About The Wild Update
So the recent news, that fireflies and the updated birch forest won't be released in 1.19 and I'm indifferent to this.
I can understand why they had to removed the function of fireflies being eaten by frogs since the insects in question have a toxin that is toxic towards frogs. Much like the situation with parrots and cocoa beans that Mojang changed to seeds. I don't mind if they turn out to be ambient mobs since we have bats fitting that role in caves.
When Mojang put out concept art from various potential aspects such as archeology which puts a big responsibility that it may overwhelm them in the development process. 1.19 right now has frogs, mangrove swamp/trees/wood, warden, mud, froglights, ancient citites, goat/copper horns, recovery compass, allay, deep dark, and chest boats. This is a lot of features in the snapshots and goes to show how much Mojang has put out in these updates.

why I’m glad rosatrice ‘exists’
...so obviously from prior posts on the topic, I don’t truck with KNM-style rosatrice theory myself. oh, I’m curious about it, but I can’t watch the whole video series, and the written transcripts are missing some really important parts, and from what I’ve seen the necessary logic is much more twisted than the idiosyncratic-but-characteristic take on identity which has traditionally been the main stumbling block to taking Clair at her word.
but I’ve come to conclude, recently, that the existence of such a theory is really valuable and important in Umineko metaphysics, even to Confessional partisans like me. or, to say it another way, it’s valuable and important to a Confessional partisan like me precisely because our perspective will see it as a wrong answer.
this was easy for me to miss until recently. but what changed my mind was revisiting ep5′s inhuman teaparty, and the gambit Battler pulled there after getting gold privileges. because whether you believe in an orthodox 'trice model or a heterodox one, Battler’s countertheory against Erika deliberately avoids actually using that formulation; he instead constructs “the man from 19 years ago” as a separate entity (himself).
why?
simple: because his whole goal, at that point, is reviving Beatrice while preventing Bern and Erika - those vindictive, rando gawkers with no connection to her - from reaching Beato’s heart and treating it cruelly.
so he recreates the superposition - the uncertainty over the truth - without giving anyone who’s just watching a hint for what’s really going on.
isn’t that why he’s so concerned about ep6 - about whether the resurrected Beato’s solution to the logic error is okay to use openly? ep7 follows immediately after ep6 precisely because, if you subscribe to mainline theory, ep6′s final red truth exposed to the goats the ambiguous hiding-place in which Beatrice III ‘exists’ (as post-release fan discourse sadly bore out), and so what could ep7 be but her funeral?
so now we have plenty of people with love for ‘that’ Beatrice, whose devotion has probably kept the Umineko fandom alive ten years on... but also plenty of people with no love for her who can deny her magic regardless based on something they just Googled. this problem has been exacerbated by r07′s... insufficient resolve to keep the catbox firmly locked as time has gone on; although he’s managed to avoid giving an explicit “answer” to anything, he’s still given the Confessions more broad availability (via inclusion in the manga and Umineko Saku), and recent adaptations have spilled certain other beans as well (like the manga making Will’s “last rites” more explicit than they were in the VN).
so what does that mean? if we take anti-magic toxin metaphysics literally, have we re-killed Beatrice by opening the coffin and revealing her true form to the world?
well, not quite. and the reason it’s “not quite” is precisely because, like Battler at the climactic final showdown of ep5, KnownNoMore somehow stepped up and offered a conflicting explanation.
and it doesn’t matter how twisted the logic is. it doesn’t matter how much of a stretch is necessary to accept it. what matters is that it contradicts the Confessional explanation without contradicting the red. what matters is that it once again makes it impossible to declare, with certainty, that the cat in the box is dead. and, as Battler’s ep5 success and takeover of ep6 proved, that’s the uncertainty in which a witch like Beatrice can survive.
what’s more, by being a theory that centers around a denial of ep6′s core revelation - by denying the very moment where many readers finally saw ‘that’ Beatrice and couldn’t accept her - it acts as a magnet for those readers. it prevents them from acknowledging the Confessional Beatrice, and therefore denies them access to her heart... which was always meant, ever since those bottle fragments were written, to be saved for those able to understand and accept her, and remain, to everyone else, the mysterious, unknowable, incomprehensible heart of "exactly a witch”.
was that KnownNoMore’s true aim? not a true argument in favor of Rosa as Beatrice the Golden, but rather an attempt to throw a cloak around a certain person’s form after Umineko’s denouement left her too exposed? with a username like that, it’s certainly possible. and yet, it’s equally possible to read it as the taunt many assumed it to be: a supercilious suggestion that Umineko’s readerbase had stopped thinking, and may be about to find themselves, far from the peak of Mount Purgatory, "waking up, stupefied, in a dark and unfamiliar place”.
...well, there may be no way to know for sure, one way or the other. perhaps that’s the most appropriate answer, anyway. here in the realm of witches, at least, it seems there’s value to not being quite so sure about things.

Weakened senses. Older adults tend to lose sensitivity to salty and bitter tastes first, so you may be inclined to salt your food more heavily than before—even though older adults need less salt than younger people. Use herbs, spices, and healthy oils—like olive oil—to season food instead of salt.
Medications and illness. Some health problems or medications can negatively influence appetite or  affect taste, again leading older adults to consume too much sugar or salt. Talk to your doctor.
Digestion. Due to a slowing digestive system, you generate less saliva and stomach acid as you get older, making it more difficult for your body to process certain vitamins and minerals, such as B12, B6 and folic acid, which are necessary to maintain mental alertness and good circulation. Loneliness and depression. For some, feeling down leads to not eating and in others it may trigger overeating. Sharing meals with other people can be an effective antidote to loneliness. Death or divorce. If you’re newly single, you may not be used to cooking or have little enthusiasm for preparing meals for just yourself. However, cooking your own meals can help you take charge of your health. The key to cooking for one is to master a few basic skills and get creative in making meals that work specifically for you.
Living on a limited budget. With the right tips and a little planning, it is possible to enjoy healthy food on the cheap. Often, by simply cutting out junk and processed foods, you can free up enough in your budget to enjoy healthier, better quality food. Share your home. Consider having a housemate/companion who would be willing to do the grocery shopping and cooking.

Kirby's Dreamland
Joebear and I accidentally had a child named Kirby. I fed Joebear a lot of food and made him pregnant. Garfield watched as we made food love.
Joebear ate Entermann's donut holes, donuts, ice cream, pizzas, chips, and cookies. His belly was so big that it started talking when it was hungry. It even wanted seven pounds of turkey for Thanksgiving.
I rubbed Joebear's belly and kissed it. I would give it occasional beatings. But mostly, I rubbed it.
I fed Kirby, his stomach, non-GMO Cape Cod sea salt chips. He was a happy, good-looking cub. I petted him while he ate. I treated him like Joebear and Albear treat Oreo: petting her while her fat ass black ass white ass ate. They both needed to be held and petted while they ate. It was ridiculous.
In other news, I also fed Murphee the Ace of Munching his Healthy Balance diet. Afterward, he kneaded his mattress before he growled and laid on a rock.
Colonel America peed in a nearby stream. Then he came over to us and ate a pre-Thanksgiving feast of club crackers, turkey, and herb and garlic goat cheese.
I drank Jim Bean's Apple Cider and ate herb and garlic cheese melted over turkey. Then, I ate cherry peppers.
Joebear drank apple cider. Colonel America drank angry cider. Murphee the Ace of Munching drank angry water and ate multi-grain club crackers.
Colonel America ate cherry peppers like a grown man. Then, he fell asleep.
I urinated and defecated in the same stream Colonel America peed in 30 minutes ago. Those fish were going to have a great Thanksgiving.
Murphee the Ace of Munching laid near the stream in which I did my business. He was biting on himself because he needed to groom. He then moved away to the middle of the woods to rest.
After I cleaned up after myself, I went in the vicinity of Colonel America and also took a nap.

Goats bleated and woke me up. I bleated and closed my eyes again. Goats were running toward a watering hole and splashing around.
Colonel America started singing "Figaro Figaro Figaro!" Then he took a dump. After his poop, he requested to eat rice, turkey, and gravy. He was also a Kirby.
I cooked him the rice, turkey, and gravy and fed it to him. He thanked me before he drank his bottled water.
Joebear and I also drank our bottled water. I even manifested a Wendy's double burger and munched on that. Murphee the Ace of Munching barked at me before he ate some turkey and rice.
Colonel America then boiled some coffee and manifested a piece of raspberry cheesecake. Meanwhile, I continued to munch on my burger.
After I ate my burger, I needed to pee, so I went back to the stream I did my business in before and peed again. I wiped myself before I went over and sat next to Murphee the Ace of Munching.
Kissy and Joebear also came over to lay next to me. I wrapped my body around big Joebear. Kissy laid at my feet while Murphee the Ace of Munching laid on my back. Joebear ate some apples as he was laying down and burped. I tried to hold in a fart. Then, I fell asleep and probably farted anyway.

Garfield nuzzled against my face and woke me up. He purred and then sat on my face. I laughed. Garfield then put his face to mine, and we kissed.
Joebear was releasing toxins in some woods that were 80 feet away.
When I got up, Garfield meowed at me while I went to make coffee, cute oranges, and eggs for Joebear. He was hungry again. Kissy meowed at me before Joebear manifested her breakfast.
Colonel America ate turkey and drank Jim Beam angry cider and coffee for breakfast. Murphee the Ace of Munching was barking at Godiva's toilet garden.
Godiva was making dinner while Jamie was cooking ribs on the barbeque. Peter was bitching about how he still had to install drywall in an alternate universe.
Colonel America was drinking more angry cider because his gums were killing him. The headache then infected the center of his head and caused his brain to explode.

Three “Real Food” Staples That Aren’t What You Think

I’ve made it my mission to tell people the truth about their food, where it comes from, and how to live healthfully in our processed-food world. My latest book, Feeding You Lies, just hit stores yesterday and exposes the many lies that you’ll find about our food on product packages, advertising, and in the media.
My journey to a real food lifestyle didn’t happen overnight. Just like most people living in this processed-food world, I was easily fooled by deceptive marketing and packaging. I knew nothing about real food or chemically processed ingredients, but I knew I needed to make a change.
First, I started with the obvious stuff. I stopped eating frozen Lean Cuisines and stocking up on “zero calorie” drinks… and I started buying more fresh ingredients so that I could cook at home and stocked my pantry with staples such as spices, cooking oils, and beans.
However, the more I investigated my food and what I was putting in my body, I began to realize that my grocery shopping still needed a makeover! A lot of those “real food” ingredients I was buying weren’t as healthy as I thought and were quietly sabotaging my health.
And let’s face it, with all the millions of dollars that companies spend to persuade us into buying their products, it can be hard to cut through the B.S. and know if you are making the right choices.
Let’s take “real cheese” for example…
With the claim “Off the Block” blazoned on the front of the bag, Sargento is insinuating this cheese is like the kind you’d shred “off the block” of cheese at home. However, flipping it over to read the ingredients list, you’ll find it contains powdered cellulose, an additive made from wood and used as a coating on most pre-shredded cheese to keep it from sticking together. Tests done by Bloomberg News found up to 8.8% of cellulose in some brands of shredded parmesan cheese. Eating cellulose is linked to weight gain, inflammation, and digestive problems. Ever since learning about this additive, I started shredding my own cheese!
Plus, dairy products without the USDA certified organic seal usually come from cows raised on grains and GMO feed, which is not healthy for them and produces less nutritious milk. It may also contain residue of artificial growth hormones, antibiotics, and synthetic pesticides. Any of these things can be in cheese labeled “Natural” and “Real”… so don’t fall for these claims on the package.
A Better Choice: Instead, it’s best to choose organic, raw, 100% grass-fed cheese and shred it yourself. Raw cheese contains enzymes that make it easier to digest and is more nutritious. Goat milk cheese is also an excellent option that can be easier to digest.
Another food to watch out for is cooking oil…
I used to think I was doing the right thing when I cooked with canola oil. It’s “heart-healthy” right? I mean, it says so right on the bottle! What they don’t tell you though is that most vegetable oils such as canola, soybean, and corn oil go through an INSANE amount of processing with chemical solvents, steamers, neutralizers, de-waxers, bleach, and deodorizers before they end up in the bottle. They are so heavily processed and should not be part of a “real food” lifestyle. Avoiding these oils just for that reason alone is a good idea. However, it gets worse. The “solvent” most often used to extract the oil is the neurotoxin hexane–it’s literally bathed in it.
These mass-produced vegetable oils are also too high in omega-6 fatty acids, which fuel chronic inflammation in the body, leading to disease. Thankfully, there are much healthier choices.
A Better Choice: Unrefined coconut oil is one of my favorites to cook with today. It is made up of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), which have been shown to reduce cholesterol and obesity. Other unrefined cooking oils, such as Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Hemp Oil, and Ghee all make excellent choices. Choose organic oils because that’s where GMO ingredients and hexane extraction are prohibited.

Land O’ Lakes was a staple in my household. We used the whipped butter like it was nobody’s business—my mom would use it on her infamous parathas (Indian stuffed flatbread), in countless desserts, and to make homemade ghee. A Better Choice: Today, I choose organic pastured butter. Butter from grass-fed cows has higher amounts of beneficial CLA and healthy omega 3 fatty acids. Also, grass-fed cows produce butter with up to 50 percent more vitamin A and E, and 400 percent more beta carotene (which gives the grass-fed butter a deeper yellow color). You’ll also be avoiding butter laced with residues from antibiotics or hormones as these aren’t used on organic farms.
What you can do
You don’t need to make a full-time career out of investigating food like I have to make better choices at the grocery store. You just need to ask and answer three simple questions about food.
