I’ve been thinking about it and I think the funniest explanation for why Omega, a 100% genetic match to Jango, is female isn’t because she’s trans, but because JANGO is trans and it’s the rest of the GAR that’s made up of cross-sex clones. I mean, think about it: the Kaminoans are already doing all sorts of genetic modifications to them and Jango is a man, so obviously the army of clones made from his genetic template would be men too. No one would ever question it.

Kaminoan morality allows for the creation of millions of sentient clones for use as cannon fodder, but god forbid you out someone without their explicit consent.

Airing my Grievances about the Star Wars fandom right now

So a lot people are upset and being rather transphobic about Sister, the transgender clone trooper from 2022 now recently getting official art. I'm just going to make a short post to air my own grievances about the complaints.

Clone Trooper 99 was defective and was still utilized. He died with honor while fighting alongside his brothers.

Chances are you never watched the Bad Batch or paid attention to anything outside the pew pews.

Literally in the first episode of the Clone Wars series, Yoda points out how despite being clones, each one is unique. This is pre-Disney buyout of Lucasfilm, no excuses here. (0:38 seconds in)

I'm not trans or in the LGBTQ community so take what I say next with a grain of salt (I'm your basic cishet male).

If anything, my only complaint is that I feel the color on her armor is a bit too on the nose. I had a similar problem with The Acolyte with Osha being all "Is he, or they, with us?". Just keep it to the point and natural and ask "Are they with us?"

I just feel the colors are a bit too on the nose are these are earth trans-flag colors (or close to it). While purples and blues are one of my favorite color schemes, why are we using earth-trans colors? Or perhaps a short backstory for the significance of these colors to Sister?

Just keep it in plain sight without having to draw it out. The trans Twi'lek from Book of Boba Fett is a good example.

But yeah if you're misgendering her and referring to her as "it", then you're a pos and can go jump in a Sarlacc pit.

That is my take on the current Star Wars discourse going on. Transphobia sucks and those complaining about this haven't really paid attention to the messages in Star Wars whatsoever.

Ok so this message is disgusting ngl, but I will *try* (and fail) to take your message in good faith, and assume the weirder parts of it are born from ignorance and not a wish to other and harm members of the queer *community*, especially bi and trans people.... Right ?

No, not everyone in my sw au is a lesbian, or cis, that's why it's called a sapphic au and not a lesbian au. I started listing specific orientations in my recap, even if I usually like keaping it ambiguous.

But your message kinda rubbed me the wrong way :) so just for you anon, let me share the most bi aspects of my au !

- Padmé had multiple relationships before Anakin, Palo and Rush Clovis, both men.

- I ship Vader and Boba Fett, and in my au Vader uses he/him (contrary to Anakin who uses she/her, link to a previous ask were I explain it further) and Boba she/her, making it *technically* a het adjacent ship, and Boba bisexual.

- Obi wan and Lando are bisexual because obviously.

- I really like the idea of Luke being asexual bi romantic, and I like both the Luke/Biggs Darklighter and Luke/Zevulon Veers ships, both men (rip the Han/Luke shippers kdidkdk I respect it, but I prefer Hanleia-)

- And while I'm at it, Luke Lando and Han are all different flavors of non binary, so not women. (As a lesbian I do find non binary people attractive, and know non binary lesbians. But seeing how this ask is formulated, I just felt the need to reinstate that <3)

To sum it up, in my sapphic au I concider Obi wan, Padmé, Boba Fett, Lando, Leia and Luke bisexuals :)
