The thing is I genuinely just assume that everyone in wincestblr is a (probably trans, because tumblr) dude or nonbinary, because all of you have Sam/Dean/Jensen/Jared as your pfps. And I don't have to question that because well, I have a Sam pfp, and I'm a dude, and I can think of at least two other people that's true for. And then I'll see some proof that some of you are actually women, and cis women, even, and it will just hurt my brain. Like, what? You can think like me and not be the weird gender soup that I am? Below is me rambling about shit that did not happen idk if there's any spoilers just my dumbass

Okay so there are a lot of reasons why this doesn't make any sense, speaking canonically and as close to the show as possible unlike with dean, small details can add up to him being a trans man but can also not, then again 90% of the time it's just people having fun / making characters they relate to. More relatable, but some (the voices in my heas) might think some hc as transfem because he has long hair which isn't the case (my source is I made it the fuck up) a lot of reasons for dean being hc'd as transmasc is most commonly in the first few seasons; mainly how he presents himself. he is very masc focused unlike his brother, he does everything in his power to be presented as a man (I could be wrong on this nobody fact check me pls it's been a hot minute). In the later seasons he doesn't seem to do this as much, and you can't forget that one dude calling him "daddy's little girl" which I know in hinde sight he was just trying to mock dean. okay enough dean this is about SAMMY. but mostly I find comfort in sam identifying with that title. and Jared doesn't gaf what we say sam is, in that sense I think transfem sam should be more common (I am half awake someone shut me UPPP) but I just feel like with the amount of trauma the boys have went through (sam more then often) would've at least once questioned their gender identities at least once in their life. maybe there isn't a reason behind any hc's and people are just having fun. at the end of the day who fucking cares they're fictional nonetheless where am I going with this? I have no clue gonna be so fr. I had this whole thing thought out and lost half my thoughts so I'm just rambling. Anyways gifs that make me think the Winchesters are transgender;

The Colorado Republican Party has told all of its members to remove their children from public school or otherwise educators will turn their kids transgender. “All Colorado parents should be aiming to remove their kids from public education,” read the email, written by Darcy Schoening, director of special initiatives for the Colorado GOP, KUSA reported. “If your child decides he identifies as a girl because he is angry with you, or all of his friends are doing it, the Colorado government will actively encourage his new fetish by allowing him to identify as ‘she,’ ‘they,’ or whatever nonsensical terms your son’s teachers and peers may dream up.”

Trans identities aren’t a “fetish” nor are they adapted because of peer or parental pressure (a concept called “social contagion” that has been debunked by studies). [...] In 2022, Republican Colorado gubernatorial candidate Heidi Ganahl published a list of 30 schools that she accused of accommodating students “furries” who were allegedly “identifying as cats.” Many of the schools released statements contradicting her claim, and she went on to lose her election to gay Gov. Jared Polis (D) by over 17%. Republican activists have encouraged parents to file lawsuits accusing public schools of violating their rights by teaching students LGBTQ+ issues and allowing LGBTQ+-inclusive policies.

The Colorado Republican Party put out an email missive written by Darcy Schoening calling on parents to pull their kids out of public schools in protest of HB24-1039. The email put out loads of transphobic myths, such as falsely labeling trans identity as a “fetish” and pushing the baseless “social contagion” myth.
