Paul McCartney, WIP Another WIP shot of @paulmccartney Materials used so far: -Charcoal: soft, medium and hard -Graphite pencil: 6H, 2H, HB, 2B, 5B -Soft eraser. -Brush Many of you asked me how I draw the skin. Well, to summ it up: I use soft charcoal, cut tiny pieces of it and use a brush to distribute them on the paper. I use a tiny eraser to mark little highlights and different Graphit pencil to draw little skin textures as well. ✏ All in all, it's all about patience and practice 😊😄 If you haven't checked it out so far, I have made a little reel of how to draw skin. He's part IV of my Sabaton Ballpoint pen portrait series and the bassist in the Swedish heavy metal band @sabatonofficial When they performed at Wacken Open Air 2019, they celebrated their 20th band anniversary and Pär held a speech. And I clearly remember his words: "When I was younger, people laughed at me, because I said I one day will play in a famous rock band. [...] Today, nobody is laughing!"
