I started following because I saw you share something of one of my moots posts and I was like ooooo another HL person! But what solidified it for me is seeing more posts of you hyping other people up and being so nice in your comments encouraging everyone.

After having some less pleasant experiences in the fandom, seeing your posts was a big reason I came back and started interacting again 💙

Earlier today you said "it doesn't mean anything". But it does. You mean something, even on the days you are surrounded by apparently oblivious people: they may not say something to you in the moment, but seeing you and being part of your life has lasting effects.

I have a colleague at work who is Palestinian. I have known him for years. He is a wonderful person, a loving father, and devoted spouse. Every time I see him, it's a good day. He and his family are important to us, and I'm sure others in your life would tell you that you are important to them.

My point is, even on the days where you feel like no one is listening so you don't say anything, and just "do your job" or whatever: someone *does* see you, and because of you they care about Palestine and its beautiful people. 💗

This is an amazingly beautiful ask that has brought me to tears. Thank you so much for sending this in, I sincerely appreciate it.
