Torcon 2019 vs. Torcon 2017

Maybe I’ll repost with my stories when I get the jpegs, but for now all I’ll say is that these men are so warm and amazing. I had moments with each of them, and maybe I’ll share someday, but it astounds me how in tune and giving they are with their fans. They made me feel so special in the fleeting seconds I spent with them and I’ll be treasuring those memories long after the show is over.

Not to get Pinterest-y on you guys, but I’m scrapbooking my cons and I thought I might share!

Just finished the cover page for the book, and the cover page for the first SPN Con! I printed out some insta’s from when the cast was in Toronto for the Torcon cover page. Used the schedule for the letters, and because I never throw anything out I have my wristbands from both days I was there!

And the obligatory kings on the cover page, of course. ;)

Ok. This was officially the best moment of my life. I had a pretty bad headache while waiting in line, so I was sitting on the ground. Then the girl behind me goes, “There they are!”, so I immediately stood up and oh my Chuck. I’m pretty sure I locked eye contact with Jensen for a second but it was so surreal. It’s indescribable. I just looked and saw them and it was the weirdest feeling and I quickly realized,“Oh my, those are two of my idols, and they’re in that room, and they’re so much more attractive in real life, and I’m about to meet them”. It was then the waterworks started. I controlled myself at first, but as soon as I moved from the hallway into the room, oh boy. Unlike the autographs I watched, the boys were in full view as Chris took the pictures. I had just as good a view of them as the camera did. And holy moly, what a sight. At that moment, I completely broke down. I wasn’t shedding a few tears of happiness, I was shaking and sobbing. Of course, at that moment, Africa by Toto started playing, which only added to my feels. One of the super kind volunteers saw me and came over with a tissue, and asked me what pose I was doing to calm me down. I told her a squishy hug, and she then helped me calm my breathing. Then I locked eye contact with Jensen again, and my goodness I felt like we were the only people on the planet in that moment. Soon after I walked up to the ticket lady, and she ripped mine in half and gave me a piece of it. I didn’t have pockets on my pants, and we weren’t allowed bags, so I was looking down rushing to find somewhere to put it. When I tucked it in my pants, I looked up, and it was my turn. Of course , the chorus was playing as I walked up. It would take a lot to drag me away from them. Misha was giving me the absolute sweetest look, and I walked up to him and just said, “can I have a squishy hug?” I was so out of it I can’t fully remember, but I think Misha or Jensen said yes. All of a sudden, I find my arms around Jensen’s torso, and wow is he rock hard muscle. Then I feel Misha wrap his also rock hard arms around me. But then there was the best feeling I’ve ever felt. Misha’s head resting on mine. It doesn’t seem like much, but in that moment of squishyness, I felt so safe and secure. I wanted to remember the moment, so I looked up at Jensen, then Misha. Another note, Jensen smells like the best cologne I’ve ever smelled in my life. So all of a sudden I hear the flash and reluctantly let go. I turn to walk away and turn back to say thanks and that’s when I really looked Jensen in the eyes, and wow. He is just so kind and perfect. I start to walk away and realize Jensen’s hand is still on my back. Then he rubs a circle with his hand, like he was reassuring me. Chuck have mercy. So of course I walk out and absolutely break down crying, it was just so perfect. Another guest saw me crying and came over, and told me how she’d had many photo ops and was used to it, and talked to me about how Jared flings his arms when he laughs ( and hit her in the stomach doing so ) and squeezed her so hard during a hug that he moved her ribs around. Needless to say, it was perfect (even though I look like a mashed potato in the pic).
