Kim Rok Soo with scars on his face but no smile lines or stress wrinkles. Kim Rok Soo who keeps his hands in his pockets because of the ugly breakage and dense callouses. Kim Rok Soo who always wears long sleeves. Kim Rok Soo who has never revealed to anyone in his team the extent of his scars. Kim Rok Soo who hides bandages under his clothes and wears all black so that if a bloodstain makes it through, it won’t be visible. Kim Rok Soo who works hard to hide anything scary about his appearance.
Kim Rok Soo who becomes Cale Henituse and assumes that no one will care now that he’s gone from the company.
Cale Henituse who has a young soft face. Cale Henituse who keeps his hands at his sides and he has to remind himself not to hide them because there’s nothing to hide anymore. Cale Henituse who still wears long sleeves but can roll them up or unbutton his shirt. Cale Henituse who has no scars to hide. Cale Henituse who starts off wearing colors and clean white like a noble but wears the black uniform during battles because he knows it hides blood well, blood that will probably be his own. Cale Henituse who finds it easier to hide the scars of his past than physical scars.
Cale Henituse who has a new freedom with his body, because now the pain is internal and he can wipe off the blood from his lip without visible reminders to burden his companions.
Cale Henituse who feels fine but his complexion is pale and his body is thin.
Kim Rok Soo who is strong but he hides his wounds and the past painted onto his skin under dark clothing.
The person who hurts because he cares.
The person who hides because he cares.
The person who hides and hurts but can’t see when other people care for him behind the walls he’s built up.
Kim Rok Soo.
Cale Henituse.
Cold-blooded leader.
Young Master Silver Shield.
The same bleeding heart, two sides of one coin.

Just another day of geeking over TCF, remembering that the generic prince charming who we got introduced to at the beginning of the story got to shoot the main villain in the face with a gun, wore PJs to the final battle because he forgot to put on armor, and became a gaming addict to the equivalent of an MMORPG/Empire Minecraft server

need beacrox to have a dream about being the cook at the restaurant where kim rok soo was a part timer
to keep having dreams about this skinny teenager that reminds him so much of someone he knows
this orphan that lives such a lonely life but shows up to work on time always and does his duties diligently despite how weak he looks
he never buys or brings any food with him to work either. so he starts just feeding the kid, 'kim rok soo' whenever he can. sends him home with leftovers and makes him eat during his breaks
in return kim rok soo starts helping him out in the kitchen. he's not amazing, but he learns fast and soon enough he's able to pick up a few kitchen shifts
beacrox notices the kid studying between customers one day and asks what he wants to do
kid tells him without hesitation, not looking up from his studies
'I wanna be a slacker'
and it makes becroix laugh. because he immediately thinks of a certain young master who claims he wants to be a slacker while working himself to death as well
the dream ends when that world itself seems to end, the restaurant itself being crushed
the ending point is specifically when he pushes that scrawny kid out of the way from the roof caving in
he gets the funniest feeling seeing that kid again, just a little older, replacing his young master when he joins him on a trip to another world
the funniest

“Hey Dongsaeng, do you by chance want to be the Prime Minister?” “…….” Cale looked at Alberu with a gaze that made it seem as if he truly had been wronged. It was Alberu’s turn to flinch. Cale’s complexion looked good since his return from the Central Plains, but seeing this extremely hurt gaze tugged at his heart. “…That was so mean of me.” Alberu apologized and Cale happily accepted it. “Yes, your highness. That was too much.”

TCF PART 2 SPOILERS
Cale being an incredibly intelligent strategist and leader: Everyone else: Wow, I wonder what he thinks about... Inside Cale's mind: With the team leader, anything is possible. Even going from Endable all the way to Roan as a freshly reincarnated baby.

Starting to re-read TCF and I noticed how every time Cale earns an ancient power, he starts calling them out like “how annoying/I wouldn’t do that”, and etc. HOWEVER, he never says anything about the Super rock because they are the same!!!! (At least until this part below 😂😭)

The White Star learns that Cale Henituse transmigrated from a body that he stole. He learns that the person inside Cale Henituse lived with the same curse that the White Star has to.
“Cale Henituse,” the White Star sneers, “or should I address the person inside of Cale Henituse?” Cale stiffens. What is this crazy bastard saying now?
“Yes, the man inside of Cale Henituse. How did my curse feel?” He shouldn’t know this information, but he does, Cale realizes. He has an informant on a god’s level. Raon flinches at these words, and Choi Han levels a deadly stare at the White Star. Oddly, Cale thinks, the blood draining from his face, it feels like he’s glaring at him. Cale doesn’t know why but it feels like he made a mistake somewhere down the line.
“You know the one. I’m sure all of your friends do too at this point as well. Was it fun? You must’ve lost your parents, or even been abandoned? Abused? Did everyone you care about die in a horrible accident?” Cale struggles against the sparking Records, trying to keep his mind on the White Star. In a way, Cale has experienced it all.
The past is the past.
“Raon, he’s stalling.” Cale whispers as quietly as he can, and Raon silently sends out the message to everyone. They need to be prepared. The White Star wouldn’t reveal this knowledge for no reason.
“Cale Henituse, you lived terribly, didn’t you? Yes, you must’ve been pathetic. No wonder you’re like this… You cling onto everyone you know but keep them at arms length, never daring to let the little bug within you know what counts as love, and what counts as use.” The White Star drifts closer, threateningly, and everyone flinches into position. Their eyes are shaking.
“You whiny bitch.” The White Star flinches, pausing in the air. “Do you think that’s how I lived? Is that how you see my actions?” Cale scoffs in disgust.
He’s wrong.
I took everything I could until everyone was gone.
I was selfish.
“We are nothing alike. We are not the same. You may be a disgusting liar, but at least I’m honest trash.”
I barely care about anything because it was always taken away. I don’t care about things because I don’t remember how.
“White Star, do you know what the difference between us is?”
Two similar existences stare at each other.
“Cale Henituse, stop rambling,” the White Star frowns.
Cale rushes at the White Star suddenly, grabbing onto his arm. Before he can shake him off, Cale whispers.
“I’ll tell it to you as a secret.”
Confident as ever, the White Star humors him. Cale whispers even quieter.
“You knew how to care before you chose to lose everything…”
“… While I never had the chance.”
An explosion erupts from their location.
Cale coughs up blood, smiling at the dour expression of his enemy.
“You throw everything away, but I hold everything as close as I’m allowed. As close as I’ve ever able to hold anything.”
Cale drops his expression, glaring up at the disgusting person in front of him.
“Just out of arms reach.”
The White Star launches an attack, and the fight begins again.

The best summary of TCF
Priest: Death awaits you at the bottom.
Cale potentially dying: Great. Let's go.
Choi Han walking behind them: ...
What Choi Han probably thinks: What the fuck, Cale-nim! No!
