You felt like you’ve been waiting for this moment your whole life, finally you can transform into the best version of yourself. And yet as it comes time for the first injection, you find yourself nervous.

Luckily you don’t have to do this alone, though. Your partner, Otto Octavius sat across from you at the dining table watching your face scan over the instructions mumbling the words to yourself for the umpteenth time.

“You can do this, I believe in you,”

You gave a breathless smile as you looked up at him, his thick brows were raised softly, his eyes displayed a deep understanding of your feelings, for once he was in the same shoes, though he hadn’t the chance of having a friend by his side.

Your fingers twitched as they felt for the syringe. You were excited enough to have already shed the plastic wrapping around the item, but that washed away once you fully registered the extra components of the kit. It was all too much for you.

“Thank you for being here for me, I don’t think I could do this alone.”

“You don’t have to thank me, I’m just being here for the one I care about.”

“I- actually may not be able to do this on my own.” You gesture towards the scattered pieces of the kit on the table.”

“Ah,” Otto began to stand up, using the table as leverage, “are you sure, I know you said you wanted to do the first one—“

“I don’t wanna mess it up, I think you should do it, it’ll mean more that way.”

Otto nodded as he walked over towards you, “I can do it for you, dear.” Otto slid the kit closer to him on the table with his fingers. “I apologize for your nervousness, I understand. I was scared of my first shot too.”

You watched him prepare the syringe pushing the needle into the vial and turning it upside down. People get injections all the time for various needs, it was normal. But seeing Otto’s focused composure as he examined the filled syringe made him look like a professional mad scientist. Well, he technically was, but it made your heart do flips seeing him in his element.

Otto brought himself to his knees, giving a small grunt as he made himself comfortable on the floor. He laid his hand on your plump thigh, his other hand positioning the syringe. Your breath caught in itself for a moment. As you held onto the table with one hand, the other on his shoulder to brace yourself, he coaxed your attention to him, “Just don’t think about it, look into my eyes,” you followed his instruction, gazing into his deep brown eyes.

“I am so proud of you. Through all of your hardships you made it to this point, this is what you’ve worked so hard for and it’s finally happening. I can’t wait to see you blossom into the truest and most beautiful version of yourself.”

Your lip quivered the most genuine of smiles as tears of revere escaped your eyes.

“.. And we’re done! First one!”

You’re brought back into reality upon hearing his declaration combined with the cold of the cleansing wipe swiping down your thick thigh. He gave your knee a soft kiss before adjusting himself to stand up again. While bracing himself up, your faces meet. Your hand holding onto the table mimicked itself with your other hand that was still on his shoulder. You lean forward, connecting your lips with his. The sudden rush of energy from the first injection intertwined with your pure adoration of Otto was almost overwhelming. You couldn’t help but grin into the kiss. You pulled away sighing, “I love you,”

“As I, you”

As he stood up, groaning from the stiffness of his bones, he reached a hand out to you instantly, locking your fingers together.

“Would you like to dance?”

“Absolutely, my love.”

Otto sweeps you away swiftly, twirling you. You wrap your arms around his neck, his arms wrapping around your curvy accentuated waist as you dance and laugh the night away. The entire night you find yourself lost in his gaze. Never did you think you’d find someone who could love you for you; Someone who could accept and appreciate your body, seeing it as a work of pure art. Often in times of dysphoria and dysmorphia he’d offer you comfort and praise. It amazed you how confident this man was in his own skin, despite his hang ups. Otto had told you how long it took him to accept himself, how long it took him to be able to walk around shirtless. He knew there was stigma around guys like you and him showing off your bodies, and yet he didn’t care. He strutted proudly with his chest exposed. You wished one day you could get to that point of poise, and you were sure with the help of your testosterone dosage that it would accelerate the process. He was everything you wished you could be sometimes, it still flabbergasted you how a man like him would want to be with you. But it was times like this you understood, he was a different kind of man who had spent his life confused and ridiculed just like you. You both have spent your lives proving your right to existence to the world, so when you were with each other you didn’t have to prove anything, you just had to exist in one another’s arms.

You knew that Otto has been rather self-conscious about the tentacles since you started dating. Mostly it was because he didn't want you to be scared off by them.

Even though you two moved in together a while ago, you could tell that there was still some uncertainty surrounding those extra appendages.

That day, you felt it grow between you. It felt as though he was distancing himself from you. Unconscious or not, it filled you with anxiety at first. Then came sadness. Sympathy.

In bed, you lay awake, unable to fall asleep, while your mind was racing with thoughts and questions regarding this particular situation. You had to talk about it with him. There was no way around it. You just didn't quite know how to do that just yet.

Thinking that Otto had long succumbed to the night, you turned onto your side, facing his back. The tentacles were in what you called "sleeping mode", unmoving, unresponsive, merely the metal appendages that were fused to your lover's back.

Humming softly, you prepared yourself to whisper what was on your mind.

"You're such beautiful things," you murmured softly, "attached to your father and supporting him at all times, just like he supports you. It's amazing to witness. I wish your father understood how special you guys make him. Even more so than he already is, of course. I love him with all of my heart. And loving him, means loving you four, also. I think he knows that. I hope he does, anyway. But I should tell him. And I will. Don't you worry. I'll make sure that your father isn't uncomfortable anymore."

Little did you know that Otto was very much awake the entire time, trying very hard to not let you know that he could hear every word. He was speechless and so, in addition to not wanting you to know, he didn't respond. He simply let your words sink in and lull him to sleep.

It was in the morning that he confessed to you that he had heard it all. Finally, it gave you the opportunity to talk things through.

Of course, the issue didn't simply vanish afterwards, but it became easier. Until, after some time, it wasn't really an issue at all. Not anymore.

Comics Otto Octavius may be trans but he's absolutely not cool trans. He learned about transsexuality on a BBS in the '80s and has not updated his perspective since. This is the kind of guy who calls himself FTM and doesn't know what a "gender identity" is. Once more, we're opening up submissions for the Men's Tits Bracket. This was not done in a form of protest of Yamato somehow losing to Brook, no siree.

I'm sure y'all remember the general conceit of this tournament. Thirty-two of y'all's MCMs are being submitted to get sexualized for our amusement and enjoyment. On some level it's equality, but I digress.

By the time I post this, y'all've decided that Izzy Hands, Nandor the Relentless, Genjirou Tanigaki, Ash Williams, Iron Bull, Son Goku, Otto Octavius, and Dio Brando are all going to automatically be put into the bracket. Which means there's now twenty-six spots that need to be filled. Obvi, that means we're going to need some submissions. The link will be posted later in the post, after I list off these rules:
