Currently on a quest to draw every tower heroes tower so heres all the ones ive done so far ^u^ [13/33]

where do u get ur backgrounds

it’s a bit of an unnecessarily complex process, but typically what i do is:

find a seamless pattern (usually just by looking up just that on google, sometimes with modifiers such as ‘floral’ or ‘geometric.’ ibis paint also has free patterns!)

ensure the pattern is actually seamless (ie the sides all match each other and won’t stutter when uploaded)

open the pattern in photopea and go to edit > define new > pattern

you can now make a pattern fill in your chosen edits by going to layer > new fill layer > pattern fill and choosing your pattern! i like to do it this way so i can play with the sizing more.

then i set my blend mode to screen and make a gradient below it with my chosen colors (layer > new fill layer > gradient fill. i typically set it at a 90° angle, but that’s up to personal preference)

works best on black and white patterns, but you can make a pattern black and white with adjustment layers before uploading

that’s how i get my backgrounds! or, alternatively, pinterest is a good source for backgrounds. sorry if this doesn’t make sense, i’m very bad at explaining and it’s a rather arduous process

Woah, you're right! I didn't even realize! Can't believe it's been three years already! I remember I first started this blog because I was bored over the summer and thought it would be fun to match Project Diva modules to pride flags...lol. I didn't think I'd get any followers or requests, but three years and 3000 followers later, look where we are now!

Anyway, thank you for the kind words, and thanks to everyone, whether you've been here a while or are new! I've had a lot of fun running this blog, and I hope to have even more fun in the future!
