And yeah, Brian definitely has to be made aware and has to understand how much Nenu's undeserved praise and attention has been 1) boosting Nenu's ego so he now can use his closeness to Queen as a tool to have everything excused (which he does) and 2) damaging the already weak confidence of talented artists who work their ass off to have new creative ideas and learn how to use tools, and would love to see their work at least recognised instead of being dismissed and silenced in favour of stock photos and app filters. Ex I don't care about getting reposted by Brian or becoming his favourite artist, but I still feel treated like an idiot every time I see people calling Nenu Queen's best fanartist or seeing his stuff being constantly praised online, and insulted with the excuse that "it's still art so it doesn't matter". I'm angry that Nenu's work had been put on the cover of Phoebe's book while actual paintings are kept inside, and it has nothing to do with my own art. I'm angry at having disheartened artists who love Bri and work on their art to come in my DMs desperate because of this.

However it's not Brian's fault first, it's Nenu's. He's a complete manipulator, doing what he does only for money and fame, he tricks people and toys with their ignorance about art or their feelings about Queen. Brian likes him because he produces basic and lazy puctures but creates whiny stories behind them to appear as a sort of genius, and people fall for it, Bri included because he's a sensible soul who also loves to be portrayed in art and is fascinated by how others portray him and the band.

Brian doesn't seem aware of how stressful this is for the art community. Make Brian aware of this issues, don't just insult him for not understanding. It's not about dismissing "editing" being a lesser art (even if no, drawing and editing aren't the same thing at all) but it's about lying about the technique to get compliments, manipulating people with teary stories, constantly bragging about being reposted, and dismissing other artists as stupid and jealous.

It's NOT Brian's fault, he's not even aware of these issues because Nenu made him blind. And let me add: Brian LOVES fanarts and it's a blessing he's willing to support artists, he already does a lot more than he should. But he's not aware that his favourite apple in the basket is completely rotten inside.

Some of you (not Rachel) really need to log off and go touch grass with the Brian regarding nenu because y’all have gone firmly into Very Online territory and it’s not righteous, it’s out of touch

"Veicolo leggero", Ragusa/ Sicily 2017 #zoerism #mural #painting #acrylic #nospray. Last week i have been invited to paint this old gas station in Ragusa by #festiwall_rg . This picture describes basically a plastic car for kids. This car has no engine as this architecture has also no longer activity. It looks like a car for adults, but you can drive it only by pushing the pedals and operating the oversized steering wheel. I painted this pucture in two times, the left part describing this volume, with a special care on lighting and colors to give it the aspect of something realistic, and the flat part on the right, evoking in an abstract way the 50´s street prints and advertisings.it could be the print on the box of this toy also. I have been really impressed and delighted to be welcomed so warmly, by people deeply dedicated to art. Setting and developping public art in this Unesco classified city requires a strong belief and a real connexion with patrimony , architecture and population. That is how Vincenzo, Antonio, Fabrizio and all their incredible ( never seen before ) staff, Giulia, Elena, Francesca..., are making it possible.
