i don't really know why or when we stopped calling them "twerfs" (trans women exterminatory radical feminists) instead of "terfs" (trans exclusionary radical feminists) because i think the former is far more descriptive and articulate. like this isn't a rhetorical question or snark I just am like lost as to when we either were forced to make that rhetorical concession to the transmisogynists or we decided it wasn't strategically effective or what. like the issue at hand isn't about "exclusion" or "transphobia" it is at its core the material reality that this is a political project predicated on the violent and systematic eradication of transgender women.
