Seeing how they both have reasons to despise Andrealphus now - I mean Blitzø almost died/potentially lost his entire crew and almost Stolas because of this feathered asshole - convinced that Blitzø would be caught between cheering Stolas on and processing that this is the hottest thing he's ever seen and he'd be badly struggling with the urge to fuck Stolas over it. 🤣 Like he's being so patient and caring right now and focusing on showing a caretaking/romantic love instead of physicality. Witnessing this would've reeeeeeeeally tested that. You can't tell me he wouldn't want to do one of those M&M moves where they just make out immediately after a fight.

Hopefully he gets to experience it in some form someday. 🥺

Also, at the very beginning of their backstory fight, he goes, "I can see why Moxxie was so impressed with you." So not only was he interested in bringing her into the team because she was genuinely good, but also he noted that Moxxie was impressed (and maybe he noticed that Moxxie was immediately simping). So bringing Millie into the team was both because she had undeniable potential and because she already made an impact on one of his other team/found family members.

Every day I understand more why some people have trouble with watching Helluva.

A lot of details and characterizations are not explicitly shown, but are shown indirectly and you need to rewatch and dig deeper for yourself and catch those details.

I won’t enter into the debate of wether that is good or bad storytelling. Is just a way to do it, for some people work, for some don’t. That’s it.

One recent example: some people was puzzled why Blitzø saw a family with Stolas and Octavia, and they think is Out of character he wants that.

However, with small details they have shown that was Blitz’s driving force since the beginning. But even himself didn’t realized until now that he has opened his heart.

Examples:

If he was trully a cold blooded asshole he wouldn’t have adopted Loona. Never never… he would have adopted a more aggressive and deathly hellhound if he really only was there for the business. Immediately seeing her as his daughter for no reason.

Like, all his façade is just bullshit just bc of that… but I will tell you something else.

When we see his backstory at the circus we see how his life was. A family circus… a family business… having an office for a circus=having his family in better work conditions. He recreated this in his adult life.

Adopting people on the way because he connected with them. Of course, he brought Millie to the team because how amazingly good she is. But don’t you think he also felt a connection with her too? An special one? This is shown while they are fighting. He enjoys fighting with her. Wrath imps culture circules around fights. This is a way they bond. He wanted her there because he felt a connection.

With Moxxie was the same. The exact same thing. He is just there adopting people he feels this connection with to recreate the circus.

Now, the next step for that would be expand that family with his current SO and his daughter; because his wish hasn’t just been having the circus family kind again, he have always wanted a romantic partner too. He has been months regretting having lost Stolas. Months to think about what could have been, about how he is the person he loves and probably could have formed a family with if having the chance.

People are just not willing to think if they are not clearly shown something. Also, is an indie cartoon so they don’t have much time to show things and they need to progress the story.

But essentially the problem people have with HB is that one.

They have a problem with Millie because she is not directly shown having things outside the main cast because she isn’t usually focused. Her backstory episode was also an important Blitzø episode, so they think is as simple as saying: all her development revolves around men. As if Blitz’s development didn’t revolved around the people he cares.

They don’t think is important to her character that she is the one keeping them together in hard times. They don’t think this relates to how sometimes she doesn’t feel seen. She is the best in assassin but still… she doesn’t feel seen.

She was a regular assassins when she met Blitzø. She wasn’t one considered special or anything. Blitzø was the one who saw that potential and saw HER!

This is why he is her bestie.

Does anyone else feel like he ended up at the party because Blitzø insulting him at Bee's kinda turned him into an easy target for everyone? Blitzø was actually pretty popular at Bee's party, and he very loudly rejected Dennis like the guy had cooties. Next time we see him is at Ver's party, and as soon as Blitzø blames something on him, everyone's so quick to jump on the, "You fucking suck, Dennis." train immediately.

Okay maybe Dennis deserved to be at the I hate Blitzo Party —-just a smidge. He’s so upset —

Guys, we're forgetting something really important and I'm gonna give you something to think about.

What if DHORKS and the CHERUB discover Barbie on Earth and find out her real identity and then kidnap her to use her as a bargaining chip with IMP?

Both of them are insanely good. Blitzø and Stolas both require a lot of nuance and variance in tone, volume, mood, etc., and a lot of their dialogue has secondary meaning depending on how it's phrased or spoken. Honestly I don't think the show would be what it was without either of them (okay especially without Brandon considering how involved he is with the direction of it). For an earlier softer Blitzø moment that hit hard, we can reference the famous, "He can get hurt?" and how many layers of meaning that sentence had in Western Energy, and how Brandon somehow conveyed them all at once.

I think my favorite "soft Blitzø" line from Sinsmas is the way he delivers the, "...and you?" during the dance scene.

Blitzø acknowledges that the two of them have probably always looked ridiculous together based on their height difference. But the "and you?" he uses to mention how tall Stolas is makes it very clear that even if they "look ridiculous" together, he finds Stolas' height appealing/attractive... Of course, then he compares Stolas to a horse, which super means it's a compliment. But I think it's one of the first times Blitzø directly compliments something about Stolas, and idk, the line delivery is so subtle but effective.

I've praised Bryce before. God knows I love his performance as Stolas and this episode was equally great.

But I need to sing Brandon's praises too. Like... We knew he would be amazing at the comedy and the insane energy that Blitz bring. He's a master at that, a master at quick comedy.

And that energy translate so well to Blitz' emotional breakdowns too. You can feel everything.

But... I just really wanna highlight when Blitz is calm, when he's sweet, or sad or just content. Just casual.. It's a side we don't see of Brandon often and it's just... Idk so believable? It's so natural and nice. Idk why but the line "anything I can get that's affordable?" from this episode just really drove home for me what a well rounded and great actor he really is.

It's a pet theory of mine that the bad sex she was referring to in Ozzie's was one incident - specifically the one where Blitzø dumped her at the hotel/took off with her car. She references that he didn't reciprocate any of the sexual pleasuring she did first - I could see a situation where the, "I love you," came out during or immediately after that, and with Blitzø very heavily in his emotional walls era, he booked it and ran instead of "reciprocating." He and Verosika seem to put up similar gutsy attitudes and blunt insults to avoid getting hurt. I could see her using the claim that he was bad in bed to avoid the admitting that he actually threw her love confession in her face. No proof of that, though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One thing I appreciate in the Helluva Boss fandom is that most people listen to Verosika Mayday 's claims about Blitzo being bad in bed, and are like.

"You're saying that you were won over by his PERSONALITY?! His personality from before he had the genuine confidence and self-worth from being his own Boss and owning his own business?? I keep seeing all these posts about Millie's pregnancy test and Blitzø trying to figure out whose it is and flipping out, and there's one funny/maybe kind of sad once you process it scenario people aren't really mentioning:

I don't even think Stolas would know what that pregnancy test was if you showed it to him.

He's probably never seen one before and doesn't know how they work. Generally fertilized bird eggs are laid within days. Being a semi-immortal Hellborn species, maybe we can extend that to a couple weeks or even a month for bird Goetia. But that's not very long and kind of when pregnancy test results start being accurate. There are maybe some initial egg signs, but I'm guessing by the time bird Goetia are certain they're going to have a kid, the egg shows up. I don't see him having actual proper sex education, either. You can't tell me he was given the tools to fully understand how the process worked for anything besides the basics that involved his marriage. He's had maybe a textbook on bird Goetia and otherwise learned sex via his romance/erotica books, many of which seem to revolve around other bird Goetia.

I think current hints point to at least one of her/Adrealphus' parents being a PoS. Which unfortunately a lot of people are going to miss the point that's probably going to try to make. I'm guessing they are a flip of Stolas and Blitzø's situations:

Trying to break cycles of abuse/neglect vs. perpetuating them

"We had a bad parent and are learning to be better" vs. "We had a bad parent and learned to be the same/worse."

"We're resistant to the shitty parts of our society" vs. "We molded ourselves into the shitty parts of our society until we were the shitty part."

But yeah I hope they still manage to keep her a shallow petty bitch as well because there's really something to her being so thoughtless that even her brother is aware of/frustrated by it.

Late Night Opinion:

I've heard we're supposed to be getting a Stella backstory in season 3 of helluva boss. I am both excited and a little worried. I know everyone wants to know why she's such a bitch, but I honestly just want her to be a bitch cause that's just her personality. I don't want to feel sympathy for her. I want to enjoy the fact she's a cold-hearted fucking bitch and love and hate her.
