: no, you're right,
Traveler: and then i didn't even get to kill them myself.
Lyney: oh boy.

I agree with Mustang using the philosopher stone on his eyes (and Havoc on his legs) makes sense for his character and the narrative etc etc.
But also consider this: If he is blind for a little longer than a couple hours he gotta hold hands with Hawkeye 🥺👉👈
#like make him wait for Havoc to get to Central either all the way by car on shit roads. Or by train re-route since the bridge got blown up#I cannot imagine traveling across the country in wheelchair in 1915 would be quick or comfortable. Might take at least some days#and they gotta organise someone to look after the shop before they can leave if his parents both travel with him#verwijder later

#long talk in tags incoming i guess#i don't understand why people keep following me when everything i do is complaining lately#and not about dnp per se. but about how the work is done and how their team *coughs* martyn *coughs* is handling stuff#i'm just looking at all this mess and i can't agree with basically anything#everything goes against my beliefs when it comes to work organisation. customer focus and etc.#and i'm trying SO hard to mildly help for free. and i'm just getting ignored. but that's like.. basic fixing and shit#any decent company would do it and say thank you for noticing and letting us know#but not irl merch lmao#and it all feels and looks like a massive joke#and i'm so so tired to basically pay for existence of this mess#i'm rethinking a lot of tour related decisions i made. and i know the reason i made them was about travelling more than the show itself#so i don't completely regret it#i'm just so tired of being spat in the face (figuratively speaking) over and over again#and tired of no one taking their job seriously ffs#neither martyn nor dnp nor their fucking editors#and i'm doing all that not for attention or whatever. but because I really care for the words to be correct and for the fucking text..#.. to be in the middle. like idc about the credit or WHO i need to ask for it to be fixed. i just want it to be fixed#so it looks good and how it should look#like. it's not that hard to put a little care into the things you do and getting paid for#I don't understand how it became so normalized. how being a bad manager is okay if you work with a fanbase and you're a 'small company'#a small company who has more than enough money to hire people to check things btw. if only anyone cared#i'm just so so tired of caring. because apparently it's not something everyone else does.#and i can let it slide when it comes to dnp. they are not being literally hired to do it. but others..... yeah#today was a moment when i thought 'that's a perfect opportunity to leave. enough.'#but the tour is in 1.5 months and i have tickets so i can't leave lmao#what kind of joke that is? oh and i know i'm fully responsible for this mild breakdown#personal

For the love of all things holy, if you're aromantic and romance-repulsed, try not to go on holiday with friends who are a couple.
You don't know where you're going 90% of the time because they're too busy talking with each other about where they're going and never actually tell you where to go and how you're getting there.
I'm having fun but also just blindly following the blind who seem to talk only to each other and don't actually know what I'm doing until someone says something 20 mins later.
#aromantic#aro-spec#aromantic spectrum#just aro things#arospec#I'm conflicted#on one hand the two people I'm on holiday with are so organised#and this is the first time I've been on holiday with them and I'm enjoying spending time with them#but at the same time#I'm that person who even though they didn’t make the decision on where to go still wants to know exactly where and how to get there#just general anxiety about making sure I'm getting the right transport and going the right way and all that#and the late communication from the other two who only discuss travel amongst themselves and don't inform us till later really bugs me#I'm having fun but also just majorly lost half of the time

Three week trip out of the country is now less than a week away!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I'm sure I'll be fine.
#I've never travelled this long or this far or been this involved in organising it#But! I went to Kathmandu the other day and got a puffer jacket just in case it gets cold!#Which is likely in some parts of the American southwest in spring#So I'm all set! (I might also have to pack some other things)#edit: Kathmandu is a shop that sells outdoorswear I did not go all the way to Nepal in order to get clothes to go all the way to America in

really wanna go on holiday with my beloved partner but that does mean we need to scare up £700 RIGHT NOW to pay for the hotels and travel
do we, between us, have £700 spread between now and July? more or less yeah like. Enough so that we can go on holiday without having to live on rice and tins for the next few months.
do I, individually, have £700 IN MY CURRENT ACCOUNT to give to some hotels RIGHT NOW? hmmmmmmmm. possibly not so much. can put £100 on my credit card but that requires me splitting up purchases suboptimally. don't have an overdraft. don't want to take more than I have to out of my ISA bc I can only put £150 a month back in.
I am 30 and this is literally the first time in my life I've tried to book like. a proper grownup holiday as opposed to a sleeping-on-sofas or four-to-a-double-hotel-room thing. living the lifestyles of the wealthy and elite is hard, man.
truly being tenuously financially middle class for the first time in my adult life is the greatest struggle man has ever known, my gold shoes are too tight and once I pay the mortgage on my 60 bedroom palace I barely have any money left for fripperies. I'm starving in the streets like an MP who can't afford to NOT take bribes.
#red said#spoilt brat posting baybeeeeee#the thing is this is the first holiday Sam and i are going on together in 11.5 years of dating#and i want it to be NICE we're going to WALK IN THE PEAK DISTRICT and GO ON ROLLERCOASTERS and EXPLORE MANCHESTER#but holy shit travel is expensive when you travel like a human adult and not some sort of Poverty Gremlin Who Will Sleep Under Your Bed#also to be clear i CAN afford this. if i couldn't we wouldn't be doing it#this isn't actually an OH NO HOW WILL I DO THIS#it's just a how will i organise doing this in a minimally disruptive way#like the less i can end up pulling from my ISA the better
