Transformers RID01/Car Robots expansion idea

This is an expansion of the Transformers Car Robots/Robots In Disguise 2001 cartoon (because it deserves more attention). This includes some elements from the Universe audio story where Optimus is female, the Maximals in some form (as the Predacons are the main bad guys in the show), and an alternate and more honorable version of the show’s take on what would become the infamous Nemesis Prime archetype: Scourge.

Basically, everything is the same until the Omega Prime (Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus combination) and Scourge reveals. Here, the three are actually the same person: Omega Prime (formerly known as Invictus), but because of the spark’s immense power and potential, it was split into triplets (twin brothers of light: Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus and brother of darkness: Scourge).

Optimus and Magnus are more or less identical to their initial RID01/Car Robots interpretations, while Scourge is more of a morally conflicted anti-hero. He is violent and fierce, but still has a sense of honor, which ultimately makes him do what he does for the greater good of everyone. This is ultimately what frees him from Decepticon/Predacon control after being brainwashed.

Scourge was captured and brainwashed into becoming a Decepticon, being legally pronounced dead until his debut. In episode 32, Omega Prime realizes just how depraved Megatron is here (using a clone of himself as a test subject) and tries to kill him, only to be nearly killed himself. Scourge successfully saves him, killing Megatron, but also nearly dies and as a result, the three are forced to 1: go through the Beast upgrade to become a Maximal to save them and 2: become one individual again.

The fusion gives our hero two forms: A form with a bat mode (ala Convobat) (Noxis mode) and a form with a phoenix mode (Igneus mode). The process makes our hero female, but she doesn’t care as long as she’s still the same hero at heart (which is very important imo if you’re gonna swap roles, genders, etc). Megatron’s clone takes his place and is admittedly even worse than her “father���.

The Autobot leader retains the Optimus Prime name despite her change, having grown very attached to it. Though she is legally classified as Invictus Prime, she responds to Optimus a vast majority of the time, as that's the name she's grown much accustomed to. Megatron's clone is Galva-Empress and is a massive Predacon with a dragon mode and demonic motif. She is much more unhinged, resulting in her becoming the ONLY antagonist in the story.

Megatron believes that Orion Pax and Optimus Prime are different people, so he has no problem hurting whatever crawled out of that hole.

Optimus Prime knows that D-16 and Megatron are the same person, so he will never stop believing that he can be redeemed.
