Ace was currently stomping down the steps of a spiral staircase. The metal beneath his feet was loud and echoed through the dim chamber with each step. He always made this much noise when he visited David, or at least he usually did. There wasn’t much point in being quiet.

…No, wait. There was. Being quiet always made David happy. He claimed that not knowing when Ace would finally descend was exciting. Ace didn’t really understand it, but sometimes he’d indulge the man. And since he was feeling nice today, he quieted his steps as much as possible when he was about half way down the steps. He then silently crept forward down them.

David was always complaining about that. Boredom. He claimed it was almost always an inescapable feeling to him. Something that would always strike at him just when he thought he’d made it leave. Or at least that had been the case before the killing game. He never elaborated after he explained that, just stared off at the wall and presumably imagined their classmates’ gruesome deaths.

Ace suddenly stopped his descent down the stairs for a moment. Last time Ace had visited, David had complained his arrival had become too easy to predict, since he always took the same amount of time to climb down the staircase. Ace had told him that was too fucking bad, and he wouldn’t stand on the stairs doing nothing just to please him. And at the time, he’d meant it. But his resolve didn’t hold when he thought about David’s delighted smile, so now here he was, crouching on the stairs like an idiot.

In order to entertain himself, Ace decided to reflect on how he’d even gotten here in the first place. Since when had pleasing David been a priority? Or David in general? He supposed it all started the day he’d overheard his secret.

David and Arei had been loudly talking in the Relaxation Room. The name of said room had gotten more and more ironic as time went on, since it was more well-known for arguments than it was for actual relaxing.

Now, if Ace was a kind individual who respected others’ privacy, he would’ve covered his ears or exited the floor so he couldn’t overhear, or maybe go tell them how loudly they were talking and that they should go somewhere else if they didn’t want him listening. But alas, Ace was not a kind individual. He was a nosy bitch who wanted to know what Arei was fussing about. So instead, he had exited the gym as quietly as possible and stood outside the Relaxation Room, eavesdropping on their entire conversation. Even if his hearing hadn’t been as great as it was, it wouldn’t have mattered because he doubted that he wouldn’t have heard them even from the other end of the hallway.

He supposed it made sense that Arei wasn’t putting too much effort into being discreet, since it wasn’t her secret she was exposing. David, on the other hand, seemed to be panicking too much to actually consider the fact he shouldn’t be talking as loud as he was.

After their conversation had ended, Ace had slipped back into the gym and waited for the two of them to leave. And in the trial the next day, he’d shared what he had overheard.

It was hard to describe the expression David had stared at him with at that moment. Complete surprise, at first. But then came something more unexpected. He’d tilted his head slightly, and stared at him with something resembling fascination. It didn’t last long, and soon after he saw it Ace decided that maybe that hadn’t been what he was seeing at all. He’d never been good at reading faces, so it made sense that he could’ve misread David calculating his next move as intrigue directed at him.

Teruko, unsurprisingly, uncovered David’s lies about being the culprit. It really wasn’t too hard, since he couldn’t seem to explain what half the items at the crime scene were even used for. And after that whole fiasco, which was admittedly partially Ace’s fault for even throwing blame onto David in the first place, Teruko had reanalysed the evidence and found the true culprit. Then came an execution that Ace did not wish to mentally revisit any time soon.

The unexpected part came after the trial, when Ace had been walking back to his room. That was when David had called out to him. “Hey.” David said, his voice not being forced into its usual chipper tone. Good, that voice had driven Ace insane. “Wait.” David ordered, taking a step closer.

Ace was, admittedly, nervous when the encounter began. Everyone else had entered their dorm rooms already, and given David’s attempt to get them all killed earlier with no regards for his own well-being, Ace wasn’t completely certain David wouldn’t murder him right then and there, uncaring about the prospect of being caught. But David didn’t seem to be interested in that as he asked, “Can we go somewhere else to talk?”

Ace had blinked a few times, completely silent. Why the fuck would he ever consider doing that—

“If you don’t, you’ll regret it.” David said. His tone had shifted from monotone to vaguely threatening, and Ace got the feeling that if he didn’t listen, he’d definitely end up with a knife stabbed into somewhere he didn’t want it to be.

So Ace had given him a shaky nod, agreeing to go with him. David turned and walked towards the infirmary. “This place has the walls that are the most sound-proof.” David told him as he closed the door behind him. “Which isn’t very sound-proof, but enough that you’d have to have be very close to the door in order to hear anything. And no one followed us, so we don’t need to worry about that.” David was saying all this as though it should somehow lessen Ace’s worries about the situation, not heighten them.

“Why the fuck is that a good thing for me?” He asked without thinking. He wondered afterwards if maybe he should’ve been more polite to the person who was likely planning to murder him. The chances of him being spared probably dropped with every word he said.

David raised an eyebrow as he turned back to face him. “Oh, trust me. You don’t want anyone overhearing this just as much as I do.”

“I’m sure my corpse will appreciate the solitude that comes with no one finding my body until morning.” Ace shot back, then once again internally berated himself for speaking without thinking.

To Ace’s surprise, David barked out a laugh. “What? Do you think I’m going to murder you? Of course not. You’re no use to me if you’re dead.”

“No…Use to you…?” Ace repeated, confused.

“Mhm.” David took a step closer. “I didn’t hear you listening to me and Arei. You’re good at sneaking around.”

“...Okay?” Ace was now very confused. He had no idea where this was going.

“Which means you could be useful.” David leaned forward slightly and looked him up and down. Then he smiled. Not one of his idol smiles. This one was crooked and imperfect. “It seems I’ve found my traitor.”

“I–What?” Ace asked, squirming slightly as David gaze drifted over his small frame, seemingly analyzing everything he could.

“I’ve decided that you’re going to be my traitor.” David answered, as though that explained literally anything. When he saw Ace was still confused, he groaned at the prospect of having to explain further, before seemingly reconsidering his disappointment and deciding a dramatic reveal was more fun anyway.

“Alright, I’ll start with the basics. Ace, you’re staring at the mastermind behind this killing game.” David said. He gleefully watched Ace’s reaction. The jockey immediately stepped back from him, his expression panicked and for good reason. His hasty step backwards, however, made him trip, causing him to crash to the ground. David sighed as Ace pressed his back against the wall, shaking.

“Don’t worry. Nothing bad will happen to you as long as you do as I say.” David assured him. “In fact, I’d say you’re far safer now than you were before, since I’m protecting you.”

While Ace was aware that this situation wasn’t looking good, he couldn’t help but perk up at the mention of safety. “...What do I have to do?” He asked hesitantly.

“Mostly just what you were already doing. Causing as much chaos and as many disagreements as possible. Just try to target people other than Nico sometimes. All that tension really helps create the perfect atmosphere for a murder. And that knack for sneaking around you seem to have will allow you to sneak off to find me pretty easily, so communicating in private shouldn’t be too hard.”

“How do I know that you’re actually the mastermind?” Ace asked, wondering if this was all some  elaborate ploy to murder him. Or maybe David was just trying to get him to do what he said in order to get him to assist in murdering someone else.

David pondered his question for a moment. “Hmm…Well, I need to show you where we’ll meet to talk anyway. If I show you a room only the mastermind would know about, would you believe me?” David reached out a hand towards him. Ace stared at it for a moment, aware that taking it would both be an agreement to follow him, as well as one to take on his new role. Not that he’d had much of a choice to begin with.

He took David’s hand, and David smiled that crooked smile again. “Yes? Alright, let’s go.” He pulled Ace up off the ground and they headed off towards the storage room. David brought him to the back of the room, and moved one of the boxes on the shelves, which contained a few useless items. Behind it there was a piece of wall that he pressed down, and as a result a doorway opened up, the wall covering it slid to the side. The beginning of a spiral staircase could be seen.

“Now do you believe me?” David asked. Ace nodded numbly, wondering what terrible luck they all must’ve had to never find this even after relentless searching.

“In that case, I’ll see you tomorrow. We’ll meet down there.” David decided. The door automatically closed after a few more seconds, and they headed back to their dorms.

After that, Ace had continued to sow chaos among his classmates. Since to them this was only a minor downgrade from his usual behavior, it passed by unnoticed. David seemed happy with that outcome. He also seemed happy that Ace was indeed just as skilled as he thought he was at sneaking around, never being caught once while coming to meet with him.

It appeared that David really had picked out the perfect traitor.

This little one-shot was supposed to be posted on ao3 and added to my acevid one-shot collection, but I'm not sure I'll ever end up doing that. I actually wrote more, but I couldn't figure out how to end it nicely and since this piece is under my usual goal of 2000 words if I end it here, I decided to post it on Tumblr instead. Maybe I'll post an updated version to ao3 one day (or this version if I decide I like it enough).

All this is to say, if you're wondering why this included very minimal acevid-y stuff, that's because all the toxic yaoi is in the ending that I refuse to post (I never thought I'd use the phrase 'toxic yaoi' but here we are haha).

I decided to try giving them a more toxic dynamic this go around by making David a despair-obsessed mastermind, but soon discovered while I was writing the ending that I'm bad at making toxic relationship stuff and I feel like it ended up looking like me romanticizing a toxic dynamic so. It stays in the drafts for now. But all this is the part that I was decently proud of.

DRDT MASTERMIND AU!

Every DRDT was a past participant of a killing game. Now, they are all being forced to play in one more killing game.

The only unknown thing..? They’re all masterminds. (An AU made because of the mass amounts of mastermind aus on Tumblr right now and honestly I’m a huge fan of all of them.)

Teruko Tawaki - ..Actually the only one who hasn’t participated in a killing game. The mastermind who was supposed to participate (her brother from the orphanage) mysteriously disappeared. So they went to..other measures.

Xander Matthews - Survived by defeating the mastermind (canon Danganronpa endings).

Eden Tobisa - Escaped due to a motive where if someone got away with killing, they could bring someone with them. (Was horrified and ran away into society to distract herself from the killing game. This ended up being her downfall as it gave the producers ideas as to where she was.)

Min Jeung - Survived because the mascot had decided to revive a random participant as the blackened ending up stabbing themself as everyone got executed

Hu Jing - Survived because the mascot was broken (chapter 4). This is why MonoTV is so strong now, since the killing game had ended before because of the mascot being destroyed.

J Rosales - Survived by defeating the mastermind

Charles Cuevas - Survived by winning the trial (the matter was so traumatizing for him that his brain completely blocked out the fact and makes blood repulsive)

Arturo Giles - Survived because he wasn’t an actual participant in the killing game, but rather a helper to the mascot

Arei Nageishi - Survived because she ended up killing her sister who was a fellow participant in the killing game and won the trial by guilt-tripping everyone

Ace Markey - Survived by defeating the mastermind

Nico Hakobyan - Survived because they were a traitor in their killing game

Whit Young - Survived because outsiders ended up saving the killing game participants during chapter three

SPECIAL - DAVID & DARLIN' | WIP WEDNESDAY !!

teenage david & darlin' siblings au (+alive gabe lololol) | yes, this is a work in progress. i started it over a year ago and have been stopping and restarting for so long 💀 it was meant to be a multi-chapter fic (of around 15 chapters) and i never got past 4 😭😭

cw - darlin' angst, mentions of toxic relationships (quinn & darlin'), sibling arguments, teenagers doing teenager shit (sneaking out & getting drunk), lots of cursing and name-calling, no sam or any of the mates because of the high school setting

David never really considered himself a rebellious child, and compared to his sibling and packmates, he really wasn’t. Then again, it wasn’t as if he'd never done things he wasn’t supposed to. But those things were spread out enough for him to blame it on teenage impulse.

At least he was self-aware.

But sneaking out was one thing he could never justify to himself or wanted to do in the first place.

Yet here he was. Sneaking out.

Asher got invited to this party a friend of a friend was hosting and was told to bring whoever he felt like. David and Milo were obviously the very first and only people he thought to invite. They were the only people he knew would come with him or at the very least not snitch on him.

The situation he was now in came back to his inability to say no to Asher. Surely this counts as peer pressure.

They were at Asher's house that Friday night, under the guise of a routine sleepover. They stayed until his parents fell asleep before sneaking out the front door and into Asher’s father’s car.

The whole car ride was quite uneventful, Asher and Milo having a conversation about something while David sat in the back trying to ignore the anxiety pooling in his stomach.

It had been all of twelve minutes after they’d arrived before Milo slipped one of those cliché red solo cups into his hand. David didn’t hesitate to down the whole thing.

He heard Asher and Milo laugh at him and felt the slap on his back when he was done.

David leaned back onto the couch with a small groan, barely audible amidst the noise of the music playing throughout the house. He could already feel the tension bleeding out of his body as the alcohol heated his body.

When he turned his head, Asher and Milo were already laughing while downing their drinks with their arms intertwined.

It was gonna be a long night.

Of course, nothing in their life goes correctly.

Of course, the night after they broke up with Quinn would be an absolute shit show. They didn’t even care that he was showing up to this party, they just wanted him to stay on the other side of the house for the next five hours while they tried to forget about him.

But when does anything go their way?

They were just sitting on the couch on their phone waiting for a friend to come back when Quinn appeared in front of them, menacing aura and all. They had half a mind to ignore him but then he just had to start running his mouth.

They only really caught the comments on them being a traitor, a worthless dog and a disappointment to everyone who ever cared about them. The alcohol in their system was making their comprehension fuzzy.

They don’t remember what they said in response but by the look in Quinn’s cold undead eyes, it pissed him off. And that made them feel good. 

Quinn kept yelling and yelling and Tank found themselves yelling back once again. They didn’t know if anyone else was paying attention to both of them and frankly, they didn’t care, if people wanted to watch how much of a clown Quinn was when he felt threatened, they could.

Tank enjoyed the feeling of being the only one to make Quinn lash out like this. 

It was kind of special.

David groans softly as he steps out of the house, the owner of which he didn’t even know, loud music pounding against its walls, not helping his budding headache. 

He pulls out his phone and forces himself to call his Dad’s contact before he can talk himself out of it.

He knew this was a bad idea

You would think being the oldest and most level-headed teenager in the pack would make him resistant to Asher’s stupid ideas. But alas, he’s just a teenage boy who was bored on a Friday night with a social butterfly as a best friend. 

Gabe picks up the phone, his voice groggy from sleep. “David?” 

“Uhm, Dad?” David winces at how nervous he sounds.

“Something wrong, buddy? Are you boys alright?” He asks, worry starting to make itself apparent in his tone and David feels guilt building inside of him.

Yeah, this was a really bad idea.

“I-” He closed his eyes and inhaled a sharp breath as his vision blurred, “I’m really sorry in advance but I need you to pick me, Ash and Milo up.”

There was silence on the other line for a moment before Gabe spoke up again, “Okay.. why?”

David had to take a few deep breaths to calm the panicked feeling in his stomach before he could continue. “One of Ash’s friends was hosting a party at their house and the three of us snuck out of Ash’s house to go. Ash and Milo are both wasted and I’m not sober either so I called you. I’m really really sorry..” 

The sigh of disappointment from his father made him wince.

“Send me the address, I’m on my way.”

David swallowed hard and nodded before realizing Gabe couldn’t see him. “Okay. Thank you.” He whispered back.

“Thank you for calling me, David.”

David didn’t say anything before Gabe hung up. He sent the house address quickly before he stepped back inside the house. Asher and Milo were in the same position they were in before he left, draped across each other on the couch giggling about absolutely nothing.

David collapses next to the both of them, “My Dad’s on his way.”

There was no reason for that to be funny, quite the opposite actually, but for some reason, Asher and Milo started laughing hysterically. David rolls his eyes, immediately regretting it because of how much worse it makes his headache, and buries his flushed face in his palms.

“It’s not even funny, I’m so dead,” Asher snickers into Milo’s side.

Milo replies with a cackle and David groans quietly.

This night could not get any worse.

David had all but dragged Asher and Milo outside when his father had gotten there, stumbling a bit himself but he got the three of them to the car where his father was standing. 

Asher and Milo’s obnoxious laughter stopped as soon as they saw their Alpha standing tall and pissed outside the house. David could’ve rolled his eyes at the way both of them hung their heads and mumbled a “sorry, Gabe”, climbing into the car with their figurative tails between their legs if he wasn’t scared shitless himself. 

He avoids his father’s eye contact as he walks around to the passenger side after closing the door. 

David expected his dad to enter the car after them and start the car and the lecture, but he looked up long enough to see him still standing against the car and watching the house. David was about to open his mouth and ask what he was doing when he saw Tank leaving the house as well and walking towards the car. 

“Sovereigns above…” Gabe sighs heavily, leaning against the car in exasperation, “Are you kidding me?” 

Tank huffs and opens the car door without looking at Gabe, “Yes, yes I know. You’re such a bad kid, you could’ve died and I wouldn’t know blah blah blah. I was gonna call you, promise.” 

Gabe seems to roll his eyes as they get into the car, “Anyone else in there I should know about?” 

No one in the car says anything so Gabe takes it as his turn to get in the car. 

David turns in his seat to look at Tank putting their seatbelt on, “What are you doing here?”

They look over at him, raising an eyebrow, “I could ask you the same thing, Davey.” They spit the nickname out like a curse. 

“Don’t call me that.” David’s look turns sour, “But I asked you first.” 

“Parties aren’t exactly your scene, I think my question is more important.” 

“You don’t have friends, who invited you?” 

“Fuck you, I have more friends than you do Mr. Grinch-looking ass.” 

“Are their names Jack and Shit?” 

“Do you want to get beat the fuck up?” 

“You can try.” 

“You ugly toad-“ 

“Wet dog-“ 

“Both of you.” Gabe cuts in sternly, “Cut it out. You’re both in trouble and you’ll both have to explain what on earth you were doing at that party without telling anyone.” 

“I think that means you and me are out of the water-“ Asher whispers to Milo.

“Both of you too. I’ve called both of your parents already.” 

“Shit...” Asher laughs anyway. Milo sinks lower into his seat as if he was trying to hide from the world, as if the gravity of the situation had just caught up to him. 

David huffs and leans back into the seat, looking out the window with a new resolve. 

He’s never hearing Ash out again.

Gabe opens the front door and lets both teenagers into the house before himself, closing it after he enters. 

David and Tank were both still bickering with each other in the entryway as they took their shoes off. 

Asher was dropped off first, thanking and apologizing to Gabe a final time before he slipped out of the car and strolled up to his door. David saw him say something along the lines of “I’m so sorry Mommy” to the doorbell camera by the door and actually rolled his eyes that time. 

Milo’s mom was already at the door by the time Gabe had dropped him off, Tank had snorted at all the colour draining from Milo’s face as he left the car, stuttering through a “thank you, Gabe”. 

The remaining three could hear Marie yelling at him through the car even without their heightened senses.  

Gabe was silent the whole car ride home and so were his two teenagers. Up until they got home. 

“You still haven’t told me what you were doing at the house,” David breaks the silence between him and Tank. 

Tank folds their arms and leans against the wall, “And you still haven’t told me what you were doing there.” 

He rolls his eyes, “I still asked first.” 

“I still think my question is more important.” 

“My question is automatically more important than yours.” 

Tank narrows their eyes, “And why, exactly?” 

“I’m older than you,”

Tank scoffs, “Meaning what?” 

“Meaning that you answer my questions first.” 

“All because you popped out of the womb a year before I did?" 

“Exactly.” 

“Well none of that’s gonna matter when I put you six feet under since you wanna be first so bad, dipshit-" 

Gabe sighs heavily, “Both of you, stop provoking each other. Phones on the counter now.” 

Both of them glare at the other before moving to set their phones on the kitchen counter with little hesitation. 

“Thank you.” Gabe nods and moves to sit at the kitchen island in front of both teenagers, “Now…”

pretend i havent been inactive for 100 years. i've been watching renegade nell and its giving me a new sketchbook au idea/accompanying doodles. essentially: fae highwaywoman johanna is on the run, kaisa is Out To Get Her with dark magic

you have to cut me some slack with how silly i sound. its the hyperfixation. im ill

i'm casting these freaks like actors. Johanna is Nell:

it is 1705, and barkeep Johanna has found herself a highwaywoman on the run for a murder she didn't do, accompanied by her daughters and aided by a little spirit named Alfur. she has found fae-like abilities, and despite her good intentions, she is now feared across half the country as an invincible murderess.

Kaisa is Sofia:

hunting her down is Kaisa, a lady whose family owns Johanna's pub, whose father Johanna is falsely accused of killing, and who is obsessed with catching her. she uses dark magic to fuck with Johanna's life remotely, summoning things to attack her etc - she may be untouchable when it comes to human enemies, but not magic. Kaisa herself is lonely, surprisingly empathetic, and is desperate to prove her worth and have control over her life.

she is a painter and illustrator still. she is struggling to find time for her hobbies

she would rather not be robbing people but has no problem if she needs to. the rich ones have more money than they know what to do with anyway, and if she has to take a horse from some poor guy, she leaves him with stolen valuables in exchange. she's a little robinhood about it.

i think it would be so fun to keep the mythical creatures around. watch out for Devilwoman Johanna who is strong enough to kill a troll!! (she would never)

yes Lauren (belonging to @blaithnne) is included. Nell is accompanied by her two little sisters, brave & helpful older sister Roxy, and funny & inquisitive little sister George. Lauren & Hilda take their place, and maybe Frida and David tag along hehe.

Lauren & Hilda keep getting taken hostage in attempts to get Jo to turn herself in, but they always get out of it. until they do, Hilda probably talks their ears off about dragons and Lauren makes terrifying threats.

no one else REALLY specifically fits character slots like Amadin, Thomas, and Charles (there aren't a lot of men in hilda lol) so i'm going to wing it and the other characters can fill their roles when needed maybe

Thomas is Sofia's brother who killed both their father and Nell's father, and is generally reckless, careless, and easily badly influenced. i'm actually thinking of putting 18yo Dylan (oc of mine who is Kaisa's younger sister) in his place. she is a lot sweeter in regular hilda universe but i think the plot & i could fuck with her character enough that she gains these insecure, irresponsibly cruel tendencies. sorry Dylan

both Johanna and Kaisa were witnesses when her father died. Kaisa knows she's innocent, but goes along with the accusation to save Dylan from being arrested and keep the family (and their place in society) from falling apart. I'm thinking of making Dylan a boy in this, to keep the dynamic of the land going to him when papa dies > he would be a terrible landlord > Kaisa gets to take the reigns and keep everything in working order because she actually cares and enjoys having things to watch over and work on

in general Kaisa is very lonely, has to work twice as hard for the power and respect men are given automatically, and yearns for the kind of freedom and support that Johanna has despite being an outlaw from a poor family.

i think David and Frida could fill Amadin's role as friends they pick up along the way. David's loyalty and voice of reason, and Frida's fierce protectiveness and determination to prove herself both remind me of his character.

i'm inclined to draw a blank for Poynton, the main villain, a Jacobite amongst the royal guard, the siblings' traitorous mentor in black magic, and the indirect reason their dad died in the first place. Tildy is Kaisa's mentor, but not an evil one. the closest Hilda has to real villains is Erik, and the head witches maybe, but none of them really hit the nail on the head for this guy. an au oc may be in order!!!

the Bellkeeper can be Charles maybe lol. he is an established highwayman leading a double life as both a wanted criminal and a aristocrat. he is suave, a little campy, and a firm believer that with confidence, you can sweet-talk anyone into believing you are anyone. he annoys Johanna into letting him tag along and help with disguises and plans just because he finds it fun.

Lady Eularia Moggerhanger runs the newspapers, and i'm splitting that between two characters for a couple reasons. Erik is the owner of the presses (not putting him in the royal guard because it wouldn't make sense for him to be a Jacobite rebel) who generally enjoys fearmongering and controlling the public.

Victoria is the head editor with a taste for dramatics but seeks the truth above all else, and happens to be the Bellkeeper's 'friend in high places' who begrudgingly bails him out of trouble.

Gerda replaces Polly, a good-hearted writer and believer of justice who falls head over heels for Jo when she gets highway-robbed by her and mistakes her for a man. is later appointed assistant editor of the newspaper.

this isn't meant to stick to the plot of renegade nell, there's a lot going on and it would be easier (and more interesting) to figure out an original plot with this different cast of characters. i just thought it would be fun to put sketchbook into an 18th century highwayman period fantasy drama with dark magic and pixies. and enemies to lovers. okay thanks

RC May Update Highlights

So, the May Updade is finished for me, I've played every book that I loved and am mostly happy with the new episodes. Watch out, there's spoilers in this post!

My highlights this time were:

The One Vol. 2 - Aww, Joel came all the way to Hawaii to tell MC that he wants to be with her! He's The One for me, sorry Ben. 😇😁 Also, that secret meeting at the beach ... 😍🔥

Chasing You 2 - I like the new case and it was a pleasant suprise to see the twins in this AU too! But my favourite was without question Alexander (I love bickering with him!) and that scene in the carriage ... 🤤🔥🥵

W: Time Catcher - Three great episodes by Arina, I love her storytelling so much! Also this beautiful CG with Renato and the scene in the last episode! 😍🥰

Astrea's Broken Heart - The more I read, the more intriguing it gets. Also, why is every LI so attractive? I lost soo many diamonds on that story and don't regret it one single bit. I'm still flirting with Raphael and David because I just can't not do it. But I know that Mikael is going to be my main LI. There's no doubt, not after the diamond scenes in the last episode where we could talk about him and his book/literature. It was nice to get to know him a bit better and I'm determined to wrap him around my little finger. Also, just look at him, he is soo beautiful. 😍 💖💋

Kali: Flame of Samsara - Uff, that season finale was pure madness! And the ending hurt so much! 😭My heart was broken when Devi died in Christian's arms, just hours after he sent her that little love letter and called her his bride. 😭 And I have so many questions! What happens now? Is Devi going to be resurrected or reborn? Are we even going to play her in the next season or somebody else? If so, what happens with the current storyline and the LIs? Who was the traitor, who was the maid that Sara ... disposed of ... worked for? Arrgh! I really hope Remy gives us at least one new episode next update (and doesn't pause the story like she did with SCN this time) because I need to know what happens next!

On another note, the CG video in the end was amazing and I loved the music and the visuals so much!

Garcia was of course upset after learning that Spence had used her for information on things he couldn't access himself.

I think Garcia was the one that accidentally outed Spence out to one of the girls when talking about his behavior and requests for information that didn't help the current cases (/asking for information during off-duty hours etc) and how strange she found it to be.

Having her own suspicions about it, but she ultimately felt a bit horrible for thinking that Spence might have been collecting information for nefarious things.

Emily Prentiss

She was surprised, honestly, the last thing she would have expected from the boy genius was to be told that Spence had been stealing information from the FBI databases.

Rightfully a little upset but looking back on the behavior she probably was one to notice some things that didn't align with Spence or seemed odd. Personally I think she has a fine eye for small details. (Stepping out to take a seemingly random phone call, unrelated questions, etc.)

A bit upset afterwards but understanding I think, I mean she lived a double life at some point.

Angry possibly, she gives me the vibes of being angry about it as a first reaction for some reason.

She's a liaison for the team, and I think there have been presented cases that have gone missing from her office bc of Spence bc they were related to something BW! Reader was on about (or possibly something that Spence didn't think the team could handle and thus would have let BW! Reader handle.)

She'd possibly be one of the most passive aggressive ones towards Spence afterwards?? Wouldn't be unheard of tbh.

Derek Morgan

The guy has a streak of being angry at his friends for doing something, especially if it deals with heavy topics and trauma. (Specifically looking at the Prentiss coming back from ""the death"" scene.)

He'd be angry, really ducking angry probably. Bc is this the same guy he viewed like a younger brother, teased about shit, AND PUT HIS LIFE IN THE HANDS OF?? Just for him to turn out to be a traitor who stole government information.

Betrayal utter betrayal and anger, skip any grief feeling of feeling like he lost a friend to the anger part probs at first.

Slowly calms down. But angry af.

Aaron Hotchner

Aa aa My man's really disappointed !! In REID. Like nah, why'd you do that. He'd be disappointed not only as a friend but as Reid's superior.

He'd keep Reid at an arms length afterwards & still make it known in his blunt way that he's disappointed in him and tell it to his ways as well.

By all means upset & disappointed. He'd still listen to reason on why Reid did it even through his anger.

David Rossi

If this happened around the time he was already in the team he'd be initially disappointed and angry.

Of course he'd give Reid a lecture about it and probs at first even listen to his reasonings if they were asked (long holding anger type.).

But after things cooled down enough he'd be listening to the reasonings. Of course he still wouldn't be happy about the situation but at least he's listening.

Like Gideon beneath, he'd somewhat understand the reasoning, I mean. He probably has done something in similar vein when it came to covering a friend's ass & so on even before meeting Gideon properly (thinking about his own background or what I remember of it lol)

IF THIS HAPPENED before he joined the team! Rossi would be disappointed and keep an eye on Reid but he wouldn't be as angry as mentioned above.

Jason Gideon

If this was during the time Gideon was still around with the team, he'd probably be sternly disappointed in Spence in the same fashion like a father to a son. Gives me the vibes, honestly, same with Rossi & Hotch.

But he'd be somewhat more understanding of the reasons that Spence did it. I mean sticking your head out for a cause you and your friend with the risk of getting caught!

But like, don't tell me that Gideon hasn't done something in the similar vein with Rossi at some point when they started the BAU (+ with the current team as well iirc but I might be wrong). This is something I believe in and folks can pry it out of my cold dead hands lol.

I got tagged by @mr-laveau to share headcanons which I love doing (kinda, there's a complicated process to get my brain to cooperate) so here I am! Gonna tag @maxpaulll @angelicaether @arrowfleur and anyone reading this but no pressure!! i just like seeing what ppl are thinking :D

5 Headcanons

I might not surprise anyone with this one, but I fully believe that Sweetheart is a pretty high rank in the department. In my fics I usually write them as Head Investigator but really it's just them holding a position of power in general. Especially six+ years into the game in canon like they had to have had at least one promotion.

Sam loves the rain. This is a fairly simple one, but I hold it dear to my heart. As an extension, I headcanon that vamps can go outside during the day when it's stormy out. I'm actually writing a fic currently with Sam/Darlin' that is discussed in this ask answer that explores this idea.

I didn't want to have more than one Sweetheart headcanon but it's me are we expecting anything else? Anyway, Milo is the only serious relationship that Sweetheart has had. I haven't explored this idea much in my writing yet, but like it's true in my heart. Don't get me wrong, Sweetheart still had their occasional fling, because they're too hot not to, but I love the idea of Milo being the only one to stick around and actually put effort into their relationship. There will be a fic that explores this eventually, probably. Oh, and this so ties into my whole "Sweetheart is on the aspec" headcanon that I keep writing/raving about.

Now for someone I don't normally talk about but still love just as much: David. David learned all of his cooking skills from his father from a young age. It was his and Gabe's thing growing up, and it's how he learned to love it so much. As a proxy to this headcanon, I think that David didn't want to cook after Gabe's death for a bit. He just lost interest in it after all the memories he's made around the act. However, as he learned to cope with his dad's death, he learned to love cooking again. It brought on fond memories that stung less and less the more he cooked.

One last headcanon I have for y'all, Baabe is also pretty high on the corporate ladder. This technically goes for Angel as well, but like I'm predictable and won't be talking about that. I don't know what sparked this headcanon but I also love this one. Basically, any time I can make The Mates™ as super important I will. Especially if it's the power couples of David/Angel, Milo/Sweetheart, Asher/Baabe. There's just something that itches that scratch in my brain about this kinda headcanon.

This isn't so much a "headcanon" but there was, a while back, a small trend on tiktok about Traitor Sweetheart and I ran with it. There's a whole storyline behind it and everything. I haven't worked on it in ages but it's still one of my favourite AUs.
