Okay what is going on with Jon and Gael (Garroths Great Grandparents ?) like six kids is a lot and they really did like G names huh. I can imagine dinners must’ve been confusing

Jon and Gael were both only children who wanted their children to have a reliable network of family members in case one or both of them died so they really just went ham on having kids. The reason he gave them all G names was because all of Gael's family had G-names and since all except for one of his aunts and uncles survived to at least adulthood with a G name he thought it was a lucky letter. Though it was DEFINITELY confusing at dinners.

Garroth/Lucinda trans solidarity.

Garroth being made fun of when he was younger for 'looking boyish' and Garroth being actually happy about it, but unable to express it.

Garroth ending up being tall and broad, and then bulking up enough that he mostly just looks like a cis guy who doesn't grow facial hair.

Lucinda clocking him anyway, and saying she's got a little something that would fix the 'no facial hair' issue.

Garroth suddenly understanding why Lucinda is so insistant about showing off her curves. She made em' herself to fit(Magic is awesome).

Lucinda and Garroth both being surprised when Laurance and Aphmau find out and basicly just respond 'cool' and move on.

Garroth and Lucinda ending up as much closer friends than in the original series.

bigotry-free fantasy would be fun for the way we could have a situation where Garte is ok with Garroth being trans but NOT ok with him going to guard school or refusing to have an arranged marriage—also imagine transmasc Garroth and transfem Nicole not knowing the other is trans and fully expecting the Scaleswind/Okhasis heir to be a son/daughter respectively so it catches them SO off-guard when they find out

Some Mystreet headcannons;

Aaron definitely has a tattoo sleeve on one of his arms, he still wears his dog-tags from military-school (despite the rules, he felt more free then with his dad.)

Aphmau has ADHD, like terribly, and will often hyperfixate on small things for DAYS, She's medicated, but often forgets to take it.

Garroth is a Bi disaster, he just doesn't realize it. People he currently has crushes on? Aphmau, Kim, Laurance, and Aaron (Brought on by watching how sweetly he treats Aphmau, go figure.)

Katelyn and Aphmau made out once in college, after Luca obviously. Neither have mentioned it since but both enjoyed it.

Kawaii~Chan and Aaron are incredibly close freinds, She knew about his chocolate allergy before Aphmau did and would make him peanut-butter based sweets. Aaron is also incredibly protective (and affectionate) of her, just much as he is of Aph.

Zane and Kim share snark, with them constantly trading barbs and antagonizing each other. It's fine, they love it, it drives Ghost mad.

Nicole is related to the Lycan family, not directly, but she calls the Lycan sibs "Cousin"

Vlayd can see the future, it's why he bailed after season 1, fuck that shit, he's in Vegas.

Lucinda has tried to get everyone in bed with her at least once, at varying points.

Getting around to talking about how wildly impractical the pd guard dormitories are with @cinnamontoastcroonch @aph-cronch @trans-garroth @shadowqnights and co. (if I didn’t tag you so sorry, I can’t find your tumblr :( )

From what we’ve gathered:

- The Phoenix Drop guard dormitories are criminally small

- There’s so much space to stick your head through over the top and the sides they may as well be residing in American bathroom stalls

- They sleep on crates

- The crates are actually so high up against the walls that you could peer into the other person’s room just by sitting up straight

- Garroth put a curtain between them. Laurence ate it. They argued about the curtain for weeks.

- Garroth and Laurence are the only two left who actually live there/spend more than a night or two at a time there since Garroth is the only one who can handle Laurence’s nightly shenanigans

- Dante has a wife now but I like to think he shows up for sleepovers once a month

- The reason new recruits stay in their own homes rather than the dorms is because Garroth uses Laurence to haze them with his Shadow Knightliness

- I.e.: Telling them the place is haunted offhand and sicking Laurence at them after the sun goes down to see who will and won’t buckle under pressure
