✨Between science and magic ✨

I imagine Flora (BotW/TotK Zelda) as always tinkering with something, running tests to improve upon technology of the past. She’s a brilliant innovator, but magic doesn’t come as easily to her at first— just like how she took to Guardian research but struggled to access her powers in BotW.

Fortunately, Sonia and Mineru are both very supportive <3.

And when she’s back in her own era, Dusk is more than happy to stop by when summoned and help debug broken experiments :).

(Part 1/2)

When I first learned about Zelda’s fate in TOTK, I immediately decided that, even if Link didn’t actually turn into a dragon in the game, my version of him had absolutely decided that he would spend the rest of his life with Zelda be they mortal or not. Is it romantic? Is it platonic? Idk. Either way they don’t want to leave their friend to suffer eternity alone again.

It took Link awhile to decide this. The kingdom is thriving. He mentored the new generation in his friends, and they are all now well established leaders of their communities with their own lives and roles. Even if they don’t wish him to go, he will still watch over their accomplishments and protect their beloved Hyrule for eons to come.

After all what use is Courage without Wisdom?

anyway this is moreso a background thought for @linkedspirit-fanartfunart as like, a way to combine the Minish Cap's Hero of Men-TOTK thing I've got going even MORE. Basically I'm saying the Zonai will be a sub-catagory of Minish that have that 3rd eye for that story and use the size-manipulating magic to be human sized for most of totk. The minish were said to have used to mingle more with the human world prior to MC... :D

I am absolutely positive that the Sages can see and hear everything their Avatars do, at least in some level, and they all look at Link doing this and see how he is absolutely not used to relying in anyone and are like "We gotta fix this" and all of then absolutely adopt him and they will goget their boy if he's in trouble.

(Part 2/2)

After a long journey, Link mulls over his decision on how the story will end.

Left adrift without a true connection to this time, having died in a world long past, who better to understand him than the Sage of Spirit caught in a similar state? Though seasons change and ages pass, it is the land of Hyrule that binds them all together.

This is my interpretation of how Link reacts to the truth of Zelda’s fate! It really hit me with that melancholy, feeling like a remnant of a time long gone, seeing people forget me and friends grow into themselves, my only family now far away. So! I thought I’d touch on that bittersweet feeling. One of a man accepting he will soon set down his burden at long last.
