A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988)

I love Freddy a lot, so letting his character show up and speak more is cool, even if it apparently makes him less frightening (it didn’t). This movie felt like 2 movies slammed into one. It begins with the 3 remaining characters from Dream Warriors living their lives, when they realize Freddy is back and he kills them all, so the main girl from the previous movie transfers her dream powers to one of her friends. All before the halfway point! Then this friend has to fight to save her friends and loses, of course. This one earned the most money out of the original 80s films, which is weird, but alright. They ALSO recast Patricia Arquette’s character and it was a bad decision.

Rating: C. I want to just have it noted that I didn’t see the final scene but I made this review anyway.
