I have returned to my Minecraft fixation after spending an ample amount of time in the Kingdom Hearts fandom.

And then my brain, at 3 am, while I was working on the final touches for my essay due tomorrow, thought: hey, what if that portal thingy Derek and Garte used to banish Michael, Zack and Elizabeth in MyStreet ended up ripping their dimension to shreds because it wasn't stable like it was in canon?

And I was like: Okay

Then my brain added: What if the little Ro'Meave bros survived because of Divine Warrior blood coursing through their veins, and they somehow ended up in Empired S1?

Thus, another weird AU was born.

Not the first weird AU I thought about but certainly the first one I decided to post here for some reason.

MCD Heathers AU

I didn't ask for this, I had a passing teehee funny thought and then it stopped being funny and actually turned out to be a brain worm that took over all my neurons. I do not know what the fuck happened to make this AU but here we are.

Main thing to know before I come up here and elaborate in a later draft, this AU is imagining a production of Heathers featuring the cast and crew of mcd. It's an AU that's largely non magical other than the furry stuff, and it's distinctly the mcd characters and how I characterize them, not the MyStreet version of these characters. I think I've made my... thoughts on the matter of MyStreet characterization well known.

Anyways, the real actual main thing I meant to write was that this AU is also two productions. One is the main cast, and then there's the Understudy Cast! I might put that in a separate post because holy fuck this is already going to be a lot and I have to pull the entire cast of Heathers out of the pits of my memories.

This is way cooler. My source for all of the things I will ever say about this AU come mainly from the fact that I was in a production of it. Also I found the entire original libretto and read it all in a single night.

MYSTREET FIT REVIEW - CADENZA ZVHAL

1. MYSTREET SEASON ONE - CASUAL

5/10

Love the long hair, everything else is passable. The white tank with the jean shrots and the leather belt/shoes were the height of summer fasion in 2015-16, both in minecraft and the real world, but the red and green cardigan gives off the appearance of this being a holiday fit Jesson repurposed into her everyday casual. The actual design of the cardigan is a bit of a mess at the torso. The flat white gives the impression that Cadenza is either wearing a tube top over her cardigan or the backpiece is just attached to her belt (jesson probably just forgot to color it in tbh). It’s an okay fit, I just don’t believe that Cadenza would wear her christmas casual year round.

MYSTREET SEASON ONE - FORMAL

Cadenza’s dress is good in theory but the execution is awkward. Green fits Cadenza’s color scheme, an off shoulder waterfall dress fits the trends of the era, and the side cutouts add to Cadenza’s fem vibe. The shade of green competes with Cadenza’s hair for attention and is shaded awkwadly, the sleeves are mirrored incorrectly, and the cutouts are barely visible from most angles. The dress issues are mostly due to the limitations of the minecraft skins, but the haircut is entirely human error. Cadenza’s iconic knee length locks have been cut to her waist, another vicious casualty of Jesson’s urge to give all their feminine characters boringly similar hair. Awful, I hate it here.

PHOENIX DROP HIGH - UNIFORM

6/10

Even though the PDH uniform is kind of ugly on its own, Cadenza looks fine here. The dull white and grays help her hair pop, and the blue in the tie compliments her eyes. Unlike MYS, the waist length hair isn’t an utter crime. Growing hair takes time so it makes sense for her hair to be shorter, and it’s still in the same style as mystreet casual. Literally just Cadenza in highschool.

MYSTREET SEASON 3 - CASUAL

1/10

That green looks nice on Cadenza. It’s the only salvagable part of this ensemble. Waist hair Cadenza is a crime and a tragedy. The half green, half brown sweater seems like it only exists be a very obvious indicator of her relation to Laurance, because Jesson doesn’t trust their audience to remember who’s who without color association. This is a sweater that only s3 Laurance would wear, and excellent symbol of how jarring his transformation from the token green major character to the cartoonishly obsessed with brown minor character was. Speaking of brown, Cadenza’s tips are totally lost in this shade of brown. Her black skirt with that white stripe doesn’t match anything, unacceptable for a fashion icon. Cadenza deserved better

PHOENIX DROP HIGH - FORMAL

Starting off strong with literally a suit. It is a very boring suit. Black suit with the white button up and a dark blue tie. The tie kinda disappears in the suit, fitting for Garte

MYSTREET - CASUAL

Apparently, Garte and Laurance shop at the same golf supply store. However, this is acceptable for someone of Garte’s age and status. The dark blue, light blue stripe pattern unfortuneutaly ends at a point that makes the pants look as if they are an extension of the shirt.

Earlier in this episode, it was confirmed that Garte had a mineral collection. I was unaware that this included his rock hard abs.

This is the season where they really leaned into his dadness, and the clashing, ugly fit is evidence of that. I mean, it’s supposed to look bad. Zane can only tell Garroth and Garte apart from the back based on how nice their ensemble is. The nasty is purposeful
