How come when Faris regains consciousness, her personality seems to be completely different from her White Mage persona? As the white mage, Faris seemed more outgoing, sassy, and laughed evilly on numerous occasions, even when no one was watching her, but now she's relatively polite and soft spoken. I know Faris was coerced into being the white mage, but how come her white mage persona seemed THAT different to her normal persona?

Some say using white magic caused her to act so crazy and over the top, but if that's the case, then why didn't the rest of fairy tail get affected that way? The rest of fairy tail, for the most part, still act like themselves, even though they were also turned white.

Which persona is closest to Faris's true self? Which persona is the facade, or are they both facades? Faris seemed more fun when she acted crazy and over the top, now her personality is almost the same as Touka's.

That's a good question and I actually have two theories:

1) The time she lived in Heartland was not the best for her from a mental-health point of view. "The whole world I'm living in is in danger and the only person who can prevent it form exploding is me?" add to that the stress of being in a completely different context from what you're used to, I'd be a little upset up too.

2) The whole Heartland+Selene experience has matured her. Now stay with me: we could call her White Mage behaviors kinda "childish"(?) and once she was defeated, something in her mind may have clicked and she became calmer. It might sound a bit complicated, idk, however I thought about it because I was sassy as a child myself, but now that I have grown up and matured I have become a much calmer person. I don't really mean that Faris was a child, however maybe the context where she grew up according to the idea of "We are very important priestesses to this world" made her feel a little full of herself until she got defeated.

At least that's how I saw it, if there are more reliable theories than mine, I'd love to hear them.

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Review - Episode 21

Bit of a slow start but I enjoyed it.

So, we learn more about the White Mage, actually named Faris. If she’s not the real White Mage, I’m curious if the real one will ever come up in the plot.

She was tricked by Selene into thinking the other Dragon Gods needed to be eliminated. Turns out Selene just likes watching chaos ensue, whether that be in Elentear or Earthland. Looks like she won’t be one of the Dragon Gods they reason with. (Her initial request to Touka sounded unconvincing at first anyways. If you don’t like the dragons in Earthland, you literally have the power to travel to a world without them. Since it ended up being a lie, I don’t mind as much.)

This confused me. There’s a big reaction to Selene being able to use magic in Edolas. I think that would just need a quick explanation (maybe she’s just that powerful). The thing is, Natsu also whips out his fire magic to attack Selene, so that poses another exception of magic use in Edolas. If it was just Selene, I could brush it off, but Natsu too?

Also, Selene arrives in Edolas using Aqua Aera, one of Touka’s spells. How? I’m hoping copy magic might be part of her powers to explain this, but other than that it’s very random. (Like, I know dimension jumping is Selene’s whole thing, but it’s a water spell and she’s a Moon Dragon)

Does this count as a dragon? It’s very wolf-like.

I really enjoyed seeing Elentear and the aspects that result from it being a world with an abundance of magic. The hand made me laugh, especially Faris and Touka being completely used to it. I hope they continue using the uniqueness of this world in the plot.

WHY DID THEY MAKE LUCY LEAVE HER KEYS BEHIND. I know there was a whole thing of her losing her clothes when they got transported to Edolas, but losing her source of magic makes her look bad. (Somehow letting her hold onto to them would be a plot hole I wouldn’t mind) Fortunately, it doesn’t matter in Elentear.

In a world with excess magic, I really want to see everyone go crazy during the fights here. I want to see tons of moves they wouldn’t normally be able to pull off. Lucy summoning multiple spirits at once (also that one spell she needs Gemini's help in casting), Gray using his Ice Devil Slayer powers, Erza using a fuck ton of swords, Wendy being able to use Irene's powers at full force.

Also, I’m wondering how Diabolos gets woven into this arc? Last we saw, they were going after the Moon God Dragon next, but they’d have to pull out a new member who so conveniently can jump dimensions to be able to participate. It’s really funny to me that they could just be sitting ducks.

When Faris mention how the time they spent together wasn't all bad, I wonder if she's talking about before she got so obsessed with magic power that she started taking them/dyeing them white

Eiden BackStory

‼️Spoiler Alert‼️

500years ago before Eiden wife Amanae and her unborn child died by unknown wizard. Everyone of the Church thought that Eiden is the one who killed Amanae because nobody trusted him because he was being cursed by Black Wizard known as a Demon!

Everyone accused him as a Murderer Eiden tried to explain to villagers and the church.

There was no proof that Eiden is the one who killed Amanae, the villagers decided to burn Eiden alive a demon who never be shown mercy.

Eiden didn't want to kill anyone there's someone who killed Amanae. All his path and his life ruined miserable being cursed his body showing a Fire Aura which is Purple and Black mixture of Darkness and Anger.

Eiden snapped himself he burned down the whole villagers and the church people burned them alive the village turned into Hell Fire Eiden standing alone after what he has done. Eiden showed his true colors of him Black wings of Darkness and Black marks over his skin he changed his full appearance into Full form Demon.

Eiden find his revenge who killed Amanae he will make them pay regret who should have mess with.

In the Present. When Natsu and his team and Mona went to Aldoron when FairyTail guild mates were control by White Mage Touka. Natsu and Happy went to White Mage base Touka explain herself that she's an Exceed and she had other side part of her body is White Mage. Touka has two personalities she's wants from FairyTail someone who can do "Separation Enchantment" . Before Natsu going to beat Touka suddenly Mona showed up as for Eiden warns Natsu to stay away from White Mage. He got curious "why?" Eiden said, "I want to settle things with White Mage once in for all! ". Touka also saw Eiden she's also scared in fear she's wants to explain to everyone then it's now too late White Mage took over Touka replacement.

White Mage said: "Hey Eiden? Long Time No See...!"

Eiden said: "White Mage I'm going to kill you once you met in Hellish Life Forever!? "

Mona, Natsu, Happy, in serious look in their faces "These are known Each other?!"

Natsu, Lucy, and the gang have been able to take care of Diablos which means they can finally head back to Ermina where they are met with a difficult request from Karameel after they witnessed the state Mercphobia is after he becomes the Water Dragon God. That's just only scratching the surface of problems because of the whole situation with Touka and The White Mage is another matter that must be dealt with altogether as well.

Look, I really loved this episode, but please tell me I'm not the only who noticed Gajeel's voice sounding really off in this episode? I really, really hope they didn't axe David Wald (Gajeel's English VA) because he aired Crunchyroll's dirty laundry on Twitter a couple of weeks ago (tldr: they took care packages and fan letters addressed to voice actors and distributed them amongst the employees instead of giving them to VA's, and they also allegedly committed a federal crime by opening mail).

My fellow Gruvia and Jerza shippers, we should be well fed in the next episode, because Gray & Juvia vs. Metro and Jellal vs. Gears are both shaping up to be amazing fights + WE SHOULD GET SO MUCH GRUVIA AND JERZA CONTENT, SO I'M BEYOND PUMPED FOR IT!

I don't think I've said this in my blog before but the FT fandom ruined a lot of things for me. The only ship i even ship at this point is carla x touka because no one ever mentions them.

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Review - Episode 20

Interesting start to the new arc but far too much fan service this episode.

The small plot of Brandish shrinking all the Fairy Tail girls wasn’t interesting to me. Was a time filler that was mainly fan service (Juvia in Gray’s mouth was weird af. Stop it, get some help.)

They keep hinting at finding Aquarius’ key but that plot line has gone absolutely nowhere. I think there should be a couple hints as to where it could be to keep it relevant.

The White Mage did a 180, becoming super desperate after her plan failed. We learn about a new world called Elentear which is where she’s from. I’m curious how she met Touka. Since Carla doesn’t remember Touka among the Edolas Exceeds, that’s still up in the air.

Her reason of taking over a cat’s body isn’t clear yet either. She’s still able to use Touka’s magic, but I doubt that’s why she’d merge with her in the first place.

I was not expecting Edolas to return at all, but it’s interesting to have a new setting.

This is the second time in this show that variants of Natsu/Lucy and Gray/Juvia are shown to be a couple. They love hinting at it but not actually committing. Nasha and Greige were very cute though.

Good to see Mystogan again! Not so good to Erza Knightwalker after they made her stupid. (First it’s Jellal in Earth-land and now Erza in Edolas. These two cannot get a break.)

So, Selene can travel across worlds. Is she terrorizing Elentear somehow? Is that the only world she’s affected? How is the White Mage turning everything white supposed to save Elentear? There’s a lot of questions I hope will be answered.
