If you manage to storm the castle, as it were, and make it out of here with Phineas alive...Ugh. I can't exactly afford more havoc than you've already caused. Fine. If you survive, you'll need someone to sell the rest of the Board on your...plan.

[Felix] Are you out of your mind?! Rockwell's the biggest monster in Halcyon! You got any idea how many lived he's destroyed? How many people he's hurt? I've had enough. You even think about cooperating with this...this animal, and you and I are finished.

"Who are you really, inspector? Not the person you show to people, but the real you." Ruth asked. She thought it was fair, the inspector hadn't so much as offered anything but her name.

Ophelia stopped smiling after a second. Then she started to turn pale, and a flighty look appeared in her eyes.

"It doesn't really matter." She stammered.

Ruth hummed noncommittally, and squinted at the squirming captain. She had been so calm and composed in their previous chats.

Ophelia let silence fill the room.

Some Thistle in-recovery hcs (because I am Coping until the end of time)

He falls back asleep after the end of the manga and is unresponsive so a lot of ppl’s efforts wrt are focused around trying to figure out how to get him to wake up

Speaking of. There’s lots of fighting over whether or not they should just give his body over to the elves to execute with different characters on different sides of the debate

Yaad (as “Delgal”) tries talking to him several times to see if anything happens but it doesn’t (gee I wonder why)

Senshi and Laios team up to try and find something that he actually wants to eat and it gets more elaborate and frightening until eventually someone (probably Kabru or Marcille) forces them to stop

Marcille makes a habit of visiting him every day and ends up rambling to him a lot about various things bc obviously he doesn’t respond. He hears all of it, though :)

Falin also visits regularly but she instead just sits with him and sometimes reads him books. She swears that sometimes he opens his eyes to look at her but no one believes it!

I love unrequited love like mad and all the apology tour fanart but alastor ship ver. are great, i eat them up like spaghetti but if i ever see genuine critique on alastor (ace, implied aro) for not liking the other character back and putting blame on him -> it's block on sight 😊

I eat hanahaki fics for breakfast, the guilt-trippy nature in apology tour isn't my problem. if the guilt-tripping is just for a tasty narrative, i'm good,

my problem is if it actually reflects your belief that the aro/ace character is at fault while the other half of the ship is a precious baby for catching feelings and did nothing wrong.

I don't want genuine blame being put on the aro/ace character for just, not being able to give what the other wants. It sends me into a spiral of feelings i cannot explain as an aroace.

So, for my own sanity, I am headcanoning that when Billy’s soul entered William’s body, the two mixed and made Billy Kaplan/Maximoff/Teen we’ve been following. Further down the line, he may remember all of William Kaplan’s life, but he’s still a mix of the two
