thank youuuuu i honestly really love the topic of eddie's sexuality because there are so many ways to look at it and it's one of those things where my opinion has actually changed over the years (i used to be a big gay!eddie enthusiast — not necessarily in the sense that i thought it was what the show would do with him, since i've always said that they would just leave him unlabeled — but it was definitely how i viewed him and it was my fic preference pre-s7). i think season 7 and my full series rewatch changed my opinion, but i still do have a special place for gay eddie in my heart and i love hearing what people have to say about it even if i disagree <3

I want to save something about your YouTube videos. Please keep making them, they are giving a lot of comfort. In your play throughs every Sim has some unique character, look and overall soul, because you are storytelling. I absolutely adore it, because I'm so freaking tired of Sims YouTubers doing EVERYTHING with some dumb calculators and schemes, watching videos like this is just tiring, I have calculators all day at work. Please don't change and keep the good work. Lot's of love <3

Thanks a lot!! I really appreciate the nice message. I do enjoy the storytelling aspect of the game the most (though for me ofc, gameplay itself is a big part of that), so I am glad that shows!

I have to admit I also do not enjoy those aspiration calculators and hobby subsystems etc, haha. It's more fun for me to randomise or pick those things based on storytelling goals or vibes. I also don't really keep my sims 100% synced up age-wise and I also don't really like micro-managing my sims so would probably not do that "active career" style gameplay even though I think the concept is cool. (But everyone enjoys different things about the game, so no shade intended to players who like those things!)

Spruceburg actually DOES have a spreadsheet, hahaha, but I am just using it to keep track of everyone. I do play hoods like a Build a City Challenge and a Medieval Charter Challenge, with tax systems and whatnot, those can be fun for me too sometimes when I'm playing by myself! But I prefer to keep my Youtube stuff more simple and true to the game's original spirit, if that makes sense. Glad to hear it resonates with you ❤️

Earlier today you said "it doesn't mean anything". But it does. You mean something, even on the days you are surrounded by apparently oblivious people: they may not say something to you in the moment, but seeing you and being part of your life has lasting effects.

I have a colleague at work who is Palestinian. I have known him for years. He is a wonderful person, a loving father, and devoted spouse. Every time I see him, it's a good day. He and his family are important to us, and I'm sure others in your life would tell you that you are important to them.

My point is, even on the days where you feel like no one is listening so you don't say anything, and just "do your job" or whatever: someone *does* see you, and because of you they care about Palestine and its beautiful people. 💗

This is an amazingly beautiful ask that has brought me to tears. Thank you so much for sending this in, I sincerely appreciate it.
