i'm just curious bc i'm watching How to Train Your Dragon and i always forget how happy and calm it makes me feel. i mean, i did name my cat after Toothless the dragon. but i also love Lion King, that's my Disney comfort movie. and my Ghibli comfort movie is Spirited Away. watching any of these when i'm in a foul mood or my anxiety is high always helps 🥰 but i watch them just for fun too, not only when i'm in a mood. what about you?

I was made aware of this through a reddit post: we can nominate movies to be preserved in the National Film Registry, and we should nominate some Dreamworks movies. Shrek is already in it. The criteria is that the nominations must be at least 10 years old and an American film. With this in mind, I think we should nominate the following movies to be preserved in the registry:

when i was younger i used to look trough the big four tag a lot, and i always had this au in my head where they were the seasonal spirits of rise of the guardian. few weeks ago i realized that i have never drawn them before, so here they are :D i have even added some matching names to their season like jack has

below the cut there are the staff silhouette and even where i think their home would be.

i tried to mimic the shape of items the others had in their own movies.

for Meridas staff i made it ruffly the shape of a bow 

for Rapunzels staff its the shape of a paint brush

and for Hiccups its the shape of his prosthetic leg but upside down 

do you remember in Kindergarden or elementary School when you learned about the seasons and had to draw/color in a tree in the four seasons? yes that is their home now haha

Spirit (Tracks) is crying in Phantom's castle confused as all hell wondering where the random pains are coming from

Hehe ok so I know we joke about spirit feeling everything and having a bad time thanks to the pain sharing curse

But like, in the au's canon he wouldn't really cause he wasn't there physically when the curse happened

Ravio can feel their pain and is connected cause of his soul bond with legend which is a completely separate thing

In reality, spirit is living his best life having tea with his princess gf while all the others are suffering and wriggling on the floor in pain cause one of them stubbed their toe against a door AGAIN
