Summary: You and Lewis met and fell in love with each other thanks to the sponsorship of the company you work for.You were going to the party organized by Mercedes both as representing your company and as Lewis's girlfriend, which made you nervous and caused you to act a little nervous during the day, so you didn't talk to Lewis much during the day, but your reconciliation was very sweet at the party.

The fact that you met and fell in love with Lewis started when the company you worked for sponsored Mercedes in races.You were photographing for Tommy Hilfiger and you and Lewis fell in love there.You had a nice relationship it wasn't secret but it was private and it was cute actually you feel safe with him.

Mercedes invited the company and sponsors to promote the race car of the new season and organized a small party, of course, you were going to represent your company and attend as Lewis's girlfriend and this made you a little nervous. You created tension in the house all day. You did this unintentionally and Lewis finally gave up asking you something, even while you were getting ready for the party, you both didn't talk.

It was really upsetting for you not to talk to him, but for now you weren't talking so as not to tire him out even more. When you got to the place where the party will be held, Lewis of course came as a gentleman and opened the door, but you didn't speak, you got out of the car by holding his hand.You took his arm and walked in together, greeted Toto and the others on the team, then asked permission and went to his company. You drank a few glasses of champagne from the tension

Finally the car was introduced and you all gathered around to get a closer look You had only seen Lewis once since the beginning of the party as he was talking to a group of other sponsors. But while you were inspecting the car, you accidentally stepped on someone's skirt and your foot slipped right while you were waiting to hit the floor, you felt someone's arms you looked up and saw your boyfriend smiling at you.

"You fainted…straight into my arms ? "I'm always one step behind you darling, I may seem far away, but I'm actually just that close to you."As you start to blush, Lewis placed a kiss on your cheek and hugged you.After hugging for a while you pulled away from him and held his hands "Sorry about the morning I was just so nervous this party is very important for both of us you know I wanted to be perfect" Lewis looked into your eyes and squeezed your hands lightly "Baby you're always perfect, it doesn't matter, I understand but I missed you"

You smiled and this time you got into his arms and you missed him so much, but you didn't know at that moment that someone had taken a perfect photo of you in front of the new car while hugging the two of you. You had a chance to pick up your phone while returning home after the party and as soon as you picked it up, this pic of you two was being talked about all over the internet. It was a very nice photo tho you guys were looked so good.

You kept smiling on your way home, both for the photo and because the party went well.Lewis saw the photo not on the internet, but on your phone wallpaper a few minutes after you entered the house.He also loved this photo, his two passions were together after all.

i don't feel like typing this up on my phone so I'm doing this and then gonna reblog it with the pics lol

but last night i went to banshee with my new roommate! he's queer and just moved to the city and was like i went thru boystown once when visiting but i like never go to gay bars and don't interact with the community as much as i would like to so i already had my ticket i was like would you like to join me and so he came along

and what a first drag show to see in chicago lol it has literally taken the spot for best drag show i've ever seen for real

maddelyn hatter? funny as fuck emcee and it was so beautiful to hear her talk about her transition even in jokes lol and her performances were great and then my fave local queen lucy stoole was amazing of course she's always amazing she did a beyonce song with a thelma and louise backdrop which was so fun

and louisana purchase did her burlesque and miss toto came out with literally the coolest top ever like new take on sea shell bra and just destroyed the floor dancing and evah destruction literally said "thank you baby" to everyone she took tips from and after doing so to me whipped around so fast her pigtail whipped me in my face and i was just.... a puddle

AND WE GOT TO SEE VANDER VON ODD STAPLE CUT OUT HEARTS TO THEIR FOREHEAD TO NEW WAVE

like what more could you ask for

i didn't get as many pics as i would have liked i only had a good spot for like three of the numbers and that was because i was struggling to hold my tip out for vander during their first number and this bear in front of me looks down and was like i'm here just because i love drag you look like you're here specifically for these spooky queens and i looked down at my texas chainsaw massacre shirt and was like uh yeah so he literally just like vaulted me to the front i wish i hadn't lost that space after the intermission lol

and chicago drag royalty just came out to support the show shea coulee was there and i was standing right next to tenderoni for most of the night and my roomie went out for a smoke break and just was smoking with sigourney beaver and fallon just was walking around doing their doom and gloom thing in drag the whole night even though they weren't performing INSANE LOVE IT

i haven't been up in boystown in awhile and i know it isn't always the best but damn it felt real good last night i fucking needed that like i feel restored

unpopular opinion: i don't think it's super unpopular but he is very much NOT the heart of the group, like Will said. That's either Will, Dustin or Lucas, but definitely not Mike, who is actually responsible for most of their fights

Ok. This was officially the best moment of my life. I had a pretty bad headache while waiting in line, so I was sitting on the ground. Then the girl behind me goes, “There they are!”, so I immediately stood up and oh my Chuck. I’m pretty sure I locked eye contact with Jensen for a second but it was so surreal. It’s indescribable. I just looked and saw them and it was the weirdest feeling and I quickly realized,“Oh my, those are two of my idols, and they’re in that room, and they’re so much more attractive in real life, and I’m about to meet them”. It was then the waterworks started. I controlled myself at first, but as soon as I moved from the hallway into the room, oh boy. Unlike the autographs I watched, the boys were in full view as Chris took the pictures. I had just as good a view of them as the camera did. And holy moly, what a sight. At that moment, I completely broke down. I wasn’t shedding a few tears of happiness, I was shaking and sobbing. Of course, at that moment, Africa by Toto started playing, which only added to my feels. One of the super kind volunteers saw me and came over with a tissue, and asked me what pose I was doing to calm me down. I told her a squishy hug, and she then helped me calm my breathing. Then I locked eye contact with Jensen again, and my goodness I felt like we were the only people on the planet in that moment. Soon after I walked up to the ticket lady, and she ripped mine in half and gave me a piece of it. I didn’t have pockets on my pants, and we weren’t allowed bags, so I was looking down rushing to find somewhere to put it. When I tucked it in my pants, I looked up, and it was my turn. Of course , the chorus was playing as I walked up. It would take a lot to drag me away from them. Misha was giving me the absolute sweetest look, and I walked up to him and just said, “can I have a squishy hug?” I was so out of it I can’t fully remember, but I think Misha or Jensen said yes. All of a sudden, I find my arms around Jensen’s torso, and wow is he rock hard muscle. Then I feel Misha wrap his also rock hard arms around me. But then there was the best feeling I’ve ever felt. Misha’s head resting on mine. It doesn’t seem like much, but in that moment of squishyness, I felt so safe and secure. I wanted to remember the moment, so I looked up at Jensen, then Misha. Another note, Jensen smells like the best cologne I’ve ever smelled in my life. So all of a sudden I hear the flash and reluctantly let go. I turn to walk away and turn back to say thanks and that’s when I really looked Jensen in the eyes, and wow. He is just so kind and perfect. I start to walk away and realize Jensen’s hand is still on my back. Then he rubs a circle with his hand, like he was reassuring me. Chuck have mercy. So of course I walk out and absolutely break down crying, it was just so perfect. Another guest saw me crying and came over, and told me how she’d had many photo ops and was used to it, and talked to me about how Jared flings his arms when he laughs ( and hit her in the stomach doing so ) and squeezed her so hard during a hug that he moved her ribs around. Needless to say, it was perfect (even though I look like a mashed potato in the pic).

A Serene Scene

(Another one from the vault)

It was a warm July evening and we headed out to Cantler’s in Annapolis to eat our bodyweight in steamed callinectes sapidus (Chesapeake blue crabs, for those of you not up on your phylum, genus, species). As we rolled over the Naval Academy Bridge, I was struck by just how perfect the light was.

It wasn’t hazy at all — just clean fresh light. About a quarter of the roadway was in shadow but the rest was bathed in a nice orange glow. We were also the only ones on the bridge, which added to the picture-perfect scene.

And of, course, I didn't have my camera with me, but took note of the time. I didn’t waste a minute dwelling on the missed opportunity as I polished off a goodly number of crabs and beers, but I did want another chance. Fortunately, the next day was a meteorological duplicate, so I left work early and heeded off to Naptown on my bike.

The timing was perfect as the bridge was lit just as it had been the previous evening. The only problem was traffic. Lutin’s Fourth Law of Photography, which states that a quiet stretch of road will remain free of traffic until you try to photograph it, at which point there will be an endless parade of cars in both directions, was in full effect.

As I sat on the side of the road waiting for the cars to pass, I was impressed by the number of drivers who slowed down and inquired about my well-being. “Do you need any help?” Are you okay?” (Toto, we definitely ain’t in New York, anymore.) Quite touching, and I, therefore, restrained myself from saying, “If you’d hurry up I’d be even better.”

Anyway, I squeezed off a few good ones. There is something about the lighting and the solitude that makes these images so tranquil and serene. Whenever I see these pics I’m transported back to that calm summer evening.

Francesco Gabbani - Italia 21 (translation and explanation)

So, this song was deleted from YT last week and I was very upset, since it’s one of those older songs from Francesco that made me instantly like him. I knew that it needed both a translation and a ‘paraphrase’ (like you would with a Latin version in high school LOL) to fully understand it and that took me SO LONG. It was very hard and I believe it’s still not complete yet: there’s something I still don’t get. But! The most is done and I hope you’ll like it!

This is “Italia 21″ (Italy 21).

I’m not sure if this song was already traslated, I’m just gonna post my version :D I’m not a professional translator so there might be some mistakes. I just hope to convey the message of the song to non-Italian speakers.

Uno. Pane e vino certo non ci manca Due. Neanche il sole in quest’Italia santa Tre. Una penisola col tacco a spillo Quattro. Tutti parlano, ci manca solamente il grillo One. - Bread, wine and sun are what Italy is known for in the entire world. So it’s religion, that’s why the ‘holy’ adjective. - Italy is said to be shaped like a boot. We also call the southern regions in Apulia “tacco” (heel). I believe the “high heel” reference is related to fashion, another thing we are known for worldwide. - We have a common saying: “Il paese è piccolo, la gente mormora” (it’s a small town, people talk) which means that basically in small communities everyone knows everything and always voices their opinions. Italy is pretty much like a big “small town” and everyone always likes to talk. We’re very good at talking and having all kind of opinions. - The “grillo” (cricket) reference is what made me instantly fall in love with this song right during the first listening. It’s pure genius. It has a double meaning: the first is related to the Jiminy Cricket (or Talking Cricket), a character from famous Italian author Carlo Collodi’s book “Pinocchio”. It basically says that since everybody likes to talk already, we really don’t need to hear from the Talking Cricket, known for being Pinocchio’s conscience and dispenser of good advices, but never listened to. The second reference I believe it’s about Beppe Grillo, infamous ex-comedian and now leader of political movement “Movimento Cinque Stelle” (the links lead to Wikipedia, if you’re curious about them). The most interesting thing is noticing how Francesco made a subtle criticism of this (known for being loud and obnoxious) politician by using a word play and a very ironic and cultured reference.

- St. Januarius is a very important saint in the Italian culture, especially in the Neapolitan area. The “number betting” thing is related to another popular tradition (mainly in Naples, I believe) consisting in praying the Saint to suggestions about which numbers to play at the Lottery. - Number six of this list is the “sei” at the end of the first line. Once again a word play: the word “six” is written and pronounced exactly like the second person singular of the “be” (essere) verb. - Another saying: “Chi piscia controvento si bagna i pantaloni” (who pisses upwind wets his own pants), which means “never take challenges too big for you”. Related to Italy I believe it may mean that we consider our nation much bigger and more influential than how it actually is and we take challenges way bigger than our real potential. Why is that? - Because we are conditioned by our long, rich history and heroical past. One example above all might have been Ancient Rome or the Reinaissance period, but Francesco wisely chose the Risorgimento: when Italy was reunited under the same flag and monarchy after a series of wars, battles and campaigns against foreign occupation. Why is that? Maybe once again to be very ironical about Italians being actually proud of being united in one country, since there are still a lot of differences and fights between North and South.

- “Svoltare il mese con il contagocce” (turning the month with the tear dropper) and “a chi la polpa e a chi le bucce” are there to express how the economy has a lot of flaws in Italy, especially in the relation between riches (who has got the “pulp”, the money and wellness) and poors (the ones having difficulties gaining enough to live by, month after month). - The 1st of May is International Work Day and it’s an holiday. It’s also sometimes used as a “middle point” during the working year. - Fave e pecorino (broad beans and sheep cheese) is a typical dish of Central Italy and Rome in particular. It’s a 1st of May tradition to eat them together, especially because since it’s an holiday and it’s Spring, people used to go have trips and pic-nics in the countryside, where they bought beans and cheese directly from the farmers. Francesco is using the dish as another way of saying we’ve got the side dish (vegetable or beans), the theories and good words, but we haven’t got the main course (the cheese), what matters.

Notes:

- I am having some difficulties pin-pointing where the first sentence is from. It looks like another saying (”magna” is generally the dialect version of “mangia” and it’s mostly associated with Roman dialect) but I’ve never heard anything similar (it might be because I am from Northern Italy, tho). Anyway “non fare una piega” litterally translates to “don’t make a wrinkle” and it’s used both to say that something makes complete sense or that someone has absolute no reaction to something. So basically who eats (presumably those rich people from the previous verse?) doesn’t care about anything/anyone else and/or no one questions it. - “Cosa ce ne frega” is, imho, the best way to describe the Italian attitude toward problems. It basically means “what do WE care?” with a very personal connotation. How do you solve unsolvable (or very hard) problems? Whatever, who cares anyway... not our business. - Italians love football and that’s common knowledge. To quote Winston Churchill: “Italians lose wars as if they were football matches, and football matches as if they were wars.” So true, Winston. - We are also very supertitious. The cornetto is one of the many objects believed to be lucky charms. I have no idea why you have to put it on the ground, tho? (Neapolitans, explain please!). The number 17 is also believed to be very unlucky (that’s why you need a corno to nullify its powers. But while you complete the rituals, you get distracted and the match ends!)

- Pretty sure the “Italia con il microfono in mano” is a reference to Sanremo, the most famous singing competition in Italy. It may also mean in general everything that has to do with Italian music, tho. Something along the line of “long live Italian music!”, even though his relationship with the industry at the time wasn’t the best and he had struggles surfacing as an artist. Would he ever imagine, at the time, that he would win Sanremo two years in a row? Bless you, Francesco. - A quote from the famous “L’italiano” song by Toto Cutugno. Just like “Italia 21″ that song too was an attempt to describe Italy and the Italians from within. Another fun fact: Toto is the last Italian singer who won the Eurovision Song Contest. Is this a lot of foreshadowing or not? (Maybe too much!) - A glass of wine and pasta. What’s better? Here’s a quick and easy prescription to happiness, by every Italian ever. - “Cazzeggio” is litterally “a thing done with one’s dick” and means messing around, having fun with friends by basically doing nothing. Tressette is a popular card game in Italy. - What follows is something we call stornello, a type of folk song which basically has a standard melody and ever changing lyrics. They are usually very funny, irreverent and sexual. “La canzone delle osterie” is famous everywhere and Francesco used it to end the song in the most carefree way. - He rhymed “sette” with “fette” but I really don’t know how to explain if “salami is good cut in slices” is a sexual reference. Salami can definitely be associated with something sexual (c’mon...) but I have no clue about the rest. I’m an innocent soul XD - “Give it to me” is DEFINITELY sexual. Especially referred to a pretty blonde girl XD That too is usually part of the standard stornello lyrics ;)

Wow, this took SO LONG. I hope it helped understand this song in depth, even though something is still obscure even to me, after translating and spending a lot of time looking things up on the internet. Have fun find other interpretations, maybe? ;)

Heyyy! Sorry it took me so long to get to your request, but I loved this. The pics Susie posted were sooo cute! „Susie“, Toto said quietly, looking into her eyes and taking her face in his hands, „I’m with you every step of the way.“

The cab pulled up next to them and with a gigantic beaming smile on her face, Susie got in when Toto opened the door for her, leaning into her husband as soon as they were seated.

„Did I tell you today already that I love you? And that you’re the best?“ She pushed her fingers through Toto’s hair, still smiling happily. She was sure that this smile would stay on her face for a rather long time.

Toto grinned, tempted to touch Susie’s hair too but not wanting to destroy her hair-do just yet. „You might have... but you can always tell me again.“

Susie laughed and kissed Toto, whispering „I love you“ and „You’re the best“ against his lips, the sounds half lost in the caress.

„Usually, I’d just take the compliments“, Toto replied and booped Susie’s nose. „But given the fact that you’re now a Member of the British Empire I think it’s you who’s the best, Dame Susie.“

Susie scrunched up her nose and giggled. „You know very well that I didn’t receive the order to be allowed to call myself that, you dork.“

Toto just shrugged. „The Queen can’t dictate me what I want to call my wife. Dame Susie Wolff. Queen of the Universe. Conqueress of motor sports!“

„Toto, stop!“ Her laugh resonated through the cab and when Toto kissed her lovingly they got so lost in their own world that they didn’t even realised the car had pulled up in front of their hotel.

When they finally got out of the cab, paid the driver and walked inside – arm in arm, Susie with her head leaned against Toto’s arm – Susie contemplated where she’d place today in her Top 10 list of best days of her life. Not entirely on top, as awesome as it had been her family was even more important. It still ranked pretty high up.

Susie beamed at Toto when they got to their room, hugging him again. „You’re allowed to destroy my hair now, I know you’ve been dying to do so.“

Toto chuckled and carefully pulled off the cute little hat Susie had been wearing. „You’re right, as pretty as this is...“ Slowly putting away the hair clips that had been holding it in place, he threaded his fingers through Susie’s soft blonde curls. „I love you even more when you’re just you.“

With a cheeky grin, Susie answered: „Just me means no Queen of the Universe attitude, though.“

Toto shook his head. „No, you’re naturally the Queen of the Universe, you can’t take that off like a hat. See, you’re just too amazing!“

With a fond roll of her eyes, Susie stood on her tip toes and kissed Toto softly. „You’re such a charmer when you want to be. I’m flattered.“ Toto winked at her and pulled her in for a deeper kiss. “It’s nothing but the truth!”~

Row, row, row your kayak

This post is dedicated for my hobby other than reading fantasy books (and the occasional lovey dovey teenage story).

And as you can read in the title,

IT'S KAYAKING!! YAYYY

Nope.

Okay, so I have this love-hate relationship between me and kayaking. For the love part, it is a very thrilling experience and i do have fun doing it, and for the hate part, every freaking time i went down to the river i always, ALWAYS got bruises.

Anyway, I took a whitewater kayaking course when I was like 10 or 11 so around 2011, and i took the course in Purbalingga with my dad's friend ( I still remember him his name is om Aji). My coach and instructor was Om Toto, Mas sigit, and Mas Agung. They are awesome teachers, i mean like dude, they taught a 10 years old girl how to shake her hips and roll her body around to do an eskimo roll in 3 days. Here are some pics:

So, since then my ica bought me a white liquid logic kayak and it was super cute!! It's white and has all this cute flowers all over it.

Anyway as time goes by and i got fatter and fatter. This beautiful white kayak does not fits me anymore that i once stuck in there when i try to 'wet exit'. It sucks, but ica bought me a new one. It's a sprite colored jackson, at that time ica and his friends shipped whole lots of kayak and i got to pick one.

So there's that. I'm not usually pumped when there's a kayaking trip coming. Probably because I GOT NO ONE to talk to when i'm at said trip. I got no friends who do this kind of thing you know, all the people i went kayaking trip are wayyyy older than me. So, to any girl who wants to gossip while kayaking with me, do please hit me up.

Brandon suddenly said those three little words…Karla was overjoyed & she said them back.”

1. Mighty Wings – Cheap Trick ➔ “Brandon met him in 2010 while playing ice hockey and, to this day, this groomsman still can & handle a puck to save his life. Karla met this bridesmaid when they both attended SDSU…and Karla still can & decide whether she is more beautiful on the inside or the outside. Give it up for Groomsman/Padrino Will & Bridesmaid/Dama Gaby!!!”

2. Danger Zone – Kenny Loggins ➔ “Brandon met this groomsman at Navy boot camp in 2013. He is known on the golf course as & Shank-Opotamus & and has yet to beat Brandon in a single round. Karla met this bridesmaid during their first year of high school. They were later roommates in college. Aztecs for life! She would still be in California if Joe had not stolen her away! Show some love to Groomsman/Padrino Alex & Bridesmaid/Dama Laura!!!”

3. Walking on sunshine – Katrina & The Waves ➔ “This groomsman met Brandon during his first year in the Navy. They were roommates together for two years in Washington D.C. Brandon has never beaten him on the golf course. Several years ago, this bridesmaid was looking for a roommate on Craigslist–yep–and found her soul twin, Karla. Please welcome Groomsman/Padrino Zach & Bridesmaid/Dama Ny-Vee!!!”

4. Uptown Funk – Bruno Mars ➔ “Brandon met him many years ago while playing ice hockey. We”ll see if he can dance tonight, considering he shattered his what bone 4 months ago. Karla is proudly related to the next bridesmaid. She is a total bad ass, a world traveler, a star dancer and she just got accepted into Georgetown University for a Masters in Nursing! Brace yourself Washington, D.C.! Give it up for Groomsman/Padrino Branden & Bridesmaid/Dama Melissa!!!”

5. Shut up and Dance – Walk the Moon ➔ “He the groom go back 26 years and share the same parents—oh snap! Brandon taught him how to skate, golf, and be awesome. Karla and this bridesmaid have been friends since high school. She has a country soul with a city girl drive. From LA to New York to Michigan, their friendship will be strong no matter where they go. 6. Macarena – Bayside Boys Remix ➔ “Brandon met the Best Man his first year of hockey. Initially, he didn & like Brandon, in fact, he probably still doesn & but all it took was a case of bud light to get him to be the Best Man today. Karla and the Maid of Honor share the same dad, but they became true sisters in 2013. They are forever opposites but forever inseparable. Please welcome Best Man/Padrino Tory & Maid of Honor/Dama de Honor Dulce!!!”

➔ Best day of my life – American Authors ➔ “They met in February of 2016. Together they enjoy drinking wine & spoiling their fur baby, Odin. She puts up with his golf & hockey. He puts up with her inability to sit still and never ending trips. She’s confident that Brandon will one day be bilingual. For their honeymoon, they are planning a cruise around Europe. They were spending a lovely day at the winery, and Brandon had mentioned that he had a gift for her but had forgotten it. Later that afternoon, Brandon asked a waiter to snap a photo of them. As they were posing for the photo, Brandon said, & Remember I had a gift for you? & and he pulled a ring box out of his pocket. The waiter snapped the pic as Brandon asked her a very important question. I think we know how she answered because we are about to Mr. and Mrs. S—– to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
