🩷 part four
one two three
334 words
About halfway into the movie, Eddie pulls his face back the tiniest bit and Stevie doesn’t notice until the boy is nuzzling her like he had as a joke earlier, except he’s not joking anymore. Stevie can feel his lips pressed to her skin. It isn’t a kiss, per se, but it isn’t not a kiss, either. His cold nose makes her want to squirm away, but she’d rather die than do that, so she deals with it until he warms up and then it’s just perfect.
Stevie squeezes where she’s still holding onto his forearms and Eddie freezes minutely, not knowing it was a stay right there squeeze and not a what are you doing squeeze. Then, she starts caressing his skin with her thumbs soothingly, and he relaxes with a small sigh.
Stevie hums in approval when he snuggles in closer and she can feel his lips lift into a smile.
He’s so sweet.
It’s another ten or so minutes before either of them moves again.
Stevie’s been apprehensive since the thought first crossed her mind, but after thinking about it non-stop since they’d cuddled up, she decides to just go for it.
She, ever so slowly, begins to trail her hands lower on Eddie’s arms until finally, she reaches her destination and untangles his hands - he goes easily. She lays her own over the backs of his and intertwines them.
Stevie’s heart is in her throat. No way Eddie’s reading this as platonic cuddling anymore, and that’s because it isn’t. There’s a loud voice in her head telling her to stop stop stop, that it isn’t safe, but she ignores it because, besides Robin, no one has ever made her feel as safe as Eddie does.
Still, she’s waiting for him to pull away, or something equally as detrimental, but he only holds her tighter.
Even then, although she’s enjoying herself, that voice comes back. He won’t want you once he knows what you are.
The rest of the night is bittersweet.

ISN'T SHE LOVELY? – S. HARRINGTON
𖥻 summary: the party meets y/n and steve's firstborn. 𖥻 pairing: steve harrington x fem!reader 𖥻 warnings: girl dad!steve. the baby's name is amelia. too much fluff. everyone is alive and well thank you. one dirty dancing reference. bad grammar, italics & not proofread (hey it's me). 2k-ish words. weird divs :/
💭 liv's thoughts: this is based on an idea i had last year (s4 i miss you) and a sequel of sorts to my 'all is well universe' of sunny days that won't ever end – you don't have to read it, but pls do it's v sweet. i hope you like it! <3
DO NOT INTERACT WITH THIS WORK IF YOU'RE UNDER SIXTEEN.
The sound of loud chattering could be heard from the end of the hallway, which wasn't surprising, given the number of people that were sharing the limited space of the apartment's living room. The kids – can you even call them that anymore? – were never known for their ability to speak quietly whenever they were together. However, everyone seemed to be in such a good mood that you can even hear the loud sound of Jonathan's laugh. There's a first time for everything, right?
You held the small baby in your arms, walking in slow steps out of her little nursery. Though you tried not to disturb your daughter too much, Amelia already had her big brown eyes open and searching for the source of all that noise. She wasn't used to such noises, being too accustomed to her parents' soft-spoken voices and the entertaining sound of their television – that didn't play anything other than Steve's recordings of Barney episodes. It's only natural that she finds the commotion strange.
As you arrive in the living room, you are greeted by Steve in his typical mom pose, hands on his hips as he watches Michael and Max's every move, anxiously waiting for his girls. From his stance, you can see that he already regrets the idea of inviting everyone over. Taking in the very worried furrow of his eyebrows, you just know that he is going over the most pessimistic thoughts as he looks at the crowded living room.
Appearing with the small baby in your arms, everyone gasped in surprise and amazement, including Steve, who quickly made his way over to you with the goofiest, most endearing smile. His big hands wrap around Amelia's small frame, as he leans down to take her from your arms. He has that sweet look on his face, that brightens even more when he sees the chubbiness of the baby's laughing cheeks. Delicately, like he's carrying the world's most precious jewel (he is!), your husband shows Amy to everyone, with a proud glimmer in his eyes.
"There she is!" he maneuvers her chubby body tenderly, making the baby sit on his arm to face everyone. Her upper body leaned on his chest for support, and she squealed happily when her curious eyes noticed how many people were in their living room. Unhesitating, Steve translates it to everyone, "Millie says hi".
That was enough to erupt a string of awws, sighs and one high-pitched "she's so adorable!" from Eddie. It was funny to see how a human being so small had everyone wrapped around her tiny little finger. Even Max, who usually had a hard time showing any emotion other than pure annoyance, was goofily smiling at the baby, admiring her brown (and very full) hair and round cheeks.
The kids were the most eager to get to know Amelia, with Dustin being the spokesman for their wishes, telephoning almost every day since the baby was born to ask when they could meet her. So, it's no surprise that the first person to make grabby hands to hold her next was Henderson himself. "C'mon, Steve, let me hold my goddaughter!" he exclaims as he looks at your girl in absolute awe.
"Your goddaughter?" Eddie asks, scoffing from his seat at the couch's armrest, next to the boy. "Yeah, right".
"Guys," Robin quickly intervenes, rolling her eyes as she watches the two bickering all over again over the matter. She was seated comfortably in the chair by your living room's small table, alongside Vicky. "Not this again, please?"
That wasn't enough to silence Eddie and Dustin, who began to argue harder about who is supposed to be the baby's godfather. The usual arguments were professed, "You're not old enough!", "but I'm the most mature!", "The baby's lullaby shouldn't be Dio!", "And it shouldn't be Weird Al Yankovic either!"
Given that he couldn't clap, Steve stomped his foot on the ground as he commanded the room's attention to him again, "Hey, hey, hey!" he exclaimed, letting out a satisfied breath when everyone falls silent again. "So, before we let you hold our daughter, I'd like to go over some rules-".
Loud groans erupt from everyone's mouths, and Amelia looks up at her dad, even more curious.
The kids were squished on the living room's small couch, surprisingly fitting in the space where you and Steve had a hard time adjusting in. Eleven was sitting on the side of the couch's armrest, patiently kicking her feet as Mike, Will, and Dustin elbowed each other in a silent fight for more space by her side. At the end of the couch, Max, Lucas and Erica found a way to position themselves without struggling too much. It was so crowded that poor Suzy had to sit on an old puff that Steve had bought in a garage sale when you moved in together ("It'll come in handy one day, you'll see!" Steve exclaimed while he walked off the sale holding the object, victoriously), right at Dustin's feet. On one side of the sofa, Eddie was slouched on the armrest, while Nancy sat on the other, as put-together as ever. Near her, Jonathan leaned against the apartment's wall, chatting with Argyle and Eden.
Amelia was carefully handed to Dustin, who sat in the middle of the couch. You figured it was the best position to have everyone look at her, an democratic decision, but it was still possible to hear Eddie complaining under his breath.
Your daughter got used to Dustin's hold fast, only shifting her tiny body over his arms a couple of times to find her position. When she did, Amy made one of those adorable baby sounds, showing everyone that she was incredibly satisfied now; and it was like the world had stopped for all of them. The only thing that mattered was to witness baby Harrington simply exist. Feasting your eyes on the scene, you hold Steve's waist, hugging him from behind as you rest your face against his arm, not being able to battle the tears that filled your eyes. Your heart was swelling with pride.
"She's pretty," El murmured, her voice sounding even quieter now, as her eyes sparkled at the sight of the little one.
With a trembling voice, Dustin agreed, "She is very pretty".
"Yeah," Will says as he watches Millie yawn, "She looks just like you, Y/N".
"Lucky for her," Mike and Max remark in unison, immediately glaring at each other with narrowed eyes. That makes everyone laugh, and baby Amelia opens up her eyes to check it out, opening a toothless grin after. Max, feeling as if her witty remark was stolen by the boy, adds, "It'd be such a shame if she had Steve's dead-fish stare. Thank God she has Y/N's eyes, too".
At that, your husband gawks at her, letting out an offended gasp. He's so upset that his mouth hangs open, as he looks at her, in complete silence. Catching his incredulity, Max only shrugs, as if to say, "What can I do?".
"Well, at least she has his hair," Lucas observes, mediating the situation, as usual.
"Thank you, Lucas!" Steve breathes out, feeling he got the justice he deserved.
The bickering soon faded into a familiar silence, as everyone's attention fell fully on your little girl, who slept peacefully in Dustin's arms, completely ignoring the commotion around her. And that was when the emotional weight of the moment fell on all of you. Glistened eyes watched in tranquility as the baby squirmed every once in a while, as the importance of the scene settled. Amelia's sole existence reassured you of a peace that you hadn't known in years, as if she was the last step in sealing the serene fate that awaited all of you. She was living proof that life is still normal, and despite all the hard times, it isn't all that bad, actually.
Seeing those grown-up kids taking care of a small piece of you and Steve filled your heart with delight, and a different sense of fulfillment that you hadn't known until now. It's so meaningful.
The nostalgia of seeing their sweet faces intensified when the kids started to argue about who was going to hold Amelia next, and suddenly the apartment was filled with loud chattering all over again. Just like the old times… but, somehow, better.
"Jonathan, look!" Nancy points out to little Amelia scrunching her nose, as if to suggest that he should snap a picture of the baby like that. Now, the kid was laying in Robin's arms, having her full head of hair brushed by Auntie Bobby – the lame nickname was picked by Steve, of course. "What a cute little nose you have, Amy!"
The oldest Wheeler compliments the baby in a high-pitched tone, as if the girl would actually understand. By her side, Jonathan kept taking pictures of the baby, snapping beautiful frames with that domestic feeling that you're growing used to; he promised that he'll develop all of them later.
"When's her birthday?" Eden asks quietly, as she smooches her face against Argyle's arm, watching the baby in wonder.
"October thirty-first," Steve answers quickly, not helping himself. Ever since the baby was born, he started to cultivate this staggering need to answer anything Amelia-related, talking about her constantly as if he didn't know how to chat about anything else.
With that spaced-out way of his, like he just had snapped out of a trance by the baby's birth date, Argyle lets out a chuckle, looking down at Millie with… respect, it seemed. "Ooh, Scorpio. Cool, man".
Then, everyone falls back into silence, just appreciating her small features and lovable babbles. However, Steve seems a little skeptical about how cool it is for his kid to be a Scorpio, and he slowly turns his head to look at you, giving Argyle a bit of a side-eye when he does so. "What did he mean by that? Isn't that, like, bad?" he whispers to you, still watching your friends interact with Amelia from the corner of his eyes.
"No!" you immediately reassure him, telling a little half-truth, "It just means that she's very… sweet".
Steve seems satisfied by your answer, mainly because he doesn't ask any further questions, and he goes back to keeping his eyes on Robin, making sure that she's holding your kid correctly. It isn't his fault that she has spaghetti arms, alright?
Eddie soon joins in, though he doesn't look very pleased about it, walking to stand in front of Robin with an exasperated expression on his face. He crossed his arms in front of his chest, looking down at the girl. You watch the scene unfold with confusion.
"Well?" he asks, lifting his eyebrows as if he is waiting for something, though he doesn't say what it is.
Rob looks up, still playing with the baby's hair, pursing her lips while she waits for Eddie to explain why he is interrupting her moment with Amelia. From over her shoulder, Vicky makes funny faces at the small girl, making loud squeals come out of your daughter's mouth.
When he doesn't say anything, Robin asks, "What, Munson?", blinking her eyes vigorously as she tilts her head.
"You're taking too long!" he tells her like that was the only answer possible. "It's been fifteen minutes already, it's my turn!"
After Eddie's little protest (thankfully, he didn't feel the need to get on top of your table this time), everyone took turns holding baby Millie in their arms. You didn't mind it, because you knew that your friends were just very excited to be meeting your daughter for the first time, but you cannot say the same for Steve. He was hating every second of it.
"Y/N, I can't take it," he breathes out once he pulls you to the side, hiding with you in the kitchen, away from prying ears, "They're passing her around like a joint".
"Relax, Stevie," you try to calm him down, though it's useless. Spying into the living room again, you see that Amelia is laying in Eleven's arms, which warms your chest a little. "El's rocking her to sleep, there's no prob-"
You quickly stop talking when Mike takes the baby from his girlfriend's grasp, having a hard time managing his long limbs around the kid's small frame. Eyes widening, you look to Steve, wanting to catch his reaction to the scene.
And he's fuming.
But just as he is getting ready to stomp his way over to Michael, you hold his arm, keeping him back and away from the kids. "Give them a break," is how you begin to reason with him, "he's getting the hang of it".
"Well, my daughter shouldn't be their little guinea pig," he huffs back, crossing his arms.
"Don't be like that," you persuade. "You didn't know how to hold her either, and now you're, like, a pro. Right?".
His hardened expression seems to melt at your compliment – Steve always feels so elated whenever people praise his parenting skills, especially when it comes from you. Your husband's cheeks flush a little, and he looks down, a bit bashful.
"You mean it?" he asks, playing with the loose seems of his yellow sweater.
"Of course, I mean it," giggling, you get closer to him, wrapping your arms around his waist as you pull him in for a hug. "She's so lucky to have you as her dad. Actually, we're so lucky to have you in our lives".
He chuckles a little, pleased to still gain such flattery from you. From where you stood, you can clearly see the timid redness that cripples from his neck up to his cheeks, which makes him seem even more adorable in your eyes. But even his striking looks didn't distract you from the intimate feeling of his hand resting over the small of your back, drawing you closer for a sweet peck on the lips. It's funny how still after all this time, Steve was able to make you feel endless electricity and warmth just by the simple touch of his lips.
Unfortunately for you, the pleasant moment was ruined by someone clearing their throat. Pulling apart from the kiss, you and Steve looked ahead, catching Eddie and Dustin's embarrassed faces after interrupting.
"Hey, so, hm…", Dustin starts, clearly not knowing how he should start, still very awkward succeeding the scene they had just break in on.
"We have settled on who should be Amy's godfather, and we swear-", Eddie cuts in, talking at full speed. But before he could get on with their (definitely) deep and sensible reasoning, you hear Steve groaning. "Jesus, guys. Not this again".

First and last episode of Silvia uses her degree on tumblr:
✨ Steve's house is ugly as fuck ✨
You might see this picture and think "what are you on about? it's not so bad!!" and I would agree with you, since the pool, the lights and the huge windows on the ground floor are doing the most at making this house look very nice and expensive.
But then, I saw this
this is the front of the house... THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE! THIS FLAT MF WITH THE MOST BASIC ASS WINDOWS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FIRST THING EVERYONE SEES???
And like, I know this is season 1, they were on a budget and this house isn't as important as the Wheelers or the Byers but I have an hyperfixation on Steve Harrington so I simply cannot let this one slide.
There are a lot of things that bother me about this house: the flatness of this entrance (seriously, never heard of a porch???), those boring windows, the fact that the house is basic but then you have that expensive-looking front door and those huge windows in front of the pool?? it seems as if they merged two houses together???
Now, I know we all joke about Steve having a lot of spare bedrooms but like, this house is huge???
LOOK AT THIS? is this really a suitable home for three people? You could fit all Hawkins after the earthquake in here, jc. They actually do have 400 spare bedrooms.
But then I realized, half of this is actually empty.
This is the best part of the house, let's be fucking honest. Finally some rich features in here. But also, this means that half the house doesn't have a second floor but just a huge living space on the ground floor with a double high which is very rich of you Harringtons, wasting half of the second floor just for the sake of aesthetic.
(Also, that exposed wood roof is gorgeous but the color... meh.)
At this point you might think that this house isn't actually that bad.. let me remind you that this house contains this room:
I rest my case.
#I'm so sorry that your parents' taste is shit Stevie#you deserved a better house to be abbandoned in#I'm 1000% making this house in the sims 4 btw#when I will be free from studying#I just need to salvage this and make it pretty somehow#decent at best#also Harringtons please hire me as a interior designer#all the fucking love#but you need one#stranger things houses#steve harrington#steve harrington house#stranger things#stressed queues

Call Me
For @steddieholidaydrabbles prompt Day 29 'Free Space Spicy' When Mickala showed me her STELLAR Sports AU I went a little bananas. BLESS her for letting me tag along and create a slutty little part two for it.
Rated: E || Word Count: 995 || Tags: Phone Sex, football player Steve, Rockstar Eddie, slutty dudes, masturbation MINORS DO NOT LOOK. Anywhozle, @steddieas-shegoes I think you're hot. Everyone enjoy. ---
Steve is antsy. Sure, he had just gotten off in the locker room—in his damn uniform, Robin was going to have a field day with this one—but it wasn’t enough. It was never enough when it came to Eddie.
These next two weeks could not move fast enough. Steve wanted to see his boyfriend. Steve wanted to get absolutely railed by his boyfriend.
They made it work. Seeing each other as often both of their hectic schedules allowed. They had just seen each other a few days ago, but Eddie was right. Steve was insatiable.
He made his way to his hotel room, throwing himself onto the massive bed. He huffed into the pillows before grabbing his phone.
He had a text.
‘Call me, when you get in, precious.’
Steve quickly hits the FaceTime button, thrown by his boyfriend's (hot) angry expression.
Steve cocks his head, “Eds, What’s wrong?”
Eddie clicked his tongue behind his teeth, shaking his head. “I didn’t ask you to FaceTime me, did I?”
The confusion on Steve’s face was clear. He did…he said call him when—call him.
Oh.
Steve’s eyes went wide and Eddie smirked through the screen.
“See, there’s my smart boy. I’ll give you one more chance, baby. Call me.”
Steve’s lip barely has time to jut out before Eddie hangs up.
Asshole.
Steve huffs to himself–calls anyway.
Eddie’s answering greeting is drenched in saccharine sweetness. Steve can practically taste it on his tongue.
“Hi baby boy.” Steve is fucked and they haven’t even done anything yet. “See? Following directions isn’t too hard.”
Steve whines. He’d like to deny it, but–he has needs. “I wanted to see you.”
Eddies answering laugh is low. Steve would like to deny the answering shiver that runs down his spine, but again…needs. “Well, Princess, we can do that, or you can be a good boy and listen.”
Steve nods before realizing Eddie can’t fucking see him. “Yes—I can listen.” He breathes. Eddie hums over the line.
“There you are, precious. Wanna tell me what’s got you so horned up that you had to jack off in the locker room?” Eddie purrs, voice low–firm. Steve loves when he gets like this.
“Missed you.” He breathes.
“Baby, you have a whole team that can take care of you. I know Hagan would fuck you in a heartbeat.” Eddie teases and Steve pouts.
“Eddie.” Steve snaps. “I don’t–they aren’t–”
Eddie clicks his tongue. “They aren’t what, pet?”
“They aren’t you Eds.” Steve didn’t want to push–he’d already pissed Eddie off and he needs–he needs.
“What do you need, baby? Tell me.”
Steve felt the blush rush his cheeks. He didn’t mean to say that out loud. “S-sorry, I just–I need you. I need your cock. I need you to fuck me until I can’t see straight, Eddie. Tonight’s game was insane. I miss my boyfriend and I need your cock in me so bad I think I might die.”
“God, what would your teammates say if they knew you were this fucking needy, baby. Big ol’ tough jock Steve Harrington begging for cock? You just need to be taken care of don’t you baby boy.” Steve whimpers, as Eddie laughs over the line. “Take your pretty cock out for me.” Eddie commands. Steve listens, like the good boy that he is. Still in his stupid fucking uniform. He’ll wash the set twice, it’s fine, alright?
He’s hard, the tip of his dick red and leaking. Steve runs his finger along the vein on the underside just like Eddie would. “Ed–” Steve moans, “Please I–”
Eddie tsks again. “Did I say you could fucking touch? I don’t think so, I said: Take. It. Out.”
Steve is quick to let himself go, can’t help the whine that escapes his throat, breathy and needy. He pants into the speaker and Eddie growls on the other end.
“God. I love the pretty noises you make. You needy needy boy. What do you need?” Eddie huffs. Steve thinks he can hear a zipper being pulled down. Hypocrite.
“Need to come. Need you to make me come. Please.” Steve’s panting, his gaze frozen on his leaking cock, his free hand is curled up in a ball on his side. Waiting for permission. Waiting for Eddie to tell him what to do.
Eddie doesn’t say anything. Steve is stuck, just listening to the sounds of a slick fist and Eddie’s heavy breaths. When Eddie talks, it’s breathy–strung out. “God, you looked so hot on the field princess. I can’t wait to see you, to kiss those pretty fucking lips, dig my fingers into your perfect tight little ass and make you beg for it.”
Steve is simply a whimpering mess at this point, his cock jerks in vain, he won’t touch. Eddie told him not to.
“C’mon pretty baby. Beg for it.” Eddie commands and Steve–well–
“Please, Eds, let me touch. Please let me come with you. Come for you. I need it.”
“There’s my perfect boy. Touch your pretty little cock for me, baby girl.”
Steve takes himself in hand, keening as he does. Listens to his perfect fucking boyfriend jerking himself off and god–he’s close already.
“Eds–Eddie. Please, please. Let me come, baby. Please.” Steve breathes.
“Come for me, pretty boy.”
Steve wails as he comes, white streaking his jersey. He pants through his release and can’t help the smile that breaks out across his face as Eddie comes on the other end of the line. He listens to Eddie’s deep breathing, praises offered up easily in between breaths.
It’s only when Steve starts laughing, an uncontrollable thing, that Eddie cuts himself off.
“What baby?” He asks. “What’s so funny?”
Steve hiccups trying to slow his breathing. “Do you think they would just send me a new uniform if I asked?”
Eddie joins him in his laughter and Steve is perfect. Happy in this headspace, with his hot ass rockstar boyfriend. Two weeks would go by in a flash.

i kind of sat down and thought about steve and robin cooking together, and then i entered a fugue state and came out of it with a little over 1.7k words written about them being domestic besties (domesties?). so um. enjoy :)
-
Robin has destroyed one of her mom’s pans again, so she’s been banished to Steve’s house.
Well, okay, let’s back up.
Robin, waking up and feeling especially productive, had taken it upon herself to make some scrambled eggs. Nice and simple, right? So she had grabbed the first spatula and pan she could find, and… scrambled those eggs! She even remembered the salt and pepper! Unfortunately, as Robin had remembered after she oh-so-lovingly scraped off the nonstick coating, metal utensils and nonstick pans didn’t really get along. Oops. Panicking, she had scraped her mess into the trash and called Steve to pick her up. So, really, she had banished herself, preemptively.
“How the hell did you even do this much damage?” Steve asks, holding up the pan. The look of befuddlement on his face is picture perfect; you could teach children how to identify emotions with that face. Robin would pinch his cheek if she wasn’t so embarrassed.
“I don’t know! I just tried to make some eggs!”
“Rob, there’s like, a solid cube of—”
“A cube is a 3D object, dingus.”
“This is a 3D object!”
“Not in that way! It’s not a cube! You mean a square!”
Steve throws up his hands, one of them brandishing the pan and waving it around. “Fine! There’s a solid square…” Steve gives Robin a look. She nods her head at him in acquiescence. “... Of coating rubbed off of this thing. Why were you punishing your eggs like that?”
Robin leans back on the counter she’s been sitting on, legs swinging. Her heel hits the cabinet once, and Steve’s eye twitches, but he says nothing. Because he loves her. But she tries to avoid doing it again, for his sake. “I had to get that yolk distributed! I was working fast, Evie, the burner was on and I wanted it evenly mixed—!”
“So why didn’t you mix it in a bowl before that?!” Steve looks so stressed. It's kind of funny, given how unimportant the subject matter is. Robin suppresses a grin.
“I forgot! I was groggy!”
Steve groans, setting the ruined pan down and rubbing a hand over his face. “... When we move in together,” he says, pointing an accusatory finger at Robin, “I am keeping my metal utensils in a locked safe.”
The warm, fuzzy feeling that always appears when Robin is reminded of their future together, their permanence in each other’s lives, it fizzes and pops in her chest like a sparkler. It’s still such a comforting feeling, even after all these months.
It doesn’t stop her from antagonizing him a little. “Like I don’t know what combination you’ll set it to,” she scoffs. “I could just break in. To spite you.”
Steve sits with that for a moment. “You’re breaking my heart, Robbie, you know that? You break my heart.” Not a real comeback. She’s won their battle of the bits, this time around.
“Well, anyway,” Steve continues, “I am really hoping you didn’t eat those eggs after seasoning them with metal filings.”
“It wasn’t— I don’t think the coating is metal. I don’t know what it is, actually, but I don’t think it falls under metal filings.”
Steve hmms. “Well, it’s not, like, plastic, right? Or silicone? That would just melt.”
“Yeah, you’re right. Well, it can’t be metal, because it loses a fight with metal spatulas.”
Steve thinks for a second. “Is… God, I mean, I guess there are other, other uh… what’s the word? For, like, not from plants?” Robin scrunches her brow in thought. “Synthetic? Inorganic?”
Steve snaps his fingers. “Yeah, both of those work. There’s probably things that aren’t plastic or metal that can be used to cook with, but it feels weird. That there’s another category out there.”
Robin nods in agreement, and they sit in companionable silence for a moment, contemplating on the nature of cookware.
“Anyway, no, I still haven’t eaten.”
Steve curses, gets up from leaning on his kitchen island, and steps over to the cabinets where he keeps his pots and pans. “Yes, God, okay, let me feed you. Still want eggs?”
“You know it!” Robin says, and Steve gets to cooking, bustling around the kitchen with practiced motions. It’s nice to watch him cook. He gets very focused, in a way that doesn’t usually come naturally to him. Steve doesn’t usually like talking while he’s cooking, but he hums bits of songs, bobs his head to the beat.
In no time at all he has a plate of scrambled eggs and toast in front of Robin, and she hops off the counter to sit at a stool at the kitchen island. She grabs the plate from Steve and smacks a wet kiss on his cheek, making him roll his eyes with a smile and subtly wipe her spit off.
Steve takes a seat across from her, and she notices that he doesn’t have anything. Did he already eat? “Did you already eat?” Robin asks.
Steve blinks. “Oh. No, I forgot.” He has a tendency to do that; when he cooks for someone, he can get so caught up in it that he forgets to make some for himself, and is left to scramble afterwards. “I’ll make myself some eggs after you’re done.”
An idea comes to mind. An attempt at redemption, maybe. “Let me?” Robin asks.
“And let you ruin my pans? No thanks.”
A flash of genuine hurt passes through Robin, and she lets it show on her face in the form of a pout. The comment isn’t unfounded, but… “No, please! I know what I did wrong, I’ll do better this time. I’m not sleepy anymore, either.” She just wants to take care of Steve like he takes care of her. She wants to feed him eggs, goddamnit! When was the last time anyone fed him eggs? Actually, if she thinks about that one, she’ll get sad, so she stops thinking about it.
Steve can obviously see her earnestness, and he softens. And rolls his eyes. But that’s just him being Steve, so Robin loves it. “Whatever you want, Birdie. Just don’t burn them. Oh, and use garlic powder.”
So Robin practically inhales the rest of her eggs and toast (very tasty, as always) and gets to work. Steve sits at his stool at the island, trying and failing not to watch Robin like a hawk as she bumbles around his kitchen (“That’s not enough garlic powder, Rob, put some more in there, it won’t bite!” and “Use the small pan on the top shelf— no, the other small pan. No, the other—”), but she does eventually get a plate of eggs and toast in front of him. Not as good looking as the one Steve presented her, but it smelled good, and didn’t have weird inorganic pan flecks in them. Steve gives her a sloppy kiss on her cheek this time, over-exaggerating and putting way too much saliva in it, seriously, was he a dog or something? Robin BLECH’d and rubbed at her cheek, but he looked happy at his plate of food, so. Overall success, even if sacrifices had to be made.
Robin leaned on the island on her elbows, face a foot away from Steve’s as he picked up a forkful of egg. He side-eyed her.
“Do you… want some…?”
Robin waved a hand at him. “No, dingus. Eat it! Do you like it?”
“Okay, okay!” Steve rolled his eyes and ate his forkful. Robin stared at him as he chewed, looking out for emotions such as delight and wonder, but also disgust and revulsion.
She found nothing. Steve looked normal. He ate another forkful, eyeing her.
“So?” Robin prods.
“They’re eggs?” Steve says, mouth still half full.
“Swallow!” Steve rolls his eyes and does as she asks. “Nothing else? They’re just eggs?”
Steve nods, shrugging a little. Robin feels a little let-down. The first time Steve had made her eggs, it was life-changing. He put heavy cream in them. Robin doesn’t think her parents had ever bought heavy cream in their lives.
Robin guesses that it makes sense, though. This is just how he makes eggs, duh. Still, it makes her feel kind of bad, that she couldn’t give Steve the same feeling he gave her.
Steve seems to sense her inner turmoil. “They’re— it’s good, though! You did a good job. I do like it.” He seems kind of… embarrassed, but grateful. “You didn’t have to make them for me. Thanks.”
Robin bumps his shoulder with her own, and then retreats to her seat, allowing him a bit more personal space. But not too much! She kicks at his shins, and he kicks back, a smile on his face.
Cleanup is easy as Steve washes the dishes and Robin dries. It’s the small, domestic things, like this, that make her so excited to eventually live together. It’s so easy and companionable, full of chatter about band practice and Dustin’s latest science experiment. She can’t wait to graduate.
After the dishes, though, they’re both at the kitchen island again, silently staring at the pan Robin had ruined at her house earlier.
“... It seems like a waste to throw away,” Robin complains.
“I know, right? But it’s, like, useless now.”
Robin hums. “I mean, no, it’s still like… metal. I feel like we should be melting it down.”
Steve stares at her. “In what world would it be more useful melted down?”
Robin squawks, indignant at her idea being challenged. “You know what I mean!”
“No I don’t! Do you just want a, a… what’s the word? A bar of metal.”
“Ingot.”
“Do you just want an ingot hanging out on our mantelpiece?!”
“Well, I didn’t before, but now I do!”
They look at each other for only a moment before dissolving into simultaneous giggles, shared joy crackling and leaping between them.
Steve settles down first. Still grinning, he turns to put the pan at the very top of a relatively bare cupboard. “Fine, we’ll just… keep this to be melted down later.”
Robin can’t do anything to stop the twin grin on her face, not that she would ever want to. “I love you, Evie.” The words come easy, and the delight and surprise on Steve’s face is as wonderful as always. He pulls her into a hug.
“I love you too, Rob.”

ahh congratulations on your milestone!!! thank you for all of your works!!! (also this concept is so cool and fun for a follower celebration!!!)❣️❣️
now, i just have to see what all the hype is about over at Lovers’ Lake ❤️🔥 88 from prompt 5 “kisses in which ‘i’ll kiss you right now to prove i don’t feel anything for you’‘ but the kiss proves the opposite” with best friend stevie??
thank u honey!!! i sincerely hope you think lover's lake is worth the hype <3 and this concept bro... ur brain is so delicious i literally sent this 2 like 4 ppl when i got it being like BRO so i hope i do it some justice <3 i manipulated the prompt a bit & it got a bit long but bleh <3 enjoy! (2k & fem!reader)
“I’m telling you Steve, there’s something seriously wrong with me!”
The words carry across the flat expanse of Lover’s Lake, your voice echoing over the ebb of the lapping water. Your resounding groan is much less loud, muffled as you bury your face in your hands. You’re curled up, knees drawn to your chest. The wooden slats of the dock dig into the bottom of your thighs.
Beside you, Steve chuckles just a bit at the drama of it all. So you had one bad kiss? It wasn’t the end of the world. Though from your reaction, you certainly seem to think so.
“Nothing is wrong with you,” He assures you, because he means it. He’s sat on your left, both arms resting atop his propped up knees, and he leans over to nudge your shoulder with his.
“So what if it was a bad kiss? I’ve hardly heard great reviews about Jeremy Parton. It doesn’t matter—“
“Ugh, it does matter, Steve.” You interrupt, pulling your face out from hiding.
Steve’s thankful that you don’t look teary-eyed, because he hates seeing you upset, instead only just a bit embarrassed. You’d called him not 20 minutes ago during what was supposed to be a date with Jeremy Parton, a plea for him to come pick you up.
Steve hadn’t been able to discern over the phone why you suddenly needed rescuing, yet came to get you all the same. You hadn’t offered up the details when he showed either, just tried to melt into the leather of his passenger seat, arms crossed.
It went without discussion that you two would wind up down at Lover’s Lake. Together, you and Steve have wracked up hours on hours here, spilling secrets and laughter beneath the moonlight. It looks the same as ever tonight, pale illumination casting delicate shadows across your face.
Steve can see the effort you’ve put in for the date; your lips a little glossy, your eyes somehow wider and sweeter. You’re enchanting beneath the moonlight, Steve thinks fondly. Then desperately tries to rein the thought back in, tries to stuff it back away because he’s here as your best friend — who you called after your date with someone else.
“Why?” Steve brings his focus back to your current predicament. “Why does it matter so much that you had a bad kiss? I’ve had plenty!”
You groan again, slumping over and hooking your chin over your knees. Steve thinks it makes you look adorable.
“It’s different with you, Steve!” You protest. “It’s like, of course, all the girls you go out with are into you but with me the date is— ugh, it’s like who knows if they actually like me?”
“Woah, woah,“ Steve interrupts with a wave of his hands. “You think the kiss was bad because he wasn’t into you?”
Your embarrassment creeps back up, crawling across your features apprehensively. You smile weakly at Steve, knowing he’ll disagree with what you’re about to say.
“Summer O’Brien said that,” You pause and swallow, feeling more foolish by the second for taking her words so seriously now that you have to explain them to Steve. “Some guys go on dates even when they don’t like the girl. And if the kiss is bad...”
You trail off, voice meek as you take in Steve’s furrowed brow. He looks serious, frowning at the planks of the dock as he mulls your words.
“That it means that he doesn’t like you?” He asks sincerely. He is trying hard to understand why one butchered kiss had warranted such a reaction. You nod, pulling your knees in tighter to your chest.
Steve can’t help it, he snorts in disbelief. “That’s complete horseshit. That— that makes no sense! With that logic, if I kissed you it would be a terrible kiss because- because I don’t like you like that!”
Oh, fuck. Steve regrets saying it the moment it’s out of his mouth.
Because it’s not the truth. Even if he hasn’t fully admitted it to himself, deep down, Steve knows there’s a part that’s always considered it. A small piece of his heart that had been cordoned off in case you ever wanted it.
In that moment, Steve is taken aback by how quickly the desire flares up in his chest, warm and longing. He wants you to want it.
Thankfully, you don’t scrutinize his words too hard. Instead, you laugh a bit too bitterly, gaze returning to the mirror surface of the lake ahead. “That’s... not the same thing, Steve.”
You sound dejected, like Steve had missed the point, slumping down a bit further.
“Y’don’t believe me?” He finds himself asking, leaning closer. He plants a hand on the ground beside him, shifts so you’re even closer.
You perk up at his question and swivel your head in his direction. He doesn’t miss how your eyes steal a glance at his lips, how your grip on your arm tightens just a tad.
“If I kiss you — a proper good kiss,” Steve wills his voice not to waver over the coming lie. “Even though I don’t like you in that way, will you accept that Summer O’Brien talks nonsense?”
You’ve gone wide-eyed, silent at the close proximity between you and Steve now. But still he catches the small, nearly imperceptible, nod you give. You clear your throat, straightening up just a bit and accidentally bring you two nearer as you do. You can feel Steve’s breath fan over you face, can count the freckles on his nose when you’re this close.
His hair ruffles under a soft wind and his hazel eyes watch you intently, waiting for a clearer sign that he’s allowed to kiss you. Your heart softens, even more so than when he’d first brought up a kiss between you two.
You nod again, “Yeah. Alright.”
Steve nods as well, as though steeling himself and you find him searching your face — hunting, scouring for something in it. You’re not sure if he finds it.
You’re not sure what can be read on your face; if he can see the nervousness that’s got nothing to do with being kissed and all to do with being kissed by him.
It’s almost comical that your miserable kiss with Jeremy has somehow led you here. About to kiss the man who had consumed your thoughts and ruined the last kiss you’d received.
It’s bittersweet that it’s to prove a point — to prove his feelings are not at all the same as yours. There is no desperately pressed down pining from him that you’ve become so accustomed to yourself. You’re foolish to hope for more, you think. Maybe worse is that you’ll take what you can get.
A kiss from your best friend, as a consolation to soothe your heart over the fact that he doesn’t feel the same. Won’t ever feel the same.
Steve moves first.
Where Jeremy’s lips had been rough and dry, Steve’s are soft and sweet. Softer than you’re expecting. Your eyes slide shut instinctively as the plush feel of his bottom lip meets your own, gentle in the way it scrapes across yours.
You can’t help the quiet gasp that catches in your throat but Steve doesn’t kiss you. He hovers, lips catching softly against your own, not quite moving forward. He’s still asking permission. Still giving you time to pull out if you change your mind.
Something thrums in your chest at his care, spreading warm and nervous in all the right ways. In all the ways that had been wrong earlier in the evening. It whips up inside you, some tornado of affection and this time, you’re the one who moves forward.
You capture Steve’s mouth with yours, leaning into him, and Steve’s responding hum may as well be your favourite song the way it echoes in your head.
His hand moves, hesitating for only a moment before he cups your jaw and pulls you in even more. The kiss is breathtaking — the sweet press of his mouth against your own that inspires pure elation between your ribs, warmth that urges you forward until your hand twists into his shirt without thinking.
The kiss breaks. Suddenly, one kiss becomes two, becomes three, because Steve has to drink his fill while he’s allowed. You respond in earnest, stealing kisses just as fervently.
He knows now this is a mistake. Steve isn’t sure how he’s ever supposed to go back to being just your friend now that he’s had a taste of your lips, now that he knows what it’s like to kiss you and hold you and— shit, Steve’s pretty sure he’s red in the face, heart racing so loud you must hear it. He’s given himself away.
“That...” Steve croaks, unsure where he’s going with this. He’s still trying to save his heart after being burnt so many times. He realises his hand is still cupping your face and releases you.
Your face crumples a bit at the motion, pulling back, and Steve can see how you suck in a breath. “So,” You begin, voice quiet. “That was proof of a good kiss even though you don’t like me?”
You’re repeating his own words and yet Steve’s lie sounds so much worse on your lips. He shakes his head, dips in closer, trying to regain that closeness you’d given up.
“Yes. No! I mean,” Steve fumbles for a bit, trying to read your shielded expression desperately.
He can’t tell if the thread of hope, the part of him that sings she likes you too is some false voice leading him to treachery. Steve decides it doesn’t matter; not when you’re looking at him like he’s just hurt you instead of kissed you.
“I lied.” He breathes, a tiny shake of his head. Your head tilts up in an instant, some mixture of expressions crossing your face. Steve continues, the truth rolling off his tongue easy now that he’s broken the floodgate. “I lied. I said I don’t like you like that and that was a lie. I’m sorry if that— shit, I didn’t think the kiss would...”
He trails off, apology and explanation all bundled up and forgotten as Steve tries to comprehend everything that kiss had forced to the surface. Had you felt it too?
“Would what?” You ask timidly. Something splashes quietly in the lake behind you. Steve can see the twilight moon reflected in your eyes. He thinks it might be his new favourite colour.
“Would feel like that.” He whispers, eyes locked on yours. “I didn’t know it could feel like that. I don’t think a kiss has ever—” He breaks off, some disbelieving laugh punching out of him, a gentle smile curling on his mouth. “—Ever made me feel that way.”
Steve’s lost control of the situation entirely. What had started as him comforting his best friend had spiraled to suggesting a kiss to convince you of a lie to this.
The question, the want, comes from deep in his chest, pulled from his very bloodstream.
“Can I do it again?” He asks.
His hand moves to cradle your jaw, just as he had been not a minute ago, and his heart flip-flops at the way you lean into him. It could be on purpose — or by pure instinct. Steve isn’t sure which one he prefers, just that he could get used to the weight, to holding you this way.
He barely manages to murmur out his please? before your lips are upon his again. The force of it pushes him back, surprised for a moment before he catches himself. His other hand sweeps around your middle and he pulls you in tighter.
“Yes,” you murmur, the words scratching against his lips between the kisses. Your chest heaves, your heart soars, some happy ache in your chest. It’s a wonder you both manage to stop smiling enough to kiss.
“Yes, anytime.” You promise, a little breathless. You mean it. You want him to kiss you now, tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that, for as many days as he’ll allow.
Anytime. Steve likes the sound of that. He thinks he’ll start with right now.

Steddie kinda famous AU(?) | Genderfluid Stevie <3 | Eddie is a rat man and I laugh at him (I would probably be like that if I was Steve Harrington husband but that's not about me) | Live laugh love Stevie | Pushing the history teacher Steve agenda because he's a variant of Hob Gadling >:D
[I'm sorry if it has errors it's been a while since I had written something in English (it's not my first language) so whatever mistake I have feel free to tell me and I'll edit <3]
. ° — ° — 🌟 — ° — ° .
Corroded Coffin seemed to be popular, things were getting better for them, they still had to do part time job because of that 'what if?' but things were going well. Definitely.
In an interview they asked about a song, the meaning. And the shit man Eddie Munson is, he answered with a grin on his face "That's about Stevie, as most of them".
And the fans went crazy, trying to find someone with that name in the Corroded Coffin set or working at some usual bar they played at.
"They is a history teacher" Eddie Munson told the world in another interview "and we are married" he showed the camera a ring he had next to his guitar pick on his neck, he had the biggest smirk on his face.
Then Corroded Coffin were guests of a fundraising gala, they were asked to play at it to attract more people. It was a fancy gala tho, everyone was in their bests dresses and all.
"This one's for my beautiful angel there, who looks as gorgeous as always" And Eddie winked at a special balcony of the vip guests.
Most of the public saw Eddie laughing softly, but they didn't know why. In that balcony a lovely brunette in a marion blue dress gave the guitarist and second voice of Corroded Coffin the middle finger as he had a stupid lovely gaze on their face while she blushed a little.
"Yeah love ya too sweetie" Eddie chuckled before starting with the show.
Later at the gala people saw Eddie Munson next to the tall brunette in that marion dress.
"So are you Eddie's girlfriend?" An interviewer asked, he looked at Stevie with those eyes Eddie didn't like.
But Eddie laughed as he waited for Steve's answer, that was going to be good as hell, they had the bitchy face on.
"Not a girl" Steve smirked "And definitely not his girlfriend, nor boyfriend, nor partner" She looked down at the man, who seemed so little compared to them "He's my husband"
"I am" Eddie smiled so stupidly in love as he looked up at Stevie, who usually wasn't that tall but with the black heels they was wearing today the difference was more than usual.
"Uh— Yeah" The interviewer looked at different places to get outta there
"You got any problem with that sir?"
"N-no it's perfectly fine ma'am— I mean sir— I mean—"
Steve snorted "Come on darling, let's go somewhere else without this kind of people"
And where Stevie went Eddie followed
The amount of edits with the song 'walk em like a dog' after that gala were more than years the Earth has.
"Teddy, look, another one" Steve chuckled as she showed Eddie his phone.
"Stop with that, you menace" Eddie laid down on the couch, next to his significant other, trying to take their phone away playfully.
"Erica is going to bully you so bad" Stevie giggled.
"And Red too" Eddie sighed "Jesus Christ, Stevie I am like that always?"
"It's cute"
"I hate you" Eddie muttered as Steve put on the baseball match of today.
"Love you too sunshine" She smiled softly as they started playing with Eddie's hair.

The last time Steve celebrate his birthday with classmates was when he was 10, he was the weird kid, the one who had no friends.
Then the three next years he was always alone, drawing on a little notebook or reading books, his personal favorite ‘No longer Human’ of Osamu Dazai, it was funny for him how relatable he feels with it, he understands the things he talks, he was young, but not stupid. He understand the suicide, specially for his Nonna, cause his momma tell him that Nonna tried to kill herself one night when she was studying for a test in college, she fail her test for being on the hospital with Nonna. Momma always had makes him her little secret pocket, telling him things he don’t want to know. Like how she was cheated by her dad when he was on her tummy, how Dad continues to go around to see the family he build with the other woman.
But then, when Steve was 13, all change again. Nonna died for cancer, his birthday feels weird since that, the warm but harsh presence of her was no longer there. Her cold sharp hand on him don’t hug him no more. Then Steve get popular, he was known now, no longer the solitary kid he was, no one remembers nothing of him before 13. Steve continues to appreciate that book he read back then, ‘No longer human’ his only company on his birthday, always re reading it on 14 October, year by year noticing that the book feels more personal as the time pass.

LAST CHANCE ON THE STAIRWAY – S. HARRINGTON HEADCANONS
𖥻 summary: fake dating old money!steve. 𖥻 pairing: old money!steve harrington x fem!reader. 𖥻 warnings: no mentions of y/n, not proofread - we die like men here.
💭 liv's thoughts: it's been a long time since i've written something, so i decided to make my big comeback with a concept that is very dear to me <3
DO NOT INTERACT WITH THIS WORK IF YOU'RE UNDER SIXTEEN.
♡ㆍWhen Steve comes up with (as he called it) a "miraculous, failproof" plan, he wouldn't stop trying to persuade you to join in. It will get to the point of being annoying, because being the brat that he is, this boy can't take a no.
♡ㆍAnd that is why he is doing everything in his power to make you take up on his offer, which means that he is showering you with useless gifts just for the sake of you saying yes.
♡Books, cassettes, clothes, vinyl records… heck, even a brand new Walkman. He is truly going all in – and the plan hasn't even begun.
♡ㆍThe thing is: Steve is one stubborn guy, and when he makes up his mind about something, he is going to get it. And he has decided that instead of getting a girlfriend the way normal people do, he has to have you as his fake girlfriend.
♡ㆍYou could argue that it's because you're one of his, erhm… less fortunate friends, but deep down, Steve knows that this is his only shot at getting you as his girl.
♡ㆍTo him, it's like you're this very unattainable girl, someone who's so different from everyone he's known his whole life. You do things for yourself, and you're so ahead of him in so many ways that Steve thinks that you'll never give him a real chance. So, he has to make do with this fake shot at getting to your heart.
♡ㆍAnd boy, does he grab that chance by the horns.
♡ㆍEven though you made it very clear that you were still very much friends, and you didn't want this to get too close to comfort, Steve is already thinking about your matching clothes for his parents' annual gala, and planning a romantic date on the golf course at the town's club. Only because his rich friends will be there to witness you playing together, and you "gotta make this relationship seem believable!" His words, not yours.
♡ㆍSo, of course, he's going to bring you to his favorite rich-boy activities.
♡ㆍThe first, which is his most dear, is shopping. And it's something, as you found out, that he does pretty much daily –– spending one hundred bucks like it's absolutely nothing. But, hey! Steve was never known for being responsible, was he?
♡ㆍHe takes you everywhere, slowly finding out your personal tastes and favorite stores, and you're pleasantly surprised with how much you enjoy shopping with him.
♡ㆍSteve is all for the silly antics: picking out a dozen clothes and making a ridiculous fashion show in the fitting room's small hallway, or wearing clothes that are the wrong size just to hear you giggle and tease him.
♡ㆍIt's nice to have him there for support since he always encourages you to try things you wouldn't have otherwise. Steve is not one to be afraid of making a bold fashion statement, and he wants you to feel secure enough to do the same if you want to.
♡ㆍSo, if you see something that shows a little more skin than you're used to, or maybe a bright color you have never tried before, he is going to be your number one supporter. It does help that he finds you absolutely beautiful no matter what you wear.
♡ㆍShopping with Stevie also means that you are coming home with a bunch of shopping bags, but don't worry! He will carry all of them for you, even if it covers his whole arm, because he doesn't want you to ruin your fresh manicure.
♡ㆍBut besides shopping, Steve always invites you to go to the club to play golf, or tennis with him… even though you have no idea how.
♡ㆍSteve is convinced he is a good teacher, though. And that is what opens the door for opportunities for him to hold you tightly against his body, his big hands holding your arms as he explains how you should grip the golf club, or the tennis racket.
♡ㆍHe keeps telling you that it's good to be close to you like this to show you off to his friends, but with time, the excuses fade as you both discover that touching is good, and that there's nothing better than to be in each other's arms.
♡ㆍThose lingering touches, small smiles, and longing stares are almost like an unconscious thing that happens between the both of you, and you find yourself enraptured by them, completely forgetting about the boundaries you had set to avoid getting too caught up in this fake relationship.
♡ㆍBut it's difficult when Steve is the best fake boyfriend you could ever ask for. If you thought that he was just a good friend, man, you're in for the most delightful ride of your life… because if you feel like you're getting the lines between your real emotions and your fake relationships blurry, Steve had already jumped headfirst in it.
♡ㆍHis attentiveness just triplicates, and it's like he just wants to please you all the time. But it all happens so naturally that you start to wonder if dating him was supposed to happen sooner or later in your life; it just feels like the next step, really.
♡ㆍAnd what surprises you the most is that you could complain about his intensity or his blatant crush on you, but you don't want to.
♡ㆍIt's just needless to say that you're in big, big trouble.
♡ㆍBut let's talk about the good stuff, shall we?
♡ㆍHaving so many gorgeous outfits, it's only natural that he will help you pick out great combinations for your nights out, especially when you have to attend his parents' events together. Trust me, he's gonna make sure you go either with matching colors, matching fabrics, or matching designers.
♡ㆍYou are the only reason why those types of gatherings get bearable for him, honestly.
♡ㆍLike I said in a previous post, the Harrington family is renowned and known all over America, so that means that hearts will be crushed once Steve appears on the cover of a gossip magazine with his hand over your waist, holding you close as you two pose for the camera.
♡ㆍWhich takes us to why he made this whole plan up in the first place: he just wants to escape the madness of having people speculate about his dating life all the time and the crazy gold-digging mothers that practically throw their own daughters in his direction. Having a serious relationship keeps the craziness of being the country's most eligible bachelor, and it shuts down his parents, too.
♡ㆍHe loves to take you out dancing at those parties, even though they're very conservative when it comes to their music; it's either soft jazz music, or some old classics that no one your age has heard of before. But you make your own choreography, pretty much mocking how the other very square couples are dancing.
♡ㆍIt's literally the Laurie and Jo scene from Little Women (iykyk).
♡ㆍAnd please, he absolutely loves to get shitfaced at those parties! There are two things he really enjoys about those gatherings: the food and the neverending champagne. And he certainly savors every glass and those fancy finger foods – once, he almost took a whole tray of those.
♡ㆍTipsy-Steve is just a ray of pure sunshine, and a ball of energy. He loves to dance like nobody's watching and to talk to everyone, including those he claims to dislike. It's funny because his cheeks get so red, and even his way of talking changes a little: his voice gets squeaky, and he merges his words together because there's just so much going on through his head.
♡ㆍBut Drunk-Steve is a whole different person. He can barely keep his eyes open, and he has to spend the rest of the party sitting down somewhere because he gets too lazy… and now his words start to slow down, and he begins to feel a little more sentimental. So, as soon as the bubbly champagne takes its toll on his brain, he still can't stop talking, but most of his words are sweet compliments for you.
♡ㆍIt's like he feels a growing and unstoppable need to be a total sweetheart to you, praising you for just reaching out to brush his hair out of his eyes. And his clinginess just goes through the roof, wanting to be near you, even though you had just spent the last three hours together.
♡ㆍIt's in one of his drunken spurs where you get to know his actual feelings toward you, because he simply can't keep his mouth shut. He goes on extensive rants about just how great he thinks you are, and that you just might be too good for him… and Steve has such a heartbreaking puppy face, pouting as he tells you all about what goes on in his heart, that it's hard to feel anything but a sense of growing affection for him.
♡ㆍIt's funny, because one night he's pouring his heart out to you, and the next morning, he doesn't remember anything that he had said. And you don't say anything either. Maybe at the next party… or until your deal is over. There's always time, right?
