The first one of many
for @stevieweek Day 4: Special Outfit + first dress + fantasy and for @steddiemicrofic "one" G | 1111 | no cw | ren-faire, pre-relationship, transfem Stevie, smitten Eddie | Ao3 Stevie Week: Day 1 | Day 2 (art) | Day 3 (art) | Day 4 | Day 5 | Day 6 | Day 7
"Do you like this one?"
Eddie appears by her side so abruptly, she jumps out of her skin. He smiles apologetically.
"Sorry," he says, but doesn't let himself be distracted. He reaches out to touch the sleeve of the dress Stevie's been eyeing.
It's yellow and white, with a floral pattern and a square neckline. The sleeves are slightly puffy, and the corset can be laced on the front for adjustment. It's one of the flashier ones at the stall, but Eddie wouldn't expect anything less from the girl standing next to him.
He's still surprised she agreed to come with them, to for a few days taste and touch the world her friends love so much. She told him earlier, that she liked everyone's costumes, but it's the first time anything has captured her attention like this.
"Do you want to try it on?" he asks.
"No, that's okay." She shakes her head immediately, but he won't be having it.
"Come on, we're here to have fun, all of us. And if trying on dresses is fun for you, then let's do it!" he encourages her, putting his infectious enthusiasm into the words.
She's still hesitant, but he can tell the garment in front of them is like a siren's call.
"I don't know..."
Dustin bumps into them while eyeing some of the leatherwork displayed nearby, and Eddie holds his breath, hoping it's one of these times his lack of filter is helpful. The boy looks at his friends and the garment they're facing.
"You guys buying a dress?"
"No," says Stevie.
"Maybe," says Eddie.
Dustin studies the dress with his judgmental eyes, gaze darting from it to Stevie and back again.
"You should at least try it. It's your color," he says, before walking away.
Eddie turns to his friend triumphantly.
"Well?" he grins. He can see in her eyes that she wants to but is having a hard time admitting it.
"I guess?" she says eventually. "I mean, it's just for fun, right?"
"Of course!" Eddie quickly flags down the seller, before she can change her mind. "Excuse me, good sir! Is there somewhere we can try it on?"
Which ends up with them ushered to the back of the stall, with instructions on how to operate all of the dress's clasps and lacings.
"I'll wait here. Tell me if you need any help," Eddie says before pushing his friend behind the partition, dress in her hand.
He can hear the rustle of fabric behind the heavy curtain, Stevie's clothes dropping heavily to the grass beneath while he's doing his best not to think about her undressing. She's cursing and huffing while pulling on the new dress and it helps to quell his nasty thoughts a bit. And then everything goes silent.
"Stevie?" He frowns. "You alright there?"
"Yeah," she answers, but it's so tiny he can barely hear it.
"Can I come in?"
"Uh-huh."
He pushes the edge of the green fabric aside and slips inside the little alcove. In the tight space, Stevie is staring in a full-body mirror, hands smoothing down her hips, pulling her hair forward, pushing up her breasts.
Eddie finds himself enchanted by her, not for the first time.
"You look beautiful," he says.
"You think so?"
"Yeah. Though, your corset lacing needs some practice." She huffs at that. "Can I?"
The way she turns to face him, full of trust, makes his heart melt and slide down his ribs.
Delicately and trying not to touch her chest, like a true gentleman, he unlaces the corset to tighten it at the waist. Her gasp makes him bite his lip painfully.
"Sorry."
"No, it's fine. You can go a bit tighter."
They work together until her waist and hips make a beautiful curve, and her tiny breasts are pushed up in a flattering way. She seems to be especially fixated on them, on the bit of skin peeking out from the low neckline.
Eddie can share that sentiment.
"Thank you," she whispers once she's facing the mirror again, fingers tracing the newfound shape of her body.
"There's nothing to thank me for, you're just naturally beautiful." Eddie smiles, reaching out to tug her hair forward again, so it falls against the bare skin of her collarbones. The sight makes his mouth go dry so he decides to move his thoughts elsewhere. "I think it's the first time I've seen you in a dress."
Stevie hums.
"That's because I don't have one."
"Huh?"
"I've tried on Nancy's or my mother's, but I don't have one of my own," she clarifies with a shrug.
"That's unthinkable," Eddie declares. "We're getting it." The thought that her first dress could be a nerdy, ren-faire one, makes his stomach flip.
"It's too expensive." She shakes her head, but he can see she's sad about it. "I can get a dress at the mall for a third of this price."
Eddie nods along.
"Yes, you could get a cheap, boring rat mall dress," he agrees. "Or you could buy one of a kind, handmade with passion and care, worthy of a princess."
Watching her cheeks flush is worth the risk of exposing his feelings.
"Where would I even wear it?" she keeps digging her heels in the ground. And, while she has a point...
"Here, for starters. And any other ren-faire I'll take you to just so I can show off how pretty you are."
With the way she looks up at him, she might already know.
He just hopes he has enough money. He pulls out his wallet and Stevie frowns.
"You're not getting it for me."
"Oh, I am." He hopes he is, at least. In a rush of bravery, he smiles to add, "Consider it my first courting gift," and leaves before she can protest.
When he's counting his money and wonders who he can beg for a loan, Dustin approaches him with a wad of cash.
"I saw the price earlier and figured you guys could need it." He smiles with that self-satisfied smirk of his, but for once, Eddie doesn't mind.
He hands the money to the merchant and runs back to Stevie.
"Hey, does it count as a courting gift if the twerps pitched in?" he asks through the partition and is promptly pulled inside.
"Are you serious about the courting?" Stevie asks, with her face so close to Eddie's, he has trouble processing her words.
"Deadly," he whispers, hoping they're on the same page.
"Is there, like, a nerdy ritual I have to follow for it?" she asks.
"Uh, a kiss would be nice," he says. Pleads.
She smiles and leans in.

for some reason any time I see Stevie art I think of that one TikTok audio that’s like “oh she’s pretty but look at her hip dips- SHUT UPPPP LOOK CLOSELY, REALLY CLOSELY, THERE’S A BONE AND IF THE SKIN GOES ON THE BONE THEN THERES GONNA BE A DIP CAUSE THERE’S A DIP IN THE BONE” and that’s just me every time. Like that’s my WIFE and she may not be real but I love her fictional tummy and her fictional thighs and her fictional hair and her fictional hands and and and and

🏳️‍⚧️ Trans Tuesdays 🏳️‍⚧️
FtM Robin (platonic stobin + MtF Stevie + side steddie + Eddie being the definition of "guy")
It took a while to get here, but he’s here now, happy in his identity.
Robin had no idea, for a long time, that he was a dude. It only took Stevie figuring it out about herself for things to click in place for Robin.
Maybe it was like, destiny or some shit that they worked together that hopeless summer. Maybe they were just supposed to end up drugged out of their minds on that bathroom floor. They’re totally each other's soulmates, and now they’re even closer.
It’s like they have shared experiences now, each living as both a dude and a chick. They just… got each other. Besides, it’s cool having a gender guru, guide you through your transition. Like, Stevie’s giving him tips on how to talk and walk like a dude, or at least how she used to in highschool, which seemed palatable enough in Hawkins. And Robin gets to teach Stevie stuff too, like the best remedies for periods (because she fucking gets those now, like, without the blood, which is wild), and how bra sizing works because that shit is actually confusing at first.
It’s also awesome because they totally got to just swap half their wardrobes. Like, Robin had been meaning to get rid of a bunch of those dresses his mom got him for ages, and Stevie can just take them. And Robin got to raid Stevies wardrobe and feel totally euphoric trying on all her old clothes because not only did he look like a guy, he also smelt like one.
Robin got to teach Stevie how to shave her legs properly, to get them all smooth and shit, and Stevie got to teach Robin how to get his hair sitting so fucking nice in a masculine way. Ferrah Fawcet is a lifesaver, actually.
Everything about being trans has been awesome so far- like, apart from the fear of smalltown transphobia, but like, the feelings. It’s just been euphoria hit after euphoria hit once he finally opened up and expressed his feelings to Stevie.
That was a really revealing conversation. And it’s been nice, getting to hide away with Stevie for a little while, figuring themselves out.
Robin likes to bind, it looks good and feels good, but it’s kind of painful. Which is why living with Stevie feels so good, because he doesn’t have to bind around her to feel validated. He doesn’t feel the need to look or act a certain way around her to pass.
Things changed when Eddie came over for the first time.
It’s not like he could just say no when Stevie asked to have Eddie over. He knows they have a thing going on, and they haven’t seen eachother in two weeks, Stevies having withdrawals. It’s just… a new person. Robin hasn’t been a dude around anyone other than Stevie yet.
He doesn’t want to be a girl again for the afternoon.
He’s shocked when Eddie walks in, shooting finger guns at him and says, “Hey dude, nice haircut- jeez, it smells good in here, is that a cheese melt?”
Robin ran a hand through his hair nervously, glancing over at Stevie, who just shrugged before walking over to say hi to Eddie.
Eddie embraced her, tight, giving her a little kiss on the cheek that had her blushing before turning back to the cheese melt.
“My god, I fucking love cheese melts.”
“You can have it.” Stevie offered.
“You’re the best thing that ever happened to me, babe.” He muttered, stuffing his face full before moving to the fridge to make a replacement cheese melt, “I haven't eaten all day, and work was crazy busy today. Anyway, what are you nerds up to?”
“Just hanging out.” Stevie muttered.
“Waiting around for me?” He grinned up at her, biting into his sandwich.
Stevie rolled her eyes and shrugged, “We were… actually just fucking around a bit. Trying out some makeup on me… and… stuff.”
“Oh, stuff huh?” He smirked, whacking the cheese sandwich on the press.
“Yeah, stuff.” Stevie smiled, glancing over at Robin.
Eddie looked over to him, “So….” He said, giving him a once over, “Is this like a lesbian phase thing, or are you a dude?”
“Ed’s!” Stevie scolded.
“You got a problem, Munson?”
“Obviously not.” He scoffed, pointing a thumb over at Stevie before continuing to munch on his cheese melt, “I’m head over heels for her and you think I have a problem with transsexuals? Dude, my uncle was like, the first trans dude in Hawkins, I think.”
“What?” Stevie and Robin both asked in sync.
He shrugged, turning the sandwich press off before it burnt the bread, “Well, maybe not. But as far as he’s concerned, you know? Why do you think he doesn’t give a shit about me and Stevie- oh, I know how to draw beards on real good.”
“Why do you know that?” Stevie asked.
“I wanted to look like an adult when I was ten so I could run away and get a job.” Eddie said so nonchalant, “My dad was a dick and said I couldn’t be gay and have a good future. Total arsehole. Look at me now, dad, bisexual and a full time drug dealer. Fuck. you.”
Robin grinned, “Can you teach me the beard thing?”
“Sure thing, man.” He smiled, cutting the fresh cheese melt up for Stevie and plating it for her, “So does this mean you’re like, straight now, or?”
Robin froze, looking over to Stevie, who was also struck with a baffled expression as Eddie pottered around the kitchen, unbeknownst to their panic.
“Fuck, I’m straight!” He shouted, and Stevie burst out laughing.

Trans is fine, but you better not be a Swiftie!
For @subeddieweek Day 5 | T | 1502 | cw: hinted transphobia | transfem Steve, PDA, rockstar Eddie, jealousy, possesive Stevie, bitchy Stevie | Ao3 Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 | Day 5 | Day 6 | Day 7 | Ao3
Tumblr media
It took the whole of Corroded Coffin to convince her to go to the concert. It may make her sound like an unsupportive girlfriend, but she hasn't been to any of their gigs in months. Eddie never complained about it, aware that metal concerts aren't for everyone, even if they do like the music. She's also hit a weird stage in her transition when she didn't feel like going to public events.
But here she was, at their first solo concert, no festival to crutch on. In the newest band t-shirt, one she saw through every stage of designing, her tits barely making a dent (Eddie had a different opinion on that topic), while two skanks next to her had her cleavages on full display in their tiny cut-up t-shirts.
They were in the VIP lounge, waiting for the band to emerge from backstage. Stevie could have been there with them, but the rush and heat behind a concert like this gave her a worse headache than the actual music. So instead, she had to sit there with two textbook examples of a groupie. And one of them looked meaner than Carol, back from high school, when she didn't get her chocolate pudding.
"You sure you're in the right place?" one of them finally speaks up.
Stevie looks pointedly at her band t-shirt.
"Is this not a Taylor Swift concert?" she asks, eyes going wide. The second girl presses her lips, holding back a laugh. The first one narrows her eyes, though.
"Don't sass me, girlie, you know what I mean," she hisses. "Wearing plain jeans and a hoodie to meet Eddie Munson? That's so disrespectful."
Stevie wouldn't call her jeans plain. They were expensive mom-cut and made her ass look good. The girl didn't need to know she treated them like a premium version of sweatpants. And the hoodie was Eddie's. He gave it to her before going on stage tonight.
She shrugs off her words.
"I don't think he'll mind."
The girl scoffs.
"Oh, he's too nice to say anything, but he'll know you're a poser. Who goes to a metal concert dressed like that? He'd never go for you."
Stevie raises her eyebrows, taken aback.
"Excuse me?"
"Excuse you," the girl barks back, nonsensically. Her friend touches her arm as if giving her a sign to back dial it down, but she either doesn't notice or chooses to ignore her. "You don't look like you're here for the music, hell, you probably can't name a single song!"
(Stevie named some of them herself.)
"So you must be here for Eddie," she concludes with a sneer.
"Well, I am here for him," Stevie deadpans truthfully. This seems to further fuel her VIP lounge companion.
"Keep dreaming. He's into real metalheads," she says haughtily, popping the collar of her battle vest. It's so cartoonish it takes everything from Stevie not to burst out laughing. "What do you even listen to? Country?"
"Taylor Swift, I already told you."
"See, Eddie hates normies like you. Swifties are so fucking mainstream, you'll just embarrass yourself. Maybe you should go," she suggests with a pointed look.
Stevie gives her a pitying smile back. Clearly, she wasn't as big of a fan as she claimed to be if she hadn't seen the photos of Eddie in official Taylor Swift merch that were trending just a couple of months ago.
"Eddie's looking for someone real, not a fake bitch like you."
She was going to play nice, but that was taking it too far. She felt her hackles rise and her face turned into a frown.
But before she could say anything, the second girl slapped her friend on the chest.
"What the fuck, dude?! You can't just say shit like that!"
"Like what?!" She slaps her back. "Do you think she actually cares about their music? She screams fake pop shit!" She throws her hand back, motioning at Stevie.
Who was too taken aback to react at this point.
"Fuck, I thought you were being transphobic." The girl lets out a nervous laugh. "Sorry."
"What?" The first girl takes a glance back at Stevie like she hasn't noticed before. It was kind of flattering, considering she wasn't that far in her transition, but she wouldn't take an idiot's oversight as a compliment. "I don't care about that! Mainstream music is a bigger sin than being transgender!"
"I'll drink to that."
The band chose this moment to appear at the steps to the lounge, Eddie raising the water bottle in his hand in a mock cheer.
"Eddie!" The two girls stand up in unison, and it takes all of Stephanie's willpower not to roll her eyes. Instead, she gives a wry smile to Jeff, who seems to be in a similar state of mind.
"We're here too, you know," he murmurs under his breath.
Gareth nudges his arm.
"Well, I'm glad they're not here for me," he whispers back.
Stevie snorts after hearing that, but the girls are none the wiser, too preoccupied with their beloved frontman.
"Hello ladies, hope you didn't wait too long," he greets them, accepting their enthusiastic hugs and letting them kiss his cheek.
Stevie keeps her face carefully neutral.
"It's okay, we know you're exhausted after the concert." The first girl smiles sweetly at him, and it's becoming increasingly difficult for Stevie not to gag at the shift in attitude. "I'd wait the whole night to meet you." She might need a bucket right now.
Eddie laughs nervously, taking a step back to put some distance between them.
"Ashley and Xena, right?" he asks.
"I'm Xena!" The girl exclaims, clearly proud of her unusual name. Stevie does roll her eyes this time.
Gareth appears in front of her, snickering, and she punches him softly in the thigh before raising the same fist to fist bump him. He offers her the tray of cookies he picked up from the table.
"Hi. How are you doing?"
"I'm fine." She shrugs and picks up one of the cookies. "Thanks."
He nods and retreats to one of the couches. There are three of them, set up in a triangle around a table with snacks and drinks. Which is very convenient, making Stevie think Chrissy has planned it out.
"You already know them, but it's rude not to introduce my friend." Eddie grins, making room for the rest of the band to properly greet the fans. "This is Jeff, Gareth, and Grizzly the Teddy-bear. He gives the best hugs," he says with a grin. Ted rolls his eyes.
"Just Ted is fine. But I do give the best hugs." He grins.
Eddie leaves them to it and finally goes to sit next to his girlfriend, throwing his arms over the back of the sofa and sinking into the cushions.
"I'm so tired," he groans.
"Too tired to greet me properly?" she asks with a raised eyebrow. She can feel the eyes of the other girls on them.
"Never." Eddie raises his head immediately. "Sorry, baby." He leans in to kiss her on the cheek, but she moves her head away.
"I said properly," she repeats, but her tone shifts into her more authoritative one. He hesitates for a millisecond, but his eyes don't even shift away to look at their surroundings. Stevie enjoys the power trip, seeing him uncaring of who's looking and where they are.
"Of course, sorry," he amends, straightening up to go in for a proper kiss.
He lets out a surprised whimper when she dominates it immediately, grasping his chin and claiming his mouth like she's been starving for it throughout the whole concert. Eddie goes limp in her grasp, but she wants to make it clear who he belongs to. She grabs his knee possessively, angling him even more towards her, and her other hand moves from his chin to his hair. His locks are damp with sweat after the concert, but she doesn't mind, because it's exactly how she likes him. Dirty, unkempt, falling apart under her hands.
She tugs at his hair, messing further the haphazard bun he's tied it into. He sighs, melting further into her, and it makes it easier to grasp his thighs and pull him into her lap. They finally part with a wet smack, and she can look into her boyfriend's glossy eyes.
"There's my good boy," she praises. "Hi."
"Hi," he croaks back with a dazed smile.
"Booo, get a room!" one of their friends speaks up.
Eddie groans and hides in the crook of her neck, too weak from the kiss to face the teasing yet. So Stevie takes over the social interaction for him, lacing her hands together at the small of his back while he collects himself. She sticks out her tongue to Gareth.
"Shut up, we'll behave now," she says, before turning to the two girls, her jaws shattered on the floor and there to stay for her to stomp on. She smiles charmingly at them. "You guys were saying?"

absolutely adore that (from what i’ve seen) even with a transfem stevie, stobin is still 100000% platonic
like imagine the party being aware robin’s a lesbian and stevie’s a trans woman, and dustin going “!!!! now you CAN date it’s perfect!!! i always knew you two were made for each other!!”
and stevie and robin immediately give their standard, joint response of “ew no wtf that’s literally my sister i think i’d rather die”

Stealth hyperfemme transgirl Stevie Harrington who deep down really loves some traditionally masculine stuff (like cars maybe? video games?) but would never openly admit it.
She gets hit on at a club one night by a total creep and she's terrified because if she rejects him he might attack her, if he finds out she's trans he might attack her (and his hands are trying to wander places she does not want them to wander)
Enter leather genderfuck transgirl Eddy Munson, who first asks the creep to "unhand the lady" and then, when the guy won't budge, pulls out the deepest boymode voice she can muster to tell him to fuck off before she makes him.
Stevie is heart-eyes smitten, especially when Eddy wipes a tear from her cheek with a deep red lipsticked smile and calls her a "pretty little thing"...
Also something something Eddy helping Stevie cope with her internalised transphobia and such and Stevie learns to accept that she doesn't have to be the perfect hyperfemme tradwife to be a valid woman etc etc

Rockstar! Eddie and transfem! Hoh! Stevie
Eddie being aggressively enthusiastically publicly in love with her because that's his fucking wife! (No matter if they can't get legally married because Stevie can't change her gender marker and gay marriage isn't legal yet)
Eddie getting worried for all of five minutes when the transphobia and abelism start rolling in but Stevie is a mean girl and a bitch at heart and puts it to good use
Robin being Stevie's go to asl interpreter who signs all the stupid shit people say so she can laugh at them with Stevie
Corroded coffin refusing to be interviewed or photographed ect by anyone who has been openly transphobic or abelism to anyone not just Stevie
Their poor pr manager whose trying to get them to tone it down a little bit to be more "mainstream and palatable to people" which only gets them to double down because fuck that

Still the One
@steddie-week prompt: reunion @stevieweek prompt: gender euphoria @steddiemicrofic prompt: one | wc: 111 words rating: T | tags: transfem steve harrington, futurefic, dancing
AO3 Link
Eddie is passing through Chicago when they meet again.
Under the strobing lights at the North End, her pink skirt swirling around her, dances the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen.
With the moles dotting her cheeks, those heavy lidded hazel eyes, she looks an awful lot like–
“Holy hell–Harrington?! Shit, I didn’t recognize you at first. You look–”
Nose crinkling cutely, she lets out a sheepish laugh.
“Pretty different?”
“...I was gonna say really happy, my lady.”
“I am. Happy, that is. But…I can think of a way you could make me even happier.”
“Name your price.”
“Dance with me?”
Eddie sways closer. All this time–and she’s still the one.
