OVERANALYSIS OF THE BURNING SPICE UPDATE TRAILER BECAUSE YOU KNOW I HAVE TO
we open up like this. pretty ominous words ... and you wonder which one is the demon and which is the god. burning spice and golden cheese seem to be very similar, possibly the most parallels that one could draw from the ancients and their respective beasts.
And then we get this shot. Obviously it's showing the soul jam, but there are also some things behind it. One resembles a snake ... APOPHIS ANYONE? this has THE most Egyptian mythology symbolism ever. if golden cheese represents ra, which makes one hundred percent sense considering her kingdom and wealth and radiance and all that, and the fact that she resembles a falcon, then the snake on this wall HAS to represent apophis. it can't not. heck, in some versions of the story apophis was A FORMER SUN GOD. like crk def knows what they're doing.
there's also this tiger character ... nutmeg tiger I'm pretty sure? something like that. they seem to be under the influence of burning spice, as well as all the creatures around them. they seem to be at a higher "position" than all these other guys, though. maybe a willing host?
and there is this. this is really interesting. the fact that Golden Cheese is the one to say this is very intriguing. as far as we knew, the ancients had no knowledge that the beasts even existed until pure vanilla's trip. he wrote the letter to dark cacao, and it was all "you won't believe this - but the place called BEAST-yeast has BEASTS in it!!!" and dark cacao was equally surprised. they didn't know. they thought they were the first ever wielders of the soul jam. but golden cheese ... seems to know a bit more than she lets on to the rest of the group. and a bit more than us. what the heck is the spice swarm?
also, the return (and release) of smoked cheese!! man I missed this guy. he seems to be working with golden cheese in this shot, but then what was his little deal at the end of the first teaser about? it does make sense, though, that he would try to at least be against burning spice - his entire goal is to get the soul jam because he thinks the current wielders aren't worthy - but to me it seems like he might have his own third side in this battle. he'll probably convince both sides he's working with them, knowing this dude. he wants the power of abundance and destruction, a second half he knew nothing about, the ability to make a change in the kingdoms and the lives of everyone in them.
and these two images are probably the most interesting of them all. they seem to be part of some sort of ancient papyrus or prophecy or something like that. golden cheese is yelling about the "great destroyer." could it be possible he was some sort of legend in their kingdom, a prophecy just waiting to unfold? could golden cheese have known about this threat since the beginning? could the beasts' corruption have been inevitable from the start, written in the stars ... and could the witches have known about it?
#im way too hyped for this update actually#if you couldn't tell#burning spice's ability to bring others under his influence is a CRAZY power tho. I thought that would be more of shadow milk's thing#but its kinda unclear HOW burning spice's power works.#and that nutmeg tiger or whatever their name is ... what's THEIR role in all this?#and this isn't even the entire trailer!!! I covered like four frames!!! THERE'S SO MUCH!!!#anyways super excited to pull burning spice first try as an f2p#hey look. I did it w/ wind archer. twice. I got mystic flour on my first 50. it's POSSIBLE.#buuuut if there's anything I want it's shadow milk.#anyways SUPER EXCITED FOR OCTOBER!!#“THE GREAT DESTROYER!!” whaaaat does that mean?#also one more thing: this doesn't seem to be taking place IN beast-yeast? it looks like we're just at the fallen gc kingdom#do we go there eventually? what's goin' on?#the fanartists will be going craaazy (including myself)#crk#cookie run#cookie run kingdom#beast yeast#burning spice cookie#smoked cheese cookie#golden cheese cookie#also that whole Egyptian mythology thing is INSANE. I love mythology it drives me nuts about everything when im able to make a connection.

I can’t believe it’s actually ending.
Three years the show has been airing. But it’s technically been a part of my life for five. I remember when The Owl House was first announced back in February 2018, and something about that magical poster and synopsis caught my eye. Something told me to look forward to this one, that it’d be special… And I had no idea.
I remember checking Dana’s accounts studiously, impatient for more TOH content ever since that poster. Eventually I stopped, giving up… But then finally, that original teaser trailer, fully instrumental as it gave us clips from what we’d later discover were just the first four episodes! I remember my speculation about Luz going to this world, even had a dream where she was revealed to be the Anti-Christ (not that this was a bad thing in context), that sort of thing. I got hyped to hear Luz’s VA be announced, and went out of my way to find clips of Sarah Nicole-Robles’ voice acting just so I could get an idea of what was to come.
And the show started off so humbly, so regularly, I didn’t think it’d become so serious! The fact that each episode was a fully twenty-two minutes did bode well for me, but damn. Hearing characters’ voices for the first time. Fully immersing myself.
And this is it! All speculation will come to a close here, with the final episode. This is the last time we’ll get to watch a new episode, unless that young Raeda spin-off happens, but I’m not getting my hopes up because it’s Disney. These evening hours spent in anxious anticipation for the episode to drop, this is the last time it’ll happen for all of us. The last time I’ll obsessively check Discord to talk about the newest episode, scroll through the Recent tag to see fresh reactions.
I want to savor it, but there’s also pressure to do this perfectly, as a way to go off. I can’t help perfectly capture how I feel nor a proper retrospective. But in the end, I still want to do it. A part of me doesn’t want it to end, wants it go on forever in infinite hiatus. But another part of me just wants to get the pain and grief over with. My heart is beating hard and it’s been building up in pace since I woke up today.
I don’t know what to expect, but I gotta say I’ve loved watching it with you guys. Stuff as early as over-analyzing on the snake motifs which eventually DID pay off in String Bean, after that theory that Luz’s palisman would be a snake due to how the title card was designed! The way I compared the Boiling Isles to Mata Nui from Bionicle, even joked about King being the Titan. I remember being there in the early days when there was barely a fandom but still holding out, and boy have we grown since then!
I was asked for permission to use my posts as credit when speculating on King being THE Titan, though it turns out he was his son. I remember speculating on the Owl mural inside of the Owl House, I’ve made so many friends through TOH. I remember when Adventures in the Elements leaked early and it was a dream episode, ideal and perfect!
Speculating that there was more to Amity than meets the eye, and being right in the overanalysis! The vindication! Joking about her being a lesbian, seeing a Grom poster but not actually thinking we’d get a Grom episode. And then we did. Thinking we were getting our hopes up with Amity being a lesbian with a crush on Luz, and then the explosion of emotion as our hearts beat, when the note unfurled.
I remember playing that godforsaken Witch’s Apprentice app just for more content, and then seeing Rebecca Rose analyze the artifacts, with me realizing they provided hints to upcoming episodes! Man, seeing Rebecca go from an early fan who helped start it off, someone I was glad to see provide presence at the beginning, all the way to a full-on crew member! Wonderful.
Belos was known as Bellows due to a typo in the captions. Speculating on Lilith and Kikimora, who cursed Eda. Being blindsided by the climax of Season 1, and this mysterious Owl-masked figure besides Belos, because I had no clue who this was and who he’d turn out to be, no idea! No idea he and Willow would be a thing, that Belos had a brother he killed and repeatedly cloned in an attempt to get him back!
This show has broken my heart, revived me, brought life, and so forth. Season 1 was truly wild, and then the year-long hiatus for Season 2, the Reddit AMA and stream… Getting Alador and Odalia’s names early, it was lovely! The S2 intro sneak peek, in progress. Waking up to get an entire trailer! Being caught off-guard with how much the animation improved, even as I had to stay quiet for like two weeks, because the first two episodes of S2 premiered early for special guests!
Speculation on Philip Wittebane and Belos, the brothers. Seeing Luz figure out glyph combos. Hunter and Flapjack, King and Eda’s stories, as the designs updated. New palismen. The heartbreak of the show being shortened, the anger and rage. The vindication on Creepy Luz just being a scared kid who wants love and means well.
And then the next hiatus… Season 2B, the end of a proper season as everything came to another climax. We got the truth on Belos, the story coming to a close in anticipation of the Day of Unity. The Season 3 leaks, especially with the titles, and the way they came together to tell us, Thanks For Watching. Like it wasn’t ideal but the audience worked with it, the crew made it work, and the fans stuck through regardless. The crew put themselves out there in this work and we reciprocated and understood.
Just as Luz wanted and needed so badly. We had S3 and the first look at a special, depressed Luz. The sneak peek. The revelation on just how alike Luz and Camila are. And then the hype towards For the Future… When the Collector really got to shine and show us a new side that completed their character. And finally, after all of the anticipation…
The episode finished production. The finale is done, just for us to watch. The crew is celebrating, saying their final goodbyes. And my heart and gut are feeling sick, aching with grief. I don’t want it to end, but it’s making me so nervous I need it to, just for the relief and release. And the finale inches ever-closer, the SERIES finale. The end of the end.
Here’s to The Owl House, you guys. Thanks for everything, thanks for reading my posts, interacting with them, adding onto them; Responding when I responded to your posts! It truly was a magical time and still is for me. I feel like I genuinely learned and discovered a lot about myself through this show and my interactions with fellow fans, and I toast to our final get-together in watching an episode!
Here’s to Watching and Dreaming! I know that’s what I’ll keep doing once the show ends…! And thank you @danaterrace, for coming up with this wonderful show and continuing to give it to us, despite everything.

Review: WolvePool (DeadPool and Wolverine) with a touch of spoilery overanalysis
link to past overanalysis So anyone familiar with my blog for a long time will know that I love wolverine and love Jackman’s depiction over the years. All all honesty I’d accepted Logan as the end of the character and Jackman playing him (it was tough tbh) – so it was with quite a bit of surprise when I saw an early trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine. Given todays not only spoilery and but also…

a fairly informal breakdown of the bob’s burgers movie trailer someone found on snapchat
so a few weeks ago i wrote breakdowns/analysis of the first and second trailers for the movie but last night on reddit i saw someone found a trailer on snapchat that contains some footage i hadn’t seen before!!! so i took screencaps from the bits that were new to me and i’m gonna talk about my observations, theories, and (possible) connections to the other trailers!!
don’t look under the read more if you don’t want to see any pics from the trailer (ik some people like to avoid spoilers entirely), or if you don’t want to load a bunch of images right now (i have way less than i did for the first two since it’s shorter but there’s still a good number of screencaps in this post). also at the bottom of the video there’s a little popup that occludes the lower 20% or so of the picture; i do not control the UI of snapchat.
(also pls dont rb this bc there’s a lot of people on this hellsite that i do not want interacting with me, there’s a reason i didn’t put this post in the main tags, just wanted to get my thoughts out somewhere)
because it’s a snapchat trailer the images are all in portrait instead of landscape, which is a blessing for me not wanting to turn my phone to take caps and a curse because it’s hard to make out what’s happening in a lot of these.
(note: the text in colored bubbles is the dialogue in the trailer)
so as many people would guess (particularly because of the sinkhole) there’s a grand re-re-re-re-opening at some point, likely the end of the movie. also if it’s the end, note that louise is still wearing her bunny ears; her character arc apparently revolves around her thinking about maturity and possibly not wearing them anymore, so i’m assuming she keeps em (which makes sense in both a watsonian and doylist context: louise’s ears are CLEARLY very important to her, they’re her #1 comfort object; they’re also the most iconic part of her design and make her silhouette very unique and also make her look taller which helps visually group her with her siblings around the same height: despite being younger than gene and tina, she hangs out with them all the time and often has a strong grasp on social situations they’re involved in and is generally kind of “wise beyond her years” sometimes which is represented by her having an accessory that makes her look taller
here we see gene in his pajamas, then he jumps up and turns around and is instantly in his rockstar outfit. i’m guessing this is from (an earlier part of) the scene where they’re onstage and then a ufo with robots inside shows up, which i suspect is gene’s imagination b/c gene loves robots and aliens and both are a little too fanciful to appear in the actual setting of bob’s burgers. him instantly changing clothes is also a hint that it’s a dream/fantasy sequence. also note he’s holding his napkin dispenser/spoon contraption, but it’s decorated with stars and lightning bolts which is adorable and also connects to that line in “video killed the gene-io star” when he says he signs his name with 4 lightning bolts, a peace sign, and a yin-yang
here we see linda putting louise’s iconic bunny ears on her head, POSSIBLY for the first time? someone in the comments of the reddit post said it looks like toddler louise. looking at the christmas cards from the credits sequence of “die card or card trying”, that tracks; she’s around this same size in the 4th picture, which is the oldest one where we see her with the hat. i am SO EXCITED to see the story of the ears and why she’s so attached to them
half the reason i took this screencap is because louise’s face is HILARIOUS but also in the background we see a whole bunch of (i believe) small plush toys that are PROBABLY wonder wharf prizes. in the second trailer we see a rack of similar plushies drawn in the same style; they don’t quite resemble the style used for characters and props that are actually animated but now i think that can be chalked up to them being in backgrounds.
bob and linda high-fiving in the bank. hopefully because they’re able to pay off those debts! this is one of the moments i was talking about that’s hard to capture in a screenshot due to being in portrait and not landscape 😔
tina and gene dancing, in what i’m pretty sure is the trailer park musical number. i actually think the trailer park is where a lot of the wonder wharf employees live since its surroundings seem to be in close proximity to wonder wharf and because some of the residents we see dancing in this sequence are also in some of the scenes at wonder wharf proper
near the end of the trailer there’s this very badass sequence of the belcher family in a little seashell car (the same one calvin and felix are driving the kids around in in the first trailer; the lights and hinges on the back are the same and you can see it’s scalloped like a shell in the first trailer) busting through a wall under the dock (it looks like it might be below where the bathrooms are?). this pretty much confirms that they were driving around in under-dock storage at wonder wharf. another interesting detail (that could be completely coincidental) is that the kids are sitting in the same order when bob and linda are driving as they were when calvin and felix were driving: louise is in the middle, with tina on her left hand side and gene on her right hand side. this could mean absolutely nothing but it could also mean these are the same/consecutive scenes and felix and calvin got out of the car, then linda and bob got in the car. (i double-checked to see if the kids ALWAYS sat in that order in the car and it’s not the case: in “bed bob and beyond” they’re sitting in reverse order, while gene is in the middle at the beginning of “it snakes a village”.)
this makes me wonder whether the statue calvin twists the nipples on in the first trailer (what a phrase...and it is entirely accurate to the trailer) is at wonder wharf (i assumed it was at his house because it looks WAY too nice to be at wonder wharf, but it’s a merman which fits the nautical theme) and whether it or the storage has anything to do with the kids falling through a trapdoor in the second trailer
the last bit of new footage in the trailer is a scene of gene and louise surrounded by other kids (probably at school) with a tape, which i SUSPECT is the footage they captured in the scene seen in both trailers where they’re exploring the sinkhole in their pajamas and louise falls in. (in that scene gene wants his gasp to be dramatic which solidifies that it’s the same scene for me.)
note: these caps only cover the new content; there are other bits in this trailer that we’ve seen previously.

I just? how will Adrien act now that he’s a ladybug? will he actually be stepping up into a more leadership role in the duo now that he has the power of the lucky charm? or will Marinette still be telling him what to do? will he be as cocky as a cat or will the responsibility force his ego to take back seat?
like I get Mari will be cute but I think in terms of dynamic, Adrien is getting more of the shake-up here
#miraculous ladybug#ml spoilers#swap#it me#if Reflekdoll focuses much harder on Mari I'm gonna be a little sad#yes I know she's the protag but how they handle Adrien is weird#it's a story for another post#speaking of posts: this is NOT the trailer overanalysis I was talking about!#that's tomorrow huehuehuehue

I like how the narrator’s voice actually echoed when it was outside the corridor and became clear the instant he entered the corridor stanley was in. Like it really interests me to see the narrator ‘move’ anywhere and reminds me of the escape pod ending, where you trap the narrator in the boss’ office and suddenly? Can’t hear him for some reason??
And when you read the sign near the pod it says it needs both the player and the narrator, which I guess implies that he was completely cut off from you, still stuck in the boss’ office?
Idk it’s just cool beans.
#this entire trailer is cool beans#watch me overanalysis every scene for no reason#the stanley parable#the narrator

Thinkin about how a lot of the people who bitch and moan about overanalysis of media and “It’s just fiction!” and “Who cares if the curtains are blue? It doesn’t have to mean anything” are the same types who watch trailers and teasers and entire films just... looking for easter eggs, character cameos, and hints of what’s to come. Watching an MCU film like a Where’s Waldo film, analysis starting and ending at “I get that reference and can predict what comes next.”
They’re the same types to come out of a piece of media with just a “Team X or Team Y” mindset, content with absolutes and a work that conforms to their understanding of the world.
They partake in as much media analysis as the person pondering over blue curtains or why a novel takes place mostly at night or whatever but only in terms of like... affirmation of the self--I’m a good fan, I get references, I’m on the right side.
It’s media analysis wholly uninterested in asking question questions (and maybe accepting they’ll go unanswered) and taking on the world itself and instead prefers making art smaller and smaller just so it can fit in your hands. You can point at what you see and just seeing is understanding. “I see that this is a comic book reference, therefore I get what’s coming in this movie,” “I can see that this guy was defeated at the end of the movie, therefore he was wrong and I was right to not trust him,” me me me.
There is no concern with The Author or the milieu or any other context. But there still is analysis, sometimes people write out lengthy theories about the connection of references they see (and therefore understand), and yet they scoff at people who do the same amount of work but choose to embrace the abstract, the nuanced, the unclear and multifaceted instead.

drive to survive season 3 trailer, an overanalysis and unneeded commentary
"f1 is open for business again"
toto on a scooter is a strong starter
christian horner reminding us to stay 2 meters apart (that's far too close imo)
the first flash of ferrari's 90th celebration... because we need to relive that?
"the target is to survive" - gunther, followed by romain's crash which is frankly tasteless
"i'm the man that walked out of fire" - romain, but the true gem here is marion grosjean being like lord help me with this man
"everyone know each other like family" vigorously underlines dysfunctional
the obligatory lando/carlos fanservice, "just get to ferrari already mate" agreed lando
"no such thing as peace in f1" this is the best thing i've hear lance say
"they're trying to stop me aren't they?" yes, probs lewis. i hope they show his breonna taylor shirt on the podium
"i'm leaving at the end of the year I can say what I want" with "we can't be too funny considering the performance" is a summary of ferrari 2020, thank god you're free now seb
"to whom it may concern fuck you" lol mmkay valtteri just enjoy your heineken
a peek of pierre's win!
more?? ferrari?? celebration?? why??
valtteri being sad in finland with an axe?
lewis and alex colliding (PAIN) "he doesn't like you does he?"
cyril having a crisis in a trailer "what a mess"
bonus bono saying it's shit to lewis
random esteban
checo's win, like that firework shot is TIMELESS
dan on the podium, bonus michael italiano
pierre on the podium
ending on dan "kicking some ass"
and guenther swearing because someone asked him if he wanted an umbrella, of course
there's absolutely no williams in the trailer??? or george russell
or alfa (but williams have an actual storyline) or dany, again
i hope there isn't a full valtteri ep or really ferrari tbh
i hope they cover claire and frank leaving
and also sahkir!! because the DRAMA.
i also don't want to see sad alex albon, he doesn't deserve it
noticeably more lando which is NOT shocking
swearing guenther has really lost it's charm, like.. meh
keeping in mind though the target audience of this is not f1 fans, it's just to get people to watch

I certainly don’t speak for that anon, but I really do just want to gush about how much I fucking LOVE Get Out and Us. I actually have fairly recently rewatched in anticipation of Peele’s upcoming “Nope” horror movie in a few months. And I just have to say that they are basically as good as I remembered them being. They’re wonderfully crafted horror films that have a lot of interesting characters in them, while also being two scary watches.
Yeah, normally I kinda roll my eyes at people that overanalyze trailers and what the tiny details may mean, but Jordan Peele’s prior two films actually earn that level of analysis because he does intentionally put those things in his films.
So this overanalysis isn’t born out of being a ravenous lore nerd, but rather out of the fact that this is what we have come to expect from Peele now.

Something I think about is that how the semantic “transformative fandom” is inherently queer, or at the very least how what we refer to as transformative fandom spaces is very tied with queer culture and how queer people (and other marginalized groups) interact with fandom spaces.
This isn’t to say that the concept of transformative fanworks isn’t inherently queer. It’s not. I firmly believe in the idea that creativity and transformative fanworks isn’t exclusive for a particular group and anyone, regardless of their identity, can (and should) create derivative works based on the stories they adore.
Like. There’s a lot of fanworks that like, are transformative fanworks but we don’t often count as transformative fandom. Like fanedits, AMVs, fake trailers and the like. Those “reanimate projects”. Fangames like the myriad of Pokemon or Sonic romhacks. Various fanmade series of varying styles and qualities from the most high quality of recreation to the homemade. Making custom models/MOCing. Remixes, fanmusic, mashups and whatever SiivaGunner is doing on their Youtube channel.Theories and creative overanalysis. Those “speculating of an upcoming story” or “create your own roster” type of threads and videos. Making conlangs of existing stories. Even those ridiculous “ok would Superman win Goku in a fight” type of stuff.
All of that is transformative. All of that is taking a pre-existing story and creating something new out of it. All of that is using the canon as a canvas where you paint something new. Where you water the seeds and make them bloom. All of that is what transformative fandom is.
Yet when we talk about transformative fandom we don’t think about that. Those aren’t listed on places that catalogue We instead think about is 40k+ long mutual pining slash fics on AO3. Of zine culture. Of various kink events and fandomweeks. Of headcanons. Of metaposts. Of college level thesis that analyze fandom history from its humble roots in 60s Star Trek zine culture to today.
And I think it’s because those things on fanlore and that OTW belong to a very specific subculture. The slashfics. The zines and kinkevents. The metaposts and headcanons. Those are part of transformative fandom culture. And that culture is one that many marginalized people use as their safe-heaven. See as their own place to enjoy fandom. It’s like our language, our own created culture we have cultivated over many decades.
The stuff that, while not inherently queer-unfriendly, is stuff that has been created separate from what we see as the transformative fandom culture. It either has different roots and origins compared to transformative fandom culture or has ingrained into larger nerd- and fandom-culture we often forget they are transformative in the frist place. And as such, we don’t really associate transformative fandom with those things. Because while they are transformative fanworks, they don’t really intersect with the culture that has been cultivated.
Of course there isn’t a clear line who can enjoy what or which transformative fanworks “belong” to the transformative fandom culture. Those things are muddy as heck and semantics can be tricky. I enjoy a lot of things both from what we often count as transformative fandom and what isn’t really counted as such, and that’s normal. This is just moreso an observation I had of being into fandoms and transformative fandom culture for over a decade than anything end all be all of what belongs where and who can enjoy what.

s02 trailer overanalysis
The Bad Guys
The most obvious bad guy in the trailer is Rience, the mage tasked with finding Ciri and killing Geralt:
His face is burnt, which, in the books was done to him by Yennefer when Yennefer was saving Jaskier from him. That's the scene where we get this line:
Which I can only hope they keep but then again, Jaskier wasn't really Geralt's friend in the show. Also later in the trailer Geralt retrieves Jaskier from prison so it's totally possible that Yennefer never meets with Jaskier before then.
Stregobor is also back, and who knows what kind of nonsense he's up to:
Based on two back-to-back shots of Rience and Stregobor, it seems that they're working together and, since Rience is working for Emhyr, possibly both of them are working for Nilfgaard? Or at least its emperor?
Here's the shot of Stregobor:
And I'm definitely gonna reach here but this reminds me of when Ciri draws on the power of fire at the end of The Time of Contempt, and a figure appears in the flames:
Fire magic was shown to be extremely powerful, but also very dangerous and aggressive. Maybe Stregobor and co. draw from the element of fire to enhance their magic.
Anyway, given the notable absence of Vilgefortz in the trailer, and the fact that Stregobor is only in one short story and not in the novels, it makes me wonder if Stregobor is going to take at least part of Vilgefortz's role as the creepy wizard obsessed with Ciri's power?

even more trailers + a clip!
MORE TRAILERS YAAAAAAAAAA
we got one for (as of posting) today, 10 days before release (prob bc tickets just went on sale). i found it on reddit in a square format so my caps are in that format but there’s also a widescreen copy on youtube. there’s also a tina-centric trailer from twitter. in addition, they posted a 1-minute clip of the movie on youtube, but i didn’t cap/analyze that bc there’s nothing to analyze really, the dialogue is intact and there’s no cutting between parts of the movie.
previous trailerposting here, don’t open the read more unless you wanna see a bunch of pictures and analysis of the trailers, pls don’t reblog this post bc i don’t want some of the people on this site to Percieve me, and have fun!
today’s trailer first!
alright so this scene MIGHT be from the beginning before the big musical number but i think it’s more likely it’s a bit further into the movie; they might be planning to ditch school and investigate something (perhaps at the fischoeders’ house or the rv park? they have their backpacks on in those bits...)
lol
i think we’ve seen this particular shot before but idk if we heard the dialogue before?
i’m guessing this is from the flashback at the very beginning bc the light flickers which sets a mysterious/ominous mood and apparently the flashback scene is a murder
that’s it for new footage in today’s trailer, next is the tina-centric trailer from twitter
SUMMER TINAAAAAA! this is obvs from the post-flashback opening scene/musical number, bc we’ve seen the kids at the counter and going up the stairs before.
tina says she wants to ask jimmy jr something summer boyfriend related, and she’s got this little ballchain necklace with a big yellow charm on it that looks like it might be a hotdog or a taco...
but then it cuts to her on her bed (possibly after throwing her notebook across the room), so this could have been a friend fiction she was writing about him...
new dialogue from the horse scene...
and i think our first dialogue from this scene too? it comes directly after the horse clip in this trailer and he’s pantsless in both but i’m not sure if they’re the same scene bc there’s no horses and tina has her bike and jimmy jr is glowing purple and translucent so it might be a separate scene
she’s holding the necklace again...i think it’s what she’s going to use to “propose” to him, thats cute
...but jimmy jr is more interested in zeke throwing chicken nuggets into his mouth. even after zeke missed and hit him in the head and he said “ow”...
good luck, tina...
