I can't find where but theres an interview where gosho mentioned that ran's future has already been decided and foreshadowed. A theory someone made from this is Ran will be an actor (based on that episode where Makoto got hired as an actor) and then retires when she gets married to Shinichi to parallel Yuusaku and Yukiko. NGL i absolutely hate that retiring your successful career for a man part but whatever. Aoyama the misogyny king what else is new. What i'm trying to say is Ran that stars in a commercially successful Black Widow etc etc

“Heiji, you never told me who your ‘first love’ was.” Kazuha tapped her foot impatiently while waiting for the train back to Osaka. During the time in Kyoto, Kazuha had been suspicious of quite literally every pretty girl Heiji talked to, and it didn’t help that he was being so dodgy about the topic.

Hattori waved his hand dismissively, “Are you seriously jealous of a ghost?”

“What?! First loves are… well… special!”

“So?”

“You said you met your first love at Kyoto!”

“…So?”

“HEIJI YOU DUMBASS!!!”

Hattori hesitated for a second before smiling back, “Come on, the train is arriving now.”

Kazuha was smart, smarter than most people gave her credit for, and so she decided to drop the entire topic.

Heiji obviously didn’t want to talk about his ‘first love’ and she wasn’t going to force it out of him, although she really wanted to.

But she did realise something, that the ‘pearl’ Heiji’s first love gave him disappeared mysteriously.

“Kazuha-chan, I think it’s good to do it somewhere you two have fond memories of.” Ran said over the telephone, ignoring whatever chaos Conan was stirring up with her dad in the background, “When Shinichi confessed to me, he did-“

“WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO RAN-NEECHAN?!”

(Kazuha lowered her phone’s volume, because although class was already over, she didn’t want anyone knowing she was asking love advice from Ran-chan.)

“Conan-kun, it’s rude to interrupt people!”

“Uh ahahah…”

“And why are you always so invested in my love life?!”

“I understand Conan’s concern, after all you are dating Shinichi…”

“…Dad, and what is that suppose to mean?”

“Ah! Ran… you know detectives are uh… always hiding secrets and…haha”

“Sorry Kazuha-chan, I have to go.”

Kazuha grimaced slightly as she hang up the phone.

‘Detectives are always hiding secrets’

And she wished that they would stop thinking that doing that is the correct thing to do!

She wasn’t going to kill Heiji if his first love wasn’t her. That would be childish.

‘Of course, he should just tell me the truth! Who’s that mystery girl? And do you…’

Suddenly the classroom was a bit too suffocating, and in an instant she disappeared from the class.

“Kazuha! Where are you going?!” She heard Heiji calling her, and looking back at him, she smiled.

“Gotta meet someone near the Hosenji temple at 6pm tonight! I need to prepare!”

She smiled because she had a hypothesis that just needed confirmation right now.

She checked her phone again, she knew that Heiji was going to be here. Knowing him he probably was overthinking.

‘Heh, he probably thinks that since he tried to look for his first love recently, I’m doing the same.’

‘Well even if he doesn’t think that, his curiosity will at least make him show up, so that he can meet this mystery person.’

As soon as the clock striked 6pm, out of the corner of her eyes she saw Heiji trying to take a peek at her.

And so she hid behind a column, just blocking her out of his sight from his perspective.

“Kazuha!”

She smiled, her gamble worked.

“Seems like he arrived on time.” Her grin stretched wide, Hattori stared at her in shock, “How do I look?”

Hattori looked at her with a slight blush, “Even cuter than 9 years ago.”

“Wha- WHAT?” Kazuha couldn’t stop the blush crawling up on her cheeks, “9 years ago? YOU CREEP I WAS 8!”

“I uh ahahah…”

“Hmm… I remember my relatives at Kyoto helping me dress up when I was 8… I even wanted to show it to you.”

Heiji suddenly grabbed her hand and ran down the narrow and bustling streets of the temple.

“WHAT- HEIJI!!!”

Hattori blushed furiously, although Kazuha couldn’t see his face clearly, ‘As if I’d let you figure out my first love was you!’

But Kazuha already knew it in her heart, ‘The girl you fell in love with back in Kyoto, was me, right?’

Aside from all the joy for Heizuha at long last, it's also nice to celebrate the fact Detective Conan has now finally introduced all of the mothers. This year the mothers of Kazuha Touyama and Aoko Nakamori were finally introduced. Midoriko Nakamori and Sakura Touyama. It's About Time!

I am so happy that Touyama Ginshirou is a good parent. He only ever has a problem with Heiji, his best friend’s son, when he’s rude to Kazuha which is hilarious when you consider that Kazuha takes after Sakura and is an absolute menace (see the handcuffs incident that lead to the amulet and her participation in the bet) who gives as good as gets and more. His reaction when he saw Sakura pretending to be Kazuha was so done, all fond exasperation ‘you’re 43 how did raising a teenager make you more mischievous? You’re such a bad influence on my cute daughter and remind me why I love you because right now I’m getting grey hairs’ but no real complaints about it. He knows who he married. Kazuha was raised by two badasses, Sakura just chose to focus on motherhood and self-care when Ginshirou got promoted, I assume her squad was quite demanding so when his workload and pay-check increased she decided to quit and focus on being a good parent. Mother-daughter twinning is still so funny and Sakura’s Kazuha reminds me of Kaito’s Kazuha, they both think she is a strong beauty who should be bold!

Yeah, Sakura is so fun. Her dynamic with her husband is quite funny. But, who's Kaito's Kazuha?

Beverage of Preference, a short story (well, fanfic)

So this was an idea that popped into my head that I decided I needed to write. 

Look, Shinichi is great. I’m sure there is a very real possibility that he drinks a lot of coffee.

BUT there is no canonical evidence (for hot coffee at least)... so now this exists. I have also posted this on Ao3.

Hattori appears one Sunday morning, out of nowhere, on Shinichi’s doorstep.

“I’m kinda busy right now,” Shinichi says almost immediately, “I need to catch up on a bunch of work for university.”

“One of my cases led me to Tokyo, so I thought I’d drop by to see you once it was wrapped up,” Hattori explains cheerfully, ignoring Shinichi completely. He holds out a takeaway coffee cup.

Shinichi blinks.

“What’s this?” he asks, taking the cup.

“Coffee, black. No sugar. That’s how you like it, right?” Hattori grins, walking past Shinichi, his own cup of coffee in hand. “Pardon the intrusion,” he sings has he shucks off his shoes.

Shinichi stares, first at Hattori, and then at the cup of coffee. He steps back into his house.

“How did you come to the conclusion that I drink black coffee?” Shinichi sighs, following Hattori in.

“Don’t you?” Hattori says flippantly, barreling past the steps and into the kitchen, “Or do you put in milk after all? I wasn’t sure about that part actually, though I figured you didn’t use any sugar. I thought it was a pretty good deduction on my part, actually.”

“You’re pretty far off the mark,” Shinichi frowns.

“Wait really? Do you secretly like drinking café au lait or something? You drink your iced coffee black, though so I thought that—”

He stops short when he catches sight of Shinichi’s yet-to-be-eaten breakfast and, sitting primly next to the plate of eggs and toast, a steaming cup of tea.

“Oh,” Hattori says, “is that Earl Grey?”

Shinichi hands the coffee back to him.

“You were right about the part where I don’t add sugar or milk, at least.”

“You drink tea!”

Nobody asked, but here are all my drink headcanons:

In my head Shinichi likes Earl Grey, no milk or sugar. He does drink iced tea, because canon. If he ever drinks coffee, he likes to add a little sugar at least, but no milk. 

Heiji likes the milkier coffees but what kind he gets depends on his mood. Sometimes he adds some sugar, but sometimes he doesn’t. He’s usually pretty flexible about it. If he drinks tea, it’s normally some kind of green tea. He also likes iced coffee.

Ran probably drinks tea with a little bit of milk and no sugar, and normally she just buys whatever plain black tea she can find because she’s not too picky like that. In my head she doesn’t dislike coffee, but she doesn’t go out of her way to get it. She gets iced tea when she feels like she wants to drink something cold or something sweeter.

Meanwhile Sonoko likes french-press coffee. Whether or not she puts in milk and sugar depends on whether she’s eating something with the coffee or not. When she isn’t, she’ll add the milk and sugar. She normally doesn’t get any cold beverages and just goes for a parfait if she wants something cold. 

Sera likes cappuccinos, but sometimes will also just drink plain black coffee. She also likes getting coke sometimes, but not always. 

Kazuha doesn’t really like any particular beverage, but she’s usually gets a latte when she hangs out with friends. 

Haibara likes tea that is infused with other flavors, usually fruit flavours. She does also like more flowery teas. She does not add sugar, honey or milk. She drinks black coffee because she’s used to it, but she doesn’t particularly like it. 

Hakuba likes jasmine tea but when he wants something with more caffeine he drinks darjeeling tea, though he usually doesn’t steep it for very long. He does sometimes drink cafe au lait when he has to stay awake for a KID heist, but he doesn’t like it much. He’s not a fan of strong flavours. 

Kaito just drinks plain espresso shots with sugar in them, often multiple a day because aside from holding heists, he also plans late into the night, and he needs that caffeine to stay awake. Otherwise he likes cappuccinos like Sera. He definitely will get ice cream instead of a drink whenever he can though. He does also like milkshakes, but even those he usually likes when they have ice cream on top. 

Aoko likes hot chocolate. She doesn’t like that coffee is bitter. She doesn’t really like royal milk tea either. Really, she just likes chocolate. She does find that the mild darjeeling tea the Hakuba makes is kind of nice.

Akako likes royal milk tea, and although she does like the taste, some of it also has to do with the fact that the name has ‘royal’ in it. She will never admit this to anyone, though. 

I really wanted one of the characters to drink chai with ginger in it, but I don’t think any of them would like that very much, except maybe I guess either Kaito or Kazuha. I doubt they’d drink it often anyhow. I also wanted one of them to drink oolong tea, because I love oolong tea, but alas, I did not think any of them would be particularly biased towards oolong tea either. Of course, I have not included all the characters, so maybe when I try to figure out what the remaining characters like, I might find someone.

TOP 10 ANIME WAIFU

Personally, I love anime characters that make me attach to them and their personality will make a mark on me. I picked them on how they satisfied my emotions and excitement while watching them.

10. Yona

(Akatsuki no Yona)

- She is in my top 10 because of her bravery. The manga is not done yet, and the anime is really a cliffhanger for me. However, watching her journey to find the four dragons will make you admire her bravery. I also love her and her relationship with her squad, she treats them as a family.

9. Uraraka Ochako

(My Hero Academia)

I started loving her since her match with Bakugo. She proved everyone in the arena(?) that you shouldn't downgrade her. And until now i still admire whenever i remember that scene. And i also love her character development.

8. Nao Tomori

(Charlotte)

The main reasons that she is on my top 10 is because she is so unpredictable, smart, cute, loving and most importantly she is BADASS!!! I really love it when she save Yuu from depression, and from that point i knew that she will be on my top 10 favorite.

7. Kazuha Toyama

(Detective conan)

For me her personality is entertaining and funny hahahaha. She is also brave like Ran, but i don't why i like Kazuha more than Ran. Anyways i love it when Kazuha and Hattori are bickering 🤣

6. Sarutobi Ayame

(Gintama)

I love her because of her genuine love towards her friends. She is ready to protect them and she is willing to die for them. She is also loud, funny, and Sexy HAHAHA.

5. Tatsumaki

( One Punch man)

Need to say more??? She is REALLY cute and Badass and that why i like her. PERIODT. Oh--- i also like her super powers.

4. Shinobu Kocho

(Kimetsu no yaiba)

The first thing that i like about her is her voice. The first time i hear her voice send chills down my spine. Her character and her voice suits her well. Also, the best thing i love about her is her badass but calm personality. She is calm and collected but makes your heart doki doki whenever she is having her screen time in the anime.

3. Bishamon

(Noragami)

Girl, her entrance in the anime is so cool HAHA. Anyways, the thing that i like about her is the way she treated her regalia as a family. She is the kind of person that will show you that she is strong on the outside, but she is enduring her pain on the inside.

2. Haruhi Fujioka

(Ouran highschool host club)

She is the BEST girl in the entire Romcom genre anime. I mean, she is very understanding and she really don't mind what people thinks about her. She is also helpful towards others, and her love for her father is Genuine. She also treats everyone equally and that's the most heartfelt thing I've ever seen.

Kagura is the closest anime character in my heart. I really love her because i can see myself to her. She is loud,funny,lovable, and caring character. But even though she is a ray of sunshine to everyone, she also have silent battles that she fought at a very young age.
