Vaporwave Siegfried Isenstein. He has his grandfather's Totenkopf badge attached to his fur coat, and has written the Kanji for 'Kitsune'; Transforming fox, on his helmet. Europeans who grew up in the orient were probably more of a thing in the Edwardian period than they are today. Especially officers from well off families might have been born or raised on distant continents, and in Siegfried's case, his father was a diplomat living in Japan, which is why this German officer knows his Kanji.

Practicing my Aubrey Beardsley inspired black and white art. Caption reads 'Two Totenkopf Warriors in Die Rominter Heide.'
These two are not romantically involved in cannon, context is they tripped XD. The intimacy may be metaphorical for their shared fate and unification in death.
