still haven’t managed to make anything substantial but here’s some evidence that I have at least picked up my tablet pen today

This was a thing I drew back in 2012. Incoming students at my art school were invited to introduce ourselves by drawing a postcard which would be displayed during the first school show of the year.

Apparently, the thing I considered most important about myself in 2012 was... liking Steel Ball Run lmao. Which, to be fair, got me back into drawing comics, which was one of the reasons I went to art school in the first place. So I guess it deserved it.

This was the latest design I had for Cindy. I might change it again, though.

She was inspired by a particular kind of person I would see sometimes at school. Yk, the beautiful and immaculately groomed people who somehow never get paint on themselves, while the rest of us were frazzled slobs covered in blotches of titanium white.

Now that I think about it, I kinda like the idea of her being more grungy. Maybe she needs a new set of clothes, by which I mean some old ratty painting clothes.
