I love being trans. All the pain and hurt inflicted onto me from other people and the way they perceive me doesn’t really matter right now. I like my body the way it is, and what it is remains to be a strange and wonderfully abnormal thing linked vaguely to an even stranger gender.

I would have kind of personally liked this body even if I were born a cis boy, I think. I would be confused about my gender still, but I think I’d be okay then too.

I think my body is loved.

At least by me. And I’ll protect it, and make it feel safe and comforted when it hurts from past scars and stuff. Because it wants to love me too, even if it’s scared or hurt sometimes.

I promise I’ll do my best to keep you safe.

What I'm wearing for the methadone clinic today!

The red sweater is old. It was given to me at the shelter in Santa Fe. I am wearing an old black cami under it.

The pants I'm wearing today might work out for River of Lights. I'm using fresh black leggings under the textured jeans I got at Torrid for my birthday.

The fingerless gloves were a gift.

I've had them for a while as well.

The scarf is from the Grandmother on my dad's side. I told her I was struggling to find much to keep me warm, so she cleaned out her closet and gave me a few things.

I wonder if I should dye my hair black or some other color before River of Lights starts. Maybe a nice red?

it’s strange to me like yeah im a tme theydyke who will probably go on t like very much a demographic but i don’t really know anyone else in that vein in my life like most of my trans friends are transfem and most of my talking about lesbianism is with them. and i prefer that like i only have a couple other transmasc friends but such a large contingent seem abhorrent and obsessed with putting transfems in their place. also im friends w many transfem lesbians and fags who get it!!
